As per my understanding you want to know about the best therapy for lymphoma stage 2. Treatment and Prognosis of a cancer depends on many factors, which include the type of cancer, its stage and the age and general condition of the individual. The treatment for stage 2 lymphoma depends on the type of lymphoma, medical history of patient, and others. Line of treatment is mainly chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy and stem cell therapy. Any modality of treatment depends upon the condition of patient, his age, type and stage of cancer. Treatment is stage wise. Immunotherapy is newer treatment and side effects may be mild to severe like skin reactions, flu-like symptoms, body ache, diarrhea, headaches etc. Regarding blood test ,most of the investigations are on similar pattern which are use to diagnose the disease with few variations. I want to know if there are non-invasive treatment options for Lung Cancer? My father is 60 years old and was recently diagnosed with stage 2 Lung cancer.

Treatment for any cancer depends on the stage of cancer, age of patient, his general condition mainly. But mainly the treatment includes - Surgery. Surgeon removes affected part or sometimes a lobe or entire lung, depending on all the parameters of patient. Types of surgeries are- Wedge resection, Segmental resection, Lobectomy and Pneumonectomy. Doctors may also remove lymph nodes from chest to check for cancer. Doctor may suggest chemo or radiation therapy before surgery in order to shrink the cancer if it is a large. Also the same may be done in case recurrence is suspected. Radiation therapy It is also recommended in whom surgery is not recommended as the first line of treatment.. Chemotherapy Chemo along with adjuvant treatment to surgery also is given to relieve pain and other symptoms in advanced cancer. Radiosurgery Radiosurgery can be advised for people with small lung cancers who can't undergo surgery. It may be given in metastasis of cancer. Cancer is tough, but there's hope. Please let the doctor know if she feels worse even after treatment. Some symptoms such as coughing, pain, or feeling weak are of multiple possibilities. The doctor possibly has to ascertain if the cancer has recurred or if there is another problem. Waiting is not a good choice especially when you tell them how your mother is doing.

My father had to go through prostate gland surgery two times. First time in 2016 in Siliguri and 2nd one is from Amri Hospital, Mukundapur, Kolkata in 2021. Both the biopsy reports came negative. But the doctor said it might happen again. My question is if we had to operate another time, would it be cancerous?

Many a time prostate gland increases in size without any cancerous component called as Benign prostate hypertrophy which occurs due to age factor. Every time the surgery is done, some tissue is always sent for histopathological investigation which shows whether the disease is cancerous or not.

After any cancer surgery and chemotherapy sessions it is mandatory to have regular follow up visits with an oncologist to check any signs of disease. There are many side effects of surgery and chemotherapy which also has to be dealt with, that is the reason why even though cancer free but regular follow up is mandatory.
