Answered on 28th June '24
Experiencing early puberty can be tricky for an 8.5-year-old girl. It could stem from genetics, weight issues, or medical problems. Watch for signs like pubic or underarm hair growth, body odor changes, or sudden height spurts. These indicate puberty onset. Talk to your pediatrician to understand what's happening inside her body. They'll run tests to identify the cause and recommend the best care approach.

My baby girl has whitish uvula this is confusing me is it normal in Newborn kindly help me with it
Female | 1.5 months
A whitish uvula in newborns is perfectly normal, which is the small dangly thing that hangs in the back of the throat. This can be caused by the buildup of milk or mucus. If your baby is not having any issues with breathing or feeding, then there is usually no reason to worry. Simply after it. If your baby is having trouble breathing or feeding, get in touch with a pediatrician.

Vomiting and brown-colored urine aren't normal. Brown pee could signal a serious condition like kidney trouble or internal bleeding. Getting him checked out promptly is crucial. Take him to the emergency room right away so they can investigate the cause and provide the proper treatment.

Dear sir baby ko cough and cold hai sath me fever aa rha hai 3-4- days se
Male | 6
Greetings, it says your baby has a cough, cold, and fever. This might happen if they catch a virus. They may have the aforementioned things, or it could likely be a matter of your noticing them sneezing, runny nose, and one who feels hotter than usual. It's regularly done the way that your baby is lying hydrated and that is the flu-correct word. You might apply humidified air and offer them warm fluids. In the case when the symptoms are getting worse, it is better to consult a pediatrician.

I get why you're worried as a parent here. Putting things besides ear drops in the ear isn't good. Watch for signs like pain, redness, irritation, or hearing issues. If your child has any of those, take them to the doctor to get checked and treated right.

My brother age 6 years hernia problem
Male | 6
It's possible that your brother has a hernia. This happens when something inside pushes through a weak area in his belly muscles. You might see a lump or he might feel pain in his belly or groin. Hernias are common in young kids. He will likely need surgery to fix the hernia. Be sure to talk to a doctor.

My daughter is burning up off and on but has had a cold and cough
Female | 1
Your daughter may get a fever due to her cold and cough. The body often raises its temperature to fight infections. Make sure she drinks plenty of fluids, gets enough rest, and gives her fever medicine like acetaminophen if needed. If the fever persists or other symptoms appear, it's best to consult a pediatrician.

My Daughter is 2 years 47 days old, she has been struggling with stool passing from last one year. At time she can pass it without any struggle but at times she could not. We have consulted multiple doctors but couldn't get a permanent solution. Everytime we visit a new doctor she starts passing her stool easily for next one or two weeks, but after two weeks the prescribed medications from the doctor stops working and we had to go for another doctor or we have to use Suppositories. We have been struggling with this issue from almost a year and have been using Suppositories or visiting different doctor. Please suggest how this could be fixed, also let us know if this is a serious issue. Will this get fixed with passage of time as my daughter reaches the age of 4 or 5 years. Thank you
Female | 2 years 47 days
Your daughter seems to be going through a challenging phase where she sometimes struggles with passing stool. There could have been various reasons for this like diet, less water intake, or maybe some muscle problems. It is a good thing that you have been taking doctors' advice; however, it is essential to detect the root cause of the problem. You can try giving her fiber-rich foods, like fruits, and veggies, to her and ensure she drinks enough water. Keep in touch with your pediatrician to find the best way to take care of your daughter's discomfort.

Mera baccha 2 month ka h jiske 2 din phale foot par vaccin lagi thi . Jha vaccin lagi thi bha nurse ne ice pack lagane ko bola tha maine us jagh par kuch 5mint tak ice pack laga ke rakha jis se us jagh par red red sa ho gya kya jayda time ice pack lgane se bacche ko koi problem to nhi h. Bacche ko us jagh par kaffi dard hota h or bo kaise teekh hoga
Male | 2 month
It's common to see swelling in the place where a baby gets a vaccine. Since ice packs bring down swelling and diminish the pain, they are advantageous. Long-time application of the ice pack might have resulted in redness. It's all right. However, apply it for a few minutes only next time. It usually happens on its own. If your baby is in a lot of pain, you can give them infant pain relief.

