what do dry nipples indicate?
Hello ..i have one side nipple dryness problem....and this problem started from 4to5 days before ...why it's so?

Answered on 23rd May '24
Recent onset problem may be related to some benign skin disorders like eczema. However it may be the presentation of an 'in situ' type of breast cancer or a breast cancer inside the breast tissue. You must visit a surgical Oncologist and if needed a skin specialist

Many things may lead to nipple dryness including the changes in weather and its irritant factors such as dust, clothing or skin care products especially if one is affected by eczema. If this issue continues or appears along with other signs such as redness, itching and discharge then the best thing to do is visit a dermatologist. They can evaluate the condition of your skin and suggest the necessary treatment or advice on skincare. Skin changes that are new or ongoing should be discussed with a medical professional.

I am 20 years old. I using the steroids cream in long years. I cant stop now. How to stop it?
Female | 20
Long-term use of this steroid cream should be undergone with caution because it may result in some negative effects e.g. skin thinning and/or infections. The use of the cream should be halted gradually. Cutting the dose of the cream immediately may lead to the onset of the withdrawal symptoms. This calls for consulting a dermatologist.

Stitches on web of hand have opened and now there is pus and earlier a large red mass on stiches
Male | 14
You may have an infection in the stitches on your hand. When pus comes out, it indicates that there is probably bacteria which is causing the infection. This might have occurred if the wound was not kept clean. If there was a large red lump previously, it could have been an abscess. It’s crucial to have this seen by medical professional because, without proper care, things like these can worsen.

Nido r Biofiber transplant
Male | 27
Nido and Biofibre are two types of alternative artificial hair transplantation procedures that can be used instead of traditional techniques. Nido incorporates the use of synthetic fibers that mimic natural hair, whereas Biofibre uses biocompatible artificial fibers to lower allergies. Both of these operations are less invasive than traditional hair transplants and can provide faster results, but there is a risk of infection or rejection by an organism. It is important to consult an expert dermatologist or hair transplant specialist in order to know the risks and benefits of these approaches for treating your peculiar case.

Good day, I want to consult you regarding a congenital nevus and a female child aged 7.5 years. The nevus is visible at the back of the back, measuring 2-2.5cm vertically and 1-1.5cm horizontally. Is it safe to remove the nevus, is it possible to remove it completely, without leaving any cell that would continue to grow and become malignant. Is it safe in the sense that there is no risk of turning into melanoma if it is split? Thank you in advance for asking, Nice day
Female | 7
A birthmark that grows is called congenital nevus. Most are harmless, but removal could help if it bothers your child or risks becoming melanoma (cancer). Talk to a dermatologist. If removal is best, they'll do it carefully to minimize any left cells that could maybe become cancerous. Watch for changes. Follow the doctor's advice.

I am suffering from fungal infection since last 6 months. I got relief for few days from the cream which I had bought from the chemist shop. Then this work is done properly. I asked a doctor and took Fluconazole medicine for two-four days, it did not make much difference, still it is itching a lot, so please suggest me some cream or medicine which can help in this problem. The problem should be eliminated from its roots
Male | 16
Some over the counter creams can ease the pain temporarily, they are usually not persistent enough to eradicate the infection. You should visit a dermatologist they will be able to diagnose the particular fungi and prescribe medication like antifungal creams or oral medication such as terbinafine and itraconazole.

I have a dry skin, for which the doctor had suggested Zydip lotion having Beclometasonen in it. I am using it regularly with body moisturizer. Can i use it regularly or not?
Male | 23
There are various causes of dry skin including weather conditions, age and certain skin disorders. This can lead to symptoms such as itching, redness or rough patches. Beclometasone contained in Zydip lotion works by reducing inflammation as well as itching. The medicine should be applied along with a skin moisturizer although the frequency of use will depend on what your doctor tells you.

Iam 36 years old I have oily skin with open pores I need some moisturizer for.my skin to.look fresh kindly suggest
Female | 36
You need a non-comedogenic moisturiser which doesn’t cause any breakout or add to the oily state of the skin. Squalene, ceramide containing moisturisers which do not block the pores are recommended for oily skin. Please consult a dermatologist for thorough analysis of your skin to get a customised prescription suitable for your skin. Each one has a unique skin and has to use best suitable products to maintain a healthy skin. Open pores can be reduced by using retinol containing creams at bedtime. If they are severe procedural treatments like laser toning, micro needling radio frequency can help.
