It's understandable to feel concerned about changes in your genital area. The bumps you describe could be related to several conditions, including common skin variations like Fordyce spots or other benign growths. While many are harmless, any new or changing symptoms should be evaluated by for an accurate diagnosis and peace of mind. I encourage you to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist or urologist who can provide personalized advice and treatment options if necessary.

Is psoriasis curable .how long does it take to cure . What are it’s symptoms . Which medicines can cure it.what are causes of psoriasis.is it infectious
Male | 26
Psoriasis is a skin condition that can't be cured but can be managed well. It causes red, scaly skin patches. These are often itchy or painful. Its exact cause is unknown. But it's thought to be linked to the immune system. Some medicines help control its symptoms. Like creams for the skin or pills taken by mouth. Psoriasis isn't contagious. You can't catch it from others. Working with a dermatologist is key. They'll help you find the treatment plan.

While moles are usually harmless, changes in their shape, color, or size could signal something serious. Keep a close eye on them, and if you notice any changes, visit a dermatologist.

I am 27 year old living in ranchi kanke road , having serious problem of dandruff hairfall and my hair color is changing into white even some part of beard as well. Kindly help me with the treatment.
Male | 27
Dandruff in the scalp is due to excess sebum (natural oil) production along with increased activity of a fungus called Malassezia in the scalp. Antifungal shampoos containing Ketoconazole, Ciclopirox, selenium sulphide can help treat the dandruff. If it is severe, oral antifungals are also prescribed for a short duration. Salicylic acid, coal tar shampoos are also prescribed in case of excess flakiness of scalp. Hair fall may be due to dandruff, nutritional deficiencies, stress or due to genetic factors. It is recommended to visit a dermatologist who can diagnose the cause of hairfall and may suggest treatment accordingly. Trichoscopy of the scalp may help in understanding the nature of the scalp and condition. Nutritional supplements, Capixyl containing serum, Minoxidil solution, oral supplements containing vitamin and minerals are prescribed by the dermatologist to treat the hair loss. Change in hair colour in beard and scalp may be due to nutritional deficiencies or strong hair colours or genetic causes. Dermatologist’s help may be needed to treat the same. Calcium pantothenate containing supplements may help slow down the greying and sometimes restore the colour of hair.

I am 29 old guy suffering from Skin rash issue on my lags, I notice some red patch and at a same time it's very itchy
Male | 29
Skin rashes are caused by factors such as allergic reactions, insect bites, or skin disorders. Those red, flaky patches of skin and the sensation of itching can be attributed to eczema or contact dermatitis. To avoid itchiness, you may try nourishing the skin cream that is good for your skin, or you could also use cold compresses. If the rash is not going away and is becoming more intense, it would be best to see a dermatologist who can evaluate and treat the condition.

I am a 37 year old female and have cellulitis. I’ve been on antibiotics for a little over 36 hours but the pain is getting worse. The rash doesn’t seem to be spreading but it’s getting harder and darker
Female | 36
Cellulitis is a skin infection that may exhibit symptoms such as redness, swellings, and pains. Sometimes, it might even make you look more like a bruiser before getting better. The treatment needs a bit of mystery, so it would be wise to give it a little time before you see the full effects. You should not forget to take them at the prescribed time and also be sure to drink enough water. If the pain becomes unbearable or you notice any other alarming symptoms, you should contact a dermatologist.

Small blisters on my penis glans ,it appeared two weeks ago. I consulted a skin specialist and applied a cream. After 5 days of treatment blister now looks like a round skin patch and new blisters appeared near to it. Am not feeling any itching or pain or any kind of discomfort because of it. As per doctor instruction I checked my blood glucose level and its 124. Is there anything to worry ... Help me
Male | 36
Round clusters and little blisters on the penis are probably symptoms of a herpes genitalia-like disease caused by a virus. This disease also leads to the appearance of new blisters, even after treatment. The grade of blood glucose that equates to 124 is a tad beyond normal, suggesting diabetes can be the case. Despite the absence of symptoms, visit your dermatologist to check and take care of it. Otherwise, unbearable pain or visual damage may become a result at a later stage.

Male | 21
The scrotum itchiness, accompanied by bumps with a white liquid and ring-like rashes on the thighs, is a fungal infection. Lorid 10mg plus Cutis lotion are antifungals that may help. Ensure to clean and dry the exposed skin areas. Use the lotion according to the directive given in the instructions. If your condition does not improve or gets worse, seek advice from a dermatologist.