My baby is 2.5 month old he is facing poti last 3 days
Male | 2.5 months
Your baby has been having frequent bowel movements over the last 3 days. Infants can go through changes in their stooling patterns from time to time. This may be caused by something they ingested or a minor stomach upset. Ensure that the little one is well-hydrated by giving more breast milk or formula. Should this matter persist or if the infant appears sickly, it would be prudent to seek medical advice from a pediatrician.

My toddler has severe food allergies. How can I ensure he gets a balanced diet while avoiding allergens, and what are some safe, nutritious alternatives?
Female | 33
A diet that is complete and free from allergens is essential. Milk, eggs, soy, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish are the most commonly found allergens. It is important to search for other alternatives that are safe and nutritious, such as fruit, vegetables, rice, quinoa, beans, and meats. A dietitian can support you in developing a customized meal plan to make sure your child gets all the necessary nutrients. It is also necessary to monitor the symptoms of rashes, stomachache, vomiting, and shortness of breath that might appear after consuming food. If you recognize any of these symptoms, the advice is to stop feeding them that food and to contact an allergist for further testing and evaluation.

My 4 year old daughter faints for a few seconds and falls to the ground after crying. Is that normal? Should I be concerned?
Female | 4
Kids sometimes hold their breath while crying intensely. This causes a brief oxygen lapse, leading to fainting. It's common and typically harmless. Try calming your daughter when upset. Encourage slow, deep breaths to prevent fainting episodes. However, if the episodes persists or worsens, speak with your pediatrician.

New born baby 12 days old girl having constipation and vomiting after drinking breastfeeding
Female | 12 days old
A baby can sometimes have difficulty with bowel movements and regurgitating milk. Your 12-day-old girl is facing constipation and vomiting post breastfeeding. Constipation leads to strained, infrequent pooping. Vomiting is when ingested milk comes back up. Causes include air gulping while feeding, a sensitive tummy. To aid your baby, try burping more during feeds. Keep her upright after nursing sessions. Gently massage her belly too. However, persisting or worsening symptoms need a pediatrician consultation.

These symptoms can be pretty rough for a kid her age. There are a few possible reasons: stress, not enough sleep, or something in her diet. My advice is to take her to see a pediatric neurologist for the headaches, plus a counselor. Getting help from both might be useful.

Is fresh milk suitable for a 2 month old baby? what are the consequences?
Female | 0
Regular fresh milk isn't ideal for 2-month-old infants. It can lead to stomach issues like cramps, diarrhea, and discomfort. Babies' digestive systems can't process it well at that age. Stick to formula or breastmilk until your little one is older. If you notice fussiness, frequent spit-up, or unusual bowel movements after giving fresh milk, stop immediately. Consult your pediatrician for guidance on introducing new foods safely.

Pani ki kami kasy door krn 4 month old baby ha diahrea ho raha
Female | 4 month
Having a baby with diarrhea is concerning. Watery stools can quickly dehydrate infants. You must provide extra breast milk or formula. Stay away from sugary beverages. Diarrhea often stems from infections, food sensitivities, or overfeeding. Persistent diarrhea lasting over 24 hours or bloody stools require medical attention. Don't hesitate to reach out to your pediatrician if symptoms worsen or fail to improve.

My daughter turned 8y a day back. She was a low birth weight kid. Currently she is 16kg, 110.4cm. No endocrine or any health issues. Very active n fine. Pls suggest some supplement to increase height and weight.
Female | 8
Here are some tips for helping your child grow taller and gain weight. Make sure they get different nutrients by eating many kinds of food – not just junk! Specifically, things with protein like milk or eggs; also foods high in calcium (like broccoli) and vitamin D (like salmon). Get them moving often with things other than walking too- muscle strength is important! Enough sleep each night will help their bodies grow well too.
