The possible reasons may be stress, lack of water, or lack of rest, to mention a few. In this case, make yourself feel better by drinking enough fluids, eating the right nutrients, and doing calming activities like deep breathing or meditation. Sleep habits are also important. Nonetheless, if the symptoms persist you should consult a neurologist for personalized treatment plan.

How to relieve pain of migraine. How to control ?
Male | 40
Migraines can cause intense headaches, often accompanied by nausea, light sensitivity, and visual disturbances. Triggers might include stress, certain foods, hormonal changes, or environmental factors. To alleviate discomfort, consider resting in a dark, quiet space, applying a cold compress to your forehead, and staying hydrated. Over-the-counter medications, such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen, may also help. Keeping a headache diary can identify personal triggers. If migraines persist or worsen, please consult a neurologist for personalized treatment options.

Assalamu Alaikum My sister has been having severe headache for the past week. I have used a lot of painkillers but there is no relief. Please suggest some good medicine.1
Female | 22
Experiencing persistent headaches can be concerning, especially when over-the-counter medications are ineffective. Possible causes may include tension, migraines, or even underlying issues like sinus problems. While it may be tempting to continue self-treating, I recommend visiting a neurologist for a thorough evaluation. They can determine the precise cause and suggest appropriate treatment, which may include prescription medications or other therapies. Meanwhile, ensure your sister stays hydrated, rests adequately, and manages stress when possible. Prioritizing her well-being is crucial, so don't hesitate to seek help.

My father is having blood clot in his brain. Which was recently found . He took medication for the same through drips for 5 days . Its been 20 days or more now he says that he feel numbness in hand and feel headache similar to the ache during the cold. And also he feel dizzy sometimes . Is this a normal symptoms of the brain blood clot or an serious issue?
Male | 54
\When a blood clot forms in the brain, numbness in the hand, headache, and dizziness could be worrying. The brain may be deprived of blood supply or there could be pressure on it due to these signs. Make sure he sees a neurologist again because these new symptoms might require more treatment or assessment.

The symptoms you're seeing—confusion, decreased responsiveness, and breathing difficulties—are associated with low blood sugar, possible brain injury from oxygen deprivation, and stress on the kidneys. It’s vital to ensure ongoing health and stability through proper medication adherence and regular follow-ups. As you prepare for discharge, home nursing care will support your recovery. Please engage closely with neurologist about any questions.

One more question my ears are ringing it's been 2 months to my accident and having a slight hearing loss in left ear it will go away or not ?
Male | 23
Ringing in the ears and deafness after an accident can result from injury to the tiny hairs in the inner ear. This might occur if there is an abrupt loud noise or trauma. It is necessary to consult with an audiologist. They will be able to determine what would be most helpful for your situation in terms of hearing improvement methods. Do not be afraid because there are treatments that can be used for you to be able to hear well again.

There is swelling in nerve on the side of ear and it causes pain in head and in neck
Male | 18
You might have something called occipital neuralgia. The nerves going from your spine to scalp get irritated or inflamed. This causes the head and neck discomfort. Other effects could be light sensitivity and a sore scalp. To ease the pain, take over-the-counter medicine. Apply warmth or cold to the area. Practice deep breathing and relaxing. But if it persists, see a neurologist for evaluation and treatment.

If you sleep with the mobile near your head for how long, you will develop a brain tumor and if this brain tumor occurs, will the memory of the disease decrease and pain in the back of the head?
Male | 24
There is no conclusive evidence linking mobile phone use near the head to brain tumors. Symptoms like headaches or memory issues can stem from various causes, including stress or poor sleep. If you experience persistent discomfort or cognitive changes, it’s essential to consult with a neurologist for proper evaluation and guidance. To minimize any potential risks, consider keeping your phone further away while you sleep. A balanced lifestyle, good sleep hygiene, and regular check-ups are beneficial for overall health.

Dr my Sister is 16 years old , before two years she had suffered a severe illness 103F. And a month ago she was playing with little brother and fell down on floor just showing symptoms like epilepsy , I consult with many doctors they said that according to reports she is ok because all reports are fine including eeg , ct scan and mineral test. After that day she is felling pain in b/w eyes region and pain starts gradually and becomes severe at that time heart beat increases and feet become cold it happens normaly after one day or two days or even a week. She felt just like heaviness on eyes and head and she don't likes sound noise , light. A neurolgist dr gave me tablets( Inderal , froben) and said when pain starts you have to give her one tablet of each. Dr when severe pain happens b/w eyes , increase in heart beat , feet become cold and again and again urination(after 2 minutes or 5 minutes).
Female | 16
It sounds like your sister is experiencing a complex set of symptoms that are distressing for both her and your family. Even though her tests are normal, the symptoms you describe—severe pain between the eyes, increased heartbeat, cold feet, and sensitivity to light and sound—should not be ignored. It’s good that you have consulted with a neurologist, but if her symptoms persist or worsen, I strongly recommend seeking a second opinion from another neurologist. It's important to continue monitoring her condition and keep her doctors informed of any changes.

