i have pain in abdomen .
Female | 25
Stomach pain is no fun. It might seem like a small issue, but it could indicate something serious. It could be just gas or something you ate that disagreed with you. Or maybe it's a bug going around. But don't ignore it—conditions like appendicitis require medical attention. Stay hydrated and eat bland foods. If the pain persists or worsens, see a doctor. While belly aches are common, some need treatment.

Hey .I got my gallbladder removed onthe 3rd October 2022 but I still get pains on right side .I'm always bloated what is scaring me Is i feel like my muscles or nerves are stiff and always in pains.what could cause more unexplainable complications after gallbladder removal and should be done .I go to the doctor they give me ulcer medd and pain blocks
Female | 32
Having lingering discomfort after gallbladder removal isn't unusual. However, ongoing right-side pain might indicate complications. You could potentially be dealing with post-cholecystectomy syndrome. This condition sometimes occurs due to affected bile ducts or digestive troubles. Consulting your gastroenterologist is crucial for relief. Additional tests or medications may be recommended to manage persistent symptoms. Take care!

Does the gallblader polyps cause bad oral breathing?
Male | 40
Tiny outgrowths found in the gallbladder are known as gallbladder polyps. Symptoms of this condition are generally absent. However, some people may experience abdominal pain, vomiting or nausea if they have gallbladder polyps. Although the precise cause is unknown, there are instances when they have been associated with high cholesterol levels or inflammation.

I'm 26 years, an exchange student in Spain. Sunday 10.11 I went to the hospital because I had severe belly ache but they said it's only gas trapped in the belly. Ever since I had discomfort in my belly and only the medicine Buscapina helped me. yesterday for the first time I had pain in my chest, but it dissapeared after 20 minutes.
Female | 26
The chest pain that you had might have been because of the gas. The gas in your stomach might be exerting your chest. Try to eat fewer meals, stay away from gassy foods, and keep your body well-hydrated if you can. If the pain comes back or worsens, consult a gastroenterologist.

Female 50 years old Ogun state Sango Ota Yesterday I was having continous stomach pain accompany with back pain Today I'm no longer feeling the back pain but I'm still having stomachs Pain and anytime I go to the toilet to urinate I pass some fluids from my anus like a watery faeces. The fluid is hot.And I'm coughs a little bit Doctor please what is wrong with me?
Female | 50
You may have a tummy bug, or gastroenteritis, which makes you feel sick. It can cause a tummy ache, a thin watery bowel movement, and even a cough sometimes. The hot liquid coming from your anus is most probably diarrhea. This can happen when your stomach and intestines get irritability, usually, because of viral infections like norovirus. Staying hydrated with water or oral rehydration solutions and getting enough rest are vital. Eating light foods like bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast might settle your stomach. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it's best to consult a gastroenterologist.

I wanted to ask why is there blood in my stool? I have had some blood in my poop before because of hemorrhoids, but I'm concerned now because this time it was more than just blood on the toilet paper, it was also on the toilet water and in the stool. When I did try to poop, it was hard and some part was sharp too, which is making me think that it was because of that, but I googled why and it made me overthink that I might have a serious problem.
Female | 15
Blood in stool can be caused by different causes like hemorrhoids, anal fissures, inflammatory bowel disease, infections, polyps. But, since there is also blood in the toilet water, so it will be prescient to consult a gastroenterologist immediately. They can do the physical examination, suggest tests, and give the required treatment.

I eat something eaten by rat accidentally
Female | 15
In their mouths and saliva, rats carry dangerous germs. If you eat food that happened to be gnawed on by a rat, you might develop symptoms such as stomachache, vomiting, or diarrhea. Ensure that you take plenty of water to keep yourself well-hydrated then look out for any serious signs like high fever. Just in case they occur, visit a doctor who will evaluate your condition further.

Male | 28
One should get medical help as soon as possible. Your symptoms indicate the possible complication of your case due to hemorrhoids, for example blood clot. As for me, I would advise turning to a gastroenterologist or proctologist immediately in order to receive the right diagnosis and treatment.

I am 24 year old women and have abdominal pain for last 1 week, I have used pain relief medicines, now I have used homeopathy medicine for couple of days but haven't got any relief, what should I do?
Female | 24
Continuous pain is something that must be closely on the lookout. The problem may be caused by various reasons such as stomach issues, infections, or even conditions related to your reproductive organs. The fact that the homeopathy you have tried, and pain relievers did not work is another reason you need to see a gastroenterologist. They can actually check on you and come up with the most suitable treatment for relief and the root cause of the pain will be dealt with.

Male | 54
If your stool contains blood with clots and you feel pain in your stomach this might be happening. In these cases, several possibilities such as ulcers or even inflammatory bowel disease could be present. Hydration is key so drink lots of fluids and eat foods that are high in fibre content. You should see a gastroenterologist who will give you the right diagnosis and a suitable treatment plan required to cure this condition.

Your son should have a comprehensive evaluation and treatment by an experienced gastroenterologist. The specialist may recommend further testing like endoscopy or imaging studies to determine the root of the problem. It is advisable to seek medical attention early in order to avoid any complications.

My boyfriend had, what I suspect to be, Norovirus 8 days ago. He had diarrhea for about 18 to 22 hours, and he only had one bout of vomiting, which he believes was due to the Mountain Dew he drank on an upset stomach. Since its been 8 days since his symptoms have stopped, would it be safe to engage in close contact activities like kissing again?
Male | 23
Norovirus is a bug. It can make your stomach feel bad. After it goes away, wait a bit before kissing. This makes sure it is all gone. 8 days since his last symptoms are good. But wait longer to be safe. Washing hands well stops the spread.

I am done with my piles surgery two week back through laser surgery it was reached its 4th stage now after two week it's still swelling feeling like does my piles hit back or what . Or it is normal to have lump like swelling after went through laser surgery
Female | 24
The swelling may come up as your body heals. In some cases, a small lump may be created, which will be similar to the piles that are coming back. It's usually one of the healing mechanisms. You should always wash the site and strictly follow your physician's orders. If you have any doubts, it's always a good idea to talk to your gastroenterologist.

online Doctor Dashboard / My Health Queries / Query Thread Query Thread Answered Your Query8 hours ago Consulted for: Mr.HARSHA K N (Myself) , Age: 22, Gender: Male Hello, I am Harsha K N In december 14th 2023, I got admitted for frequent bowel movements with mucus for whole night. I got colonoscopy done on 15th dec in which they indicated it as "Ulcerative Proctosigmoiditis" and they had suggested mesacol OD and SR fil enema . In the 3rd follow up on 21st march 2024, they did a sigmoidoscopy and there it was said as "ulcers in rectosigmoid are 75% healed and in rectum it has healed completely, and also in the indication they have mentioned as "healing SRUS". So i got a bit confused about my condtion that it is' ulcerative colitis' or 'SRUS'. And also it would be helpful if got an explanation of difference between UC and SRUS because i could not be able to find out.
Male | 22
UC and SRUS have some things that are the same, but they are a bit different. UC impacts your big intestine, making it red and sore. You may get loose poop, belly pain, and blood in your poop. SRUS often causes bleeding from your rear end, gooey discharge, and trouble controlling your poop. Meds that reduce redness help with UC, while SRUS may need food with lots of fiber and poop softeners.

You may have a condition called food allergies. It is a case of the body reacting overly to some food items. Symptoms can be a painful stomach rash and a soft stool. Keeping a food diary is the best way to identify the specific food is causing the reaction. The food to be avoided is the one you already know as the trigger. The result of this is symptom disappearance and no more loss of mass.
