Do laser treatments for blind comedones cause scarring?
Hi , I had a blind comedones under my face skin , and it is for 2 years now and its not inflammed it's just like a black head but without head and the doctor tried more than 2 times to remove them by extraction but with no result (they were deep) so we had to do them by laser to open up a hole and extract them but the inside were solid so after the session there were holes and one of them is big. My question is are they leaving scars ? I will leave a picture after 3 weeks from the procedure …. My doctor is saying that it will take time to heal ? I’m afraid they will leave a permanent scars

It’s usual to have scars after a surgical process but differing factors play a role in the level of damage and recovery period. As far as laser treatment is concerned, scarring may occur, but it’s usually minimal and will go away with time. I suggest you visit the dermatologist instead as they can give you better advice on post-treatment care and ensure that you heal properly.

Dark inner thighs solution
Female | 27
The inner thighs may darken due to many reasons. Rubbing thighs together, hormonal changes, excessive sweat, and being overweight can cause it. To lighten dark areas, keep them clean and dry. Wear loose clothes. Use skin-lightening creams. If darkness remains or worsens, see a dermatologist for advice.

I have a question about spots/bumps on my inner thigh
Male | 23
Inner thigh spots or bumps often occur. Reasons include friction, sweat irritating skin. Also, blocked hair follicles cause red bumps sometimes. Try keeping the area clean and dry. Use gentle, fragrance-free products for skin care. However, if bumps hurt or persist, see a dermatologist promptly. They'll provide advice after examining you.

on 08/05/2024,suddenly i felt pain in my left breast. The pain went away after taking a pain killer. (hifenac sp).But after six days (on 14/052024)when I squeezed my breast,i found a pus like discharge from the same breast.next day i went to the doctor and i uploaded the prescription.now when i squeeze my breast i can see pus. i have two children.younger one is 4 year and 5 months old.no lump is felt.when will it be cured?should i stop squeezing breast?please help.
Female | 34
It seems like you are going through mastitis which is an infection in the breast tissue. The pus-like discharge is a sign of infection. Mastitis can result from bacteria entering the breast via a cracked nipple or blocked milk duct. It is important to keep on taking any prescribed antibiotics and not to squeeze the breast because it can make the infection worse. Ensure you feed and pump frequently in order to clear the infection. With proper treatment and rest, mastitis can generally be cured within a week.

If the marks are just pigmentation-like, they will be corrected in due course of time with the combination of steroids and antibiotics in tropical form, and if it is a depression or scar that has to be addressed with lasers.

Ian suffering from Padar thamarai fungal infection and how to cure this problem? And I am not able to eat non veg also.
Female | 44
By Padar Fungal infection it looks like you are talking about fungal infection of the foot which might present with the flaky or itchy sole. Generally it is more on one feet or just affecting one feet. If it is affecting both feet then its asymmetrical. The treatment is you have to wear less of shoes so that sweating is less. Open footwear is most preferable. Topical and oral antifungals is the mainstay treatment but if nail is also involved then treatment has to be taken for the long time so that the reserve side of the infection is treated. Consult a dermatologist for proper consultation.

I am a male 17 year old almost I suddenly was showering and checked a bump when I was checking groin area lower abdomen left side and upper part of groin area I found something that is 1 cm and I can feel it? And I checked on other side but it was very small I can feel it but not as outer side as on left side is this inguinal lymph node? Or something serious I am very tensed feeling so scared what is it , I also had ultrasound a month ago of whole abdomen I don't think it was found or seen it that because it's in lower abdomen
Male | 17
The lump you are sensing in your groin region might be an engorged inguinal lymph node. Lymph nodes can get bigger due to different reasons like a cold or a sore. Most of the time, they return to their normal size without any intervention. Mind it, if the situation gets worse, you might experience pain and other signs like fever, do visit a dermatologist.

Female | 19
A Jock itch is a skin swelling or rash that is caused by a fungus. For fading scars, use creams or ointments prescribed by a doctor. The area should be kept clean and dry. To avoid getting it again, wear loose clothes, change underwear daily, and do not share towels. Do not scratch the rash. If it fails to improve, consult a dermatologist.