Dizziness for a long time.
Female | 77
Polonged dizziness requires attention. Causes range from inner ear issues to low blood sugar levels. Anxiety and dehydration can also trigger dizziness episodes. However, sometimes it signals a bigger health concern. If dizziness plagues you frequently, see a neurologist. They'll investigate and recommend proper treatment. Meanwhile, take precautions to avoid falls or injuries.

The sensation of pins and needles you experienced can be caused by nerve irritation, peripheral neuropathy, inflammatory conditions, or nerve-related conditions. You must consult with a neurologist for a proper evaluation and diagnosis to figure out the cause and treatment options.

My vitamin b12 levels are near about 200 ng/ml from 10 years although I am non vegetarian.currently i am on ssri from 1 year for anxiety and depression.now iam feeling muscle pain legs, numbness in fingers of hand sometimes very rare. It is due to anxiety issues or b/12 .
Male | 39
Insufficient vitamin B12 amounts can lead to muscle aches and numbness which will be considerably suffered in fingers and legs. If your symptoms are related to low B12 levels, it may still be the case that your meat-eating habits do not have any effect. The best way to handle this with your doctor is to ask them to check your B12 levels and determine whether you need treatment or supplements.

I am getting often headaches why
Female | 17
Headaches are a normal thing people get sometimes. The reasons can be stress, not sleeping well, not having enough water, or too much screen time. Even food or your surroundings may cause them. Drink water, get rest, eat healthy foods, and take breaks from screens regularly. Severe or frequent headaches mean you should talk to a neurologist. They happens for different reasons. It could be because of stress, lack of sleep, not drinking enough water, or even looking at screens for too long.

I'm 17 years old. I'm having sleep problems.i can't sleep properly in night, it's almost took me 2 hours to sleep even after closing my eyes. And in day time , my eyes started to burning
Female | 17
Seems like you might have insomnia, that is the inability to fall asleep or stay asleep. If you can’t fall asleep at night this can cause tired eyes that burn all day long. Stress, caffeine and use of screens before bedtime are some common reasons why teenagers suffer from this condition. Establishing a night time routine, avoiding caffeine and switching off the screens before going to bed may help improve your sleeping patterns.

My father is now 78 years old and before 8 months he was having stroke and now it’s recovered, today morning his face started swelling mainly both lower & upper lips.
Male | 78
Swelling in the face, particularly around the lips, may result from a number of causes like allergies, infections, or fluid retention. It is beneficial that your father has returned to his healthy state after his stroke, but any new symptoms should not be neglected. This swelling maybe developed into an allergy or it would be a causal issue. I suggest you consult a neurologist. They will do tests on him to identify the problem before they decide on treatment.

I have head and neck pain so badly that cannot berable.
Female | 33
I understand that severe discomfort in the head and neck can be very distressing. This type of pain may arise from muscle tension, poor posture, or even stress. Symptoms can include stiffness, throbbing, or radiating sensations. It’s important to manage this discomfort through gentle stretching, proper hydration, and applying a warm compress to relax muscles. While these strategies can help, I encourage you to seek advice from a neurologist if pain persists or worsens. They can provide a proper evaluation and tailored treatment plan to ensure you find relief and return to your daily activities comfortably.

My son is 5yrs old. He is suffering by autism. What are the treatment here for the autism?
Male | 5
The signs in kids may involve having trouble with social interactions, repeating certain behaviors, and speech being delayed. As of now, there is no known cause for this condition. Treatment can consist of different therapies such as occupational therapy which focuses on skills needed for day-to-day living, behavioral therapy aims at managing symptoms so they don’t interfere too much with life quality, or even just speech therapy if that’s where most help seems necessary. Be sure to team up with a neurologist who will assist in coming up with a treatment plan that best fits your son.

My child is suffering from severe headache everyday I had gone through all the checkups Even ct scan, mri But all reports are normal
Male | 11
If all the tests, like CT scans and MRIs, are normal, there might be different explanations for the headaches. Sometimes, stress, bad sleep, dehydration, and eye strain can be the causes of headaches. Tell your child to drink water, get enough sleep, deal with stress, and take a break from screens regularly. If the headaches continue, it's vital to consult a neurologist for more evaluation and guidance.
