Severe scabies can, in fact, be very difficult, and it is essential that it is handled properly. These small, itchy red bumps indicate an infestation by mites, which can spread if not treated effectively. It’s critical to make sure that everyone in the household is treated simultaneously to avoid reinfestation. I suggest using a prescribed topical treatment that contains permethrin or ivermectin since these are effective treatments. Keep up a high level of cleanliness; wash clothing and bedding in hot water frequently, and keep the air circulating. For personalized advice, consult a dermatologist who can also confirm the diagnosis for the right treatment.

My Grandmother is Bedridden for past 4 years. For past 1 month she is having Bedsores in between the shoulder blades which measures around 5×5 cm. Initially we did dressing and it healed leaving a black scar. But for past 2 days we noticed pus discharge from one edge of the scar with foul smell. Inside the scar it is fluctuant. My questions are :- 1. Do we have to remove the entire scar and do the dressing or through the opening in the edge of the scar irrigating and giving antibiotic wash along with betadine gauze packing in the abscess cavity is enough? 2. To prevent further bed sores which bed is good? Water bed or Air Bed?

Female | 92

As for the wound, it is crucial to clean it well and cover it with antibiotic gauze. This is the way it can be healed. Concerning the prevention of further sores, both water beds and air beds are useful by alleviating the pressure on her skin. Be sure to move her body every so often so that she doesn't get too much pressure in one spot. This will also help to prevent more bedsores.

I suddenly move Rajasthan here temprature 48° my full body back sunburn skin damage and full body itching and pimples redness please suggest me best cream and moisturizer for speedy recovery

Male | 26

This happens when the sun’s rays damage your skin; it makes it turn red and sometimes itch or even have bumps that look like pimples. A mild lotion containing aloe plus some moisturizer should be applied frequently to speed up treatment. For now, however, take much fluid since this will help speed up recovery too; rest in a cool place without being exposed again until things get better.

I am suffering from a postpartum hair fall issue. What should I do?

Female | 30

Up to 50% of new moms suffer from normal postpartum hair loss due to such hormonal shifts. It typically spikes around 4-5 months and subsides in a period between six to twelve months. Pay attention to general health, softer hair washing and scalp massage. If hair loss is heavy, prolonged, or associated with scalp problems then it’s advised to see a dermatologist. You are not the only one, and your hair will likely be back to normal!