Female | 34
Acne frequently affects teenagers and grown-ups. Clogged pores, hormonal changes, bacteria cause it. Wash your face gently twice daily using mild cleansers. Don't touch pimples or pick them. Avoid harsh scrubbing. Use oil-free cosmetics, skincare items. See a dermatologist if severe.

I am a 17 year old girl, recently I noticed some white small point sized or slightly bigger patches on my hips. I don't know what to do, but I'm afraid this might be some big disease.
Female | 17
It might be a common skin condition called pityriasis alba. This isn't something to worry about. Pityriasis alba can lead to pale patches on the skin, mainly on the face, neck, and arms. You can see them better in summer when your skin is darker. Dryness is what makes the skin turn lighter than it’s supposed to be, the reason for this happening is mostly because of dryness. You might also want to consider moisturizing your skin more often with lotion, or drinking plenty of water helps too. If there is no change after doing all these things then go to a dermatologist who will advise on treatment methods for this condition.

My baby daughter whose age is 2 years and 10 months got some rashes ( without irritation/itching) two weeks back. Pediatrician recommended atarax, a to z syrup and one dose of ivermectin/albendazole syrup. They decreased for two days and again came on second day. Then he proposed predone syrup. They went away from then. After three to four days further we stopped medication as suggested by pediatrician. Now it is 14th day. Today morning again slight rashes appeared. But not like earlier. Should we wait for two more days so that they reduce themselves or consult a pediatrici dermatologist
Female | 3
The rash has been rightly treated with medications prescribed by the pediatrician. You can wait to see how the rash develops or goes away by itself in a few days

Pitti and kujli rash padh rahe hain aur Kyon chal rahi hai
Male | 22
The most common reasons behind this are allergies and skin irritation. You should pay attention to the products you use because they should not contain any harmful ingredients. To fight against this problem, moisturize well and avoid using soaps and chemicals that are too harsh.

As asked earlier that can I exercise if having fungal infection, but now my q is after 1 month of medication my fungal infection is recovered, but due to long use of medicines , stretch marks are visible so now can I exercise..?
Male | 17
It is usual for scars to show up when you are on medication for a long time. Now that the infection is gone, you can begin working out, but you need to take it easy. Stretch marks usually disappear on their own, but applying moisturizer to your skin can help. Always keep in mind that it is your body that will determine the limits, and in case of any pain or discomfort, stop.

17 year old Trans man. I believe i have an infection on my finger for a few months. There is redness, swelling and some black and yellow bits.
Male | 17
It looks like you have a sore on your finger. A sore is red and puffy. It might have black or yellow stuff. This means germs got in a cut. To help, keep it clean and dry. You may need medicine if it does not get better. Do not pop it by yourself. Just cover it until you see a dermatologist.

I have spot on penis last 2 days it's a abit sore had white head
Male | 35
Getting pimples on your penis happens, like the face. This one is irritated and painful. Sometimes sweat or rubbing causes them there. Don't touch it or try squeezing. Cleanliness and dryness help. However, if it worsens or persists, see a dermatologist soon.

1) Is laser therapy permanent treatment 2) If one has tanning issue will laser therapy remain or skin will become as it was after a while
Female | 21
Individuals may notice variable results caused in part by things like their skin type and continued sun exposure. If you are struggling with your tanning issue, your skin's final response to the treatment, as well as the follow-up care you provide will play a major role in the effectiveness of the therapy. The key is not only to be consistent with your skincare routine but also to shield yourself from the sun. For the best possible outcomes and the advice that is designed especially for you, I would suggest arranging an appointment with a dermatologist of your choice.

I am 23 years old and I did a breast surgery on 17th of march 2024 for removal of lump. The wound is yet to heal now. Few days after the surgery i noticed leakages from the stitches so i went back to the doctor then he stitched it again whivh made the healing process very slow. What can I do to heal the opened wound on my right breast? I find it difficult to bathe. I was prescribed ciprotab by the doctor and vitamin c (but I got the coloured ones instead) or should I have been using the white one? I already stopped the ciprotab
Female | 23
To help the wound heal, ensure that you keep it clean and dry, wash the area gently with some mild soap and water then dry. Any rough movements which might disrupt the stitches should be avoided. Consult with Your Doctor on the right type of vitamin C use, usually white because colored ones could have added ingredients. Should there be signs like increased pain, redness, swelling, or pus, then do seek medical Help immediately as this could mean infection.
