I had unprotected sex and tested negative. What are the next steps?

Hi, I think was exposed to HIV after having unprotected sex on th 8th July. I took a rapid test on the 18th July and it came out negative. What should I do?

Answered on 22nd July '24

If one suspects to have been exposed to HIV, a regular test is one of the vital things to do. There are cases where the virus needs some time to be discovered during tests. HIV symptoms are different for example vomiting, fatigue, and enlarged glands (lymph nodes). The simple statement that must be kept in mind is that using a protector for the services is the one and that is the first option. In case of any issue, do not forget to consult a doctor.

Past masturbate cause pelvic dysfunction ???

Female | 22

Masturbation is usually not a cause of pelvic dysfunction. However, the fact is that sometimes, excessive pressure in that area can lead you, in some cases, to discomfort. Signs such as pain, urinating difficulties, or painful intercourse might occur. To avoid this situation, try to take breaks regularly and don't apply too much pressure on that area.

I forgot to pinch the tip of the condom while wearing it and there’s bubble on the tip of the condom but wore it properly and there is no breakage, spillage or leak. While the sperm came in the condom we immediately stopped sex and the sperm is inside the bubble in the top Is it consider safe?

Female | 19

If the condom didn't break and all the sperm is properly stored inside that bubble at the top, you should be fine. That bubble is there to catch any liquids, like sperm and is normal. Just make sure to remove the condom carefully to prevent spills. The bubble won't cause any harm.

I had sex with someone I don't know. And I used condoms for safety. But my mind is full of thought about getting STD and HIV. Still now I don't have any symptoms. Am I safe ?

Male | 25

Using a condom for protection when having sex is good. Condoms are perfect at stopping STDs and HIV as long as they are applied correctly. No symptoms it is a great sign. Symptoms may include sores, discharge, or pain. If you want, get tested for peace of mind. You should always pay attention to your health.

I am 16 years old and have porn and masterbution addiction. How can I overcome?

Male | 16

Being overwhelmed with the consumption of explicit material, and being involved in related behaviors can cause feelings of guilt, anxiety, or distraction from daily activities. This usually happens because of curiosity or stress. For example, limiting screen time and taking up other forms of hobbies such as sports or reading can be incredibly helpful. Creating a supportive circle of friends or family can also be beneficial.
