Sometimes periods can be late. Stress, weight changes, or hormonal problems can be the reason for this to happen. Get a wait for a week, you might see your period because of that. Or, you might have pain, dizziness, or heavy bleeding. The best thing to do is to visit a gynecologist in such a case.

I'm a girl aged 18 and having pain on my lower stomach like period cramps but it happens everytym when I'm not on periods and if I had my period it will finish in 8 days but the flow will be drops only from day 7.It started in February when I came from my country to Uk
Female | 18
You seem to be dealing with a situation that is clinically known as pelvic pain. This pain in the lower part of the stomach might be because of a lot of reasons such as ovarian cysts or endometriosis. These may cause the uterus to be painful even when one is not in the menstruation window. Occasional delay and duration of your period may also serve as a clue that something is not right with your hormones. You can visit a gynecologist for consultation and treatment.

I am suffering from vaginal discharge
Female | 33
Vaginal discharge is common in women. It helps keep the vagina clean. But, check if the smell, color, or feel changes. It could mean you have an infection. Itchiness or irritation down there are symptoms. Bacteria, yeast, or viruses cause infections. See a gynecologist for checkups and treatment.

Brown and bright red clots may be caused by hormonal changes, fibroids, or even infections. If you also have any pain, nausea, or fever along with this, it is essential to contact a gynecologist. They can find out the reason and suggest the most appropriate treatment.

35 Female with lower abdominal pains below the belly button, bilateral(on both the left and right sides) unilateral in nature(where one sided pain occurs). Sharp and pinpoint to same location for both left and right sides, directly across from each other. happening since October 2021, coincided with period first occurrence on right side 2021 thought it was a cyst at first. Went away until the second occurrence on June 19th, 2022(period cycle then was June 8th - 16th), right side. Went away and returned September 25th, 2022 on left side this time(period cycle for September 2022 was the 3rd through 11th), it occurred again in January 7th 2023 on the right side(period cycle for January 2023 a skipped period) at this point I still thought it was was cyst like pain or even ovulation pain bothering me,so I went to gynecologist, they thought it could be large intestine related due to the location of the pains. I got an ultrasound that came back normal in February of 2023. The same day i had the ultrasound, I went to medexpress to get my physical for my driver's permit, and they suggested asking my previous pcp for a ct scan, to check my appendix. It was hard to get into my previous pcp as I didn't see them in 3 years so I wasn't established. I reached out to the gynecologist I saw in january of 2023, in June 2023 when I had another occurrence of the pain, to see about getting a ct scan. It was approved by insurance, but ultimately denied under physician review( by the supervising gynecologist, and my previous pcp, because my ultrasound was normal). I then established care in December of 2023, with a new pcpx who is suspicious that my pains are coming from ibs mixed with spasms. I am taking dicyclomine 10 mg 4 times a day as needed, but it's not really doing anything when the pains occur. My pcp also changed my dicyclomine to a 45 day supply as I asked in a different question. I also met with a surgeon in March of 2024 due to a large gallstone, as my pcp said they were common in people my age. The surgeon gave a complete different answer than what I have been given before, and he thought my pains could be coming from endometriosis. The surgeon performed my cholecystectomy, on May 29th, and did a general exploration during it, but found no endometriosis. My pcp still suggested getting an evaluation for endometriosis just to know we didn't miss anything, as well as getting evaluated by a gastroenterologist. As my pains have still been continuing. What could these pains be coming from? I feel like I will be tossed back and forth between gynecology and gastroenterology, and I don't want that at all. Some helpful info: My new pcp also diagnosed me with pcos as I fit the criteria for it with my irregular period cycles, despite my bloodwork and ultrasound coming back normal. I also had the cbc; comprehensive metabolic panel; celiac; thyroid; A1C; ESR; and C-Reactive protein all tested in December of 2023 when I met with my new pcp. The only two that came back as abnormal were my ESR at 34 and C-Reactive protein at 29.7
Female | 35
You have been through a lot with your abdominal pains. Therefore, considering the normal ultrasound results and the new suspicion of endometriosis from the surgeon, your pain may be due to endometriosis, the condition wherein tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus that can result in cyclical sharp pelvic pain. It's okay to talk to a gynecologist about more tests and treatments. Besides, you might want to see a gastroenterologist, too, so as to eliminate the probability of any intestinal problems causing the symptoms you are having.

I have recently had unprotected sex thrice. I also consumed ipill all those times the next morning itself. The last time I had unprotected sex was on 15th May and ipill on 16th may morning. Past 2-3 days I have been getting very bad cramps in my lower abdomen and I'm bleeding (spotting) blood clots. I have PCOD and I do not get my periods. I get it very rarely, twice or thrice in a year. I don't remember my last period date. Are these the side effects of the ipill or are there any chances of pregnancy/miscarriage?
Female | 23
The cramps and bleeding with blood clots might be caused by the ipill. It can change menstrual bleeding at times. However, because your periods are irregular and you have polycystic ovarian syndrome, other possible reasons should not be left out. These signs could also result from hormonal variations or maybe pregnancy is on the way. See a gynecologist who will help find out what these mean.

Female | 35
It's usual to have some spotting if you are taking Crina NCR. Spotting is light bleeding between your periods, which may have a few reasons. It could be due to the hormonal changes caused by the medication. To spot the side effects, be sure to take your prescribed drugs regularly, drink enough water, and eat healthily. If the spotting continues or increases in intensity, inform a gynecologist.

Can I conceive at the age of 43
Female | 43
Getting pregnant at 43 might require some effort, but isn't impossible. Fertility decreases with age, so conceiving gets harder. Irregular periods or hot flashes could signal fertility changes. This happens because egg quantity and quality decline over time. Fertility treatments like IVF might help boost the chances of pregnancy. Consulting a fertility specialist can provide further guidance on available options.