Hi. I have brown dots on my forehead and cheeks bones. I have been using vitamin c and la roche-posay effaclar duo with +M. But the dots are not going.
Female | 21
Brown splotches on the forehead or cheekbones may be due to a skin condition known as hyperpigmentation, which indicates that certain areas of the skin produce more melanin, in dark spots. The easiest way to improve the situation is to use skincare products with vitamin C and avoid sun exposure. Still, patients need to understand that it does take a little time. The use of sunscreen can help prevent the spots from getting darker. You can visit a dermatologist in case of failure.

I have got foreskin infection. I tried various tropical creams, and it keeps coming back. Its been over a year now. The foreskin and veins are reddish and a burning sensation when i touch it.
Male | 26
The symptoms you are talking about, like redness, burning sensation, and recurring infection, might be caused by a disease called balanitis. Balanitis is the inflammation of the foreskin. The reasons may be poor hygiene, tight foreskin, or infections. To get better, keep the area clean, avoid using harsh soaps, and see a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

I have face problem . Redness on my cheeks Hot sensation Small colour less pimple appear Itchy skin Dry patchess on skin Can I calamine lotion for these problems?
Female | 24
This appears to be eczema, a common skin condition. The redness of the skin, a feeling of warmth, colorless pus spots, itching, and dry patches are all symptoms of eczema. Calamine lotion can help relieve the itching but will not treat the cause. Use a mild moisturizer to hydrate the skin and avoid anything that might irritate it. If your symptoms do not improve, you must see a dermatologist for further assistance.

Pimple and Pimple marks in face
Female | 27
Pimple marks are small bumps that can be red, swollen, or have pus, the pinky-gray of the skin. These things are generated when the pores become clogged with oil and dead skin cells. Pimple marks are dark or red spots left behind after a pimple goes away. In order to reduce your chances of getting pimples, you should wash your face regularly, stay away from oily products, and never pick or squeeze the pimples. Apply products that contain benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid to treat them.

Fungal /bacterial growth on my feet
Male | 37
You may have fungus or bacteria growth. Warm, damp conditions help these germs multiply. Signs include redness, itchiness, unpleasant odor. Keep feet clean, dry. Wear fresh socks, shoes. Antifungal or antibacterial creams might help too. If symptoms persist, see a dermatologist.

My face is burn from sun please give advice
Male | 32
Sunburn can happen when your skin gets too much sunlight. It may feel red, hot, and painful. To cool the sunburn, you can try putting cool cloths and aloe vera gel on your skin. Avoid sun exposure until your skin has healed. Drink plenty of water to help your skin recover faster. Always use sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun.

Can I take tetanus injection 4 days after a minor surface scratch on a finger without blood coming out. There's a little redness and pain. I continuously applied handwash and a common antiseptic cream 2-3 times daily since the injury. Now can I take tetanus injection today or am I good?
Male | 26
Cleaning a scratch often with soap and cream is smart. Small cuts can allow tetanus germs inside. Tetanus makes muscles tight and jerky - dangerous. If injured, take the tetanus shot within one to three days. Since it's been four days and your scratch is red and hurts, get the shot today to be secure. That shields you from risks.

Alopecia causes hair loss. Panderm cream is not recommended because it contains steroids and can have side effects on the skin, potentially making the condition worse. It's better to see a dermatologist for proper treatment options like topical medications or injections.

A yeast infection seems likely. Yeast can grow excessively, causing reddish rashes and itchiness. Warm, damp areas like the groin are prone. Keeping dry, wearing loose clothing, avoiding sugary foods - these steps aid. Over-the-counter antifungal creams may also help. However, if symptoms persist, consult a dermatologist for further assistance.

When your eyes look sunken, it can be caused by dehydration, lack of sleep, or poor nutrition. Have a drinking water boost, sleep well, and consume healthy foods like fruits and vegetables. Don't eat salty foods that will make your body save water. If the problem persists, it's good to go to a dermatologist for more advice.

Acne is a result of clogged pores, bacteria, and surplus oil. However, wash your face two times a day with a mild cleanser. Do not squeeze the pimples because they will become much worse. Additionally, using medications containing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide will also do the trick.
