When you have adenocarcinoma, you must stick to the treatment plan your doctor gives you. Chemotherapy is used often for treating this type of cancer. Just try to follow the treatment schedule, eat well, and get enough rest.

Hello, I have a few questions as follows: 1. Which is the best treatment for Lymphoma cancer with stage 2? 2. Can Immunotherapy alone can cure my cancer completely? 3. What will be the side effects of Immunotherapy? 4. How do the blood tests help in monitoring the cancer progress? 5. Which treatment has a speedy recovery while comparing immunotherapy Vs chemotherapy or radiotherapy?
As per my understanding you want to know about the best therapy for lymphoma stage 2. Treatment and Prognosis of a cancer depends on many factors, which include the type of cancer, its stage and the age and general condition of the individual. The treatment for stage 2 lymphoma depends on the type of lymphoma, medical history of patient, and others. Line of treatment is mainly chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy and stem cell therapy. Any modality of treatment depends upon the condition of patient, his age, type and stage of cancer. Treatment is stage wise. Immunotherapy is newer treatment and side effects may be mild to severe like skin reactions, flu-like symptoms, body ache, diarrhea, headaches etc. Regarding blood test ,most of the investigations are on similar pattern which are use to diagnose the disease with few variations. But choice of treatment depends on the clinician's decision and as per the response of patient. Consult an oncologist - Best Oncologist In India. Hope our answer helps you.

Hello, I want to know if breasts are removed in Breast Cancer surgeries, or are there any other methods in which there is no need of removing the whole breasts?
Female | 46
The biology and behavior of breast cancer will be considered for planning the treatment of breast cancer. Treatment options also depends on several factors like the tumor subtype, hormone receptor status, stage of the tumor, patient's age, general health, menopausal status, and preferences. The presence of known mutations in inherited breast cancer genes, such as BRCA1 or BRCA2. There are some general steps commonly preferred for treating early-stage and locally advanced breast cancer. Doctors generally recommend surgery to remove the tumor in breast. Though the goal of surgery is to remove all the cancer which is visible but microscopic cells sometimes remain behind. Therefore another surgery may be required. For cancers which are large or are rapidly growing, the clinician suggest systemic treatment with chemotherapy or hormonal therapy before surgery. This is called neo-adjuvant therapy. This helps in shrinking the tumor which is easy to operate; also breast can be preserved in some cases. After surgery it is important to check for recurrence. Then adjuvant therapy is advised. Adjuvant therapies may include radiation therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and/or hormonal therapy When surgery to remove the cancer is not possible, it is called inoperable, and then Chemotherapy, targeted therapy, radiation therapy, and/or hormonal therapy may be given to shrink the cancer. For recurrent cancer, treatment options depend on how the cancer was first treated and the characteristics of the cancer. What will be the line of treatment in your case will depend on your clinical condition. You can take one more opinion to a clear understanding of your concerns. Consult Cancer Treatment doctors in Mumbai, or any other city you find convenient.

I am writing for my father's treatment. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in April 2018. He had gone through 6 cycles of of Alimta and carboplatin till October and then two cylces of Alimta only till December 2018. Up to October, he was doing great, had no side effects and his tumor size went down. After that he became very fatigued and also his tumor size increased significantly. In January 2019, Doctor put him on Docetaxel and so far he is doing good with no side effect. But, we would like to continue his treatment in your reputed hospital. I have attached his initial PET scan (April 2018) and recent PET scan (January 2019) along with few other CT scan. I appreciate if you could suggest me the doctor for his treatment and help me getting the appointments. Also, it would be very helpful if you can give me idea about the expenses. Since he will be coming from Bangladesh, it will take time to get visa and arrange rest of the stuff. Currently I am in Canada and planning to join him during his initial treatment at your hospital, preferably in March.

Hello Sir, my mother was diagnosed with salivary gland cancer (parotid gland cancer) on 28th. It is in an advanced stage. She's 69, and on blood thinners. She is really scared and asked me to get a second opinion. Kindly refer someone who can help us through this condition.
We need to check few more details. Whether surgery done or not? Generally, surgery remains 1st step and on safe hands the age mentioned is really no an adverse factor.

If someone is experiencing issues with their food pipe, it could indicate a serious problem. Symptoms like difficulty swallowing, pain, and unexplained weight loss may be signs of esophageal (food pipe) cancer, especially if these symptoms are new or unusual. This condition occurs when cells in the food pipe grow abnormally. It’s essential to see an oncologist for an evaluation. They can perform tests to identify the issue and recommend the best course of treatment.

As my uncle has recently been diagnosed with cancer, I was trying to read about radiotherapy on the internet. Is it really the best and a risk-free procedure?
As per my understanding patient is suffering from cancer and you want to know about the best available treatment. The treatment for any cancer in general depends on the stage of cancer, location of cancer, patient's age, and associated comorbidities and other factors.
Treatment mainly includes surgery according to location of cancer, radiation, chemotherapy or a combination of these. In advanced cancer palliative care is of more importance when routine treatment are not preferred.
Consult oncologists, who on evaluation of the patient will guide you for the best treatment available. Hope our answer helps you.

Female | 52
Osteoradionecrosis is a serious condition that occurs after radiation therapy, and while Ayurveda offers supportive care to improve overall health, it may not fully cure this condition without surgery. It's essential to consult with a maxillofacial surgeon or an oncologist who can provide the best treatment options based on your mother's specific condition.

41 year old lady underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy for gallbladder stones, post surgery if biopsy turned to be cancer, we need to evaluate and treat further. My question is what else treatment u had after diagnosis of cancer. Usually we do PET CT scan to know stage followed by radical cholecystectomy for gallbladder cancer. Frankly speaking gallbladder cancer per se has poor prognosis only
