How to Treat Swollen Penis Foreskin?
Having a swollen pennis foreskin how to treat that
Trichologist
Answered on 4th Jan '25
Swelling of the foreskin can be the result of different reasons that include infections, inflammation, or allergic reations. You may coint symptoms like redness, disquiet, or the inability to retract the foreskin. For an efficient solution, the area should be kept clean and dry. Use a tender soap and warm water while abstaining from strong soaps or perfumes is the best way to avoid irritants. Should you feel intense discomfort, or the condition keeps getting worse, or you notice a discharge, you should see a dermatologist who will be able to check the condition and prescribe the necessary treatment.

How to glow my skin and face?
Male | 20
To ensure healthy and shining skin, it is imperative to establish a consistent and appropriate skincare regimen. Use a mild face wash to cleanse; moisturizing regularly, and using sunscreen to safeguard from sunburns are also important. Using a scrub at least once/twice a week or a face mask would be nice. Thus, you remove dead skin cells to renew it

Sir/mam I had itchy red bumps on scrotum and buttocks and thighs. Previously I had scabies then doctor prescribed scabest lotion then for a 1 month I was totally fine but after that i had bumps on scrotum, buttocks and thighs without fluid(pus) in them. they are really discomfort. Currently I am using clotrimazole after using this all swollen gets disappear but after 1-2 days Or if I strach it swollen and bumps comes back. Please tell me what should I do now. Thanks ❤
Male | 20
The itchy red bumps on your scrotum, buttocks, and thighs could indicate a fungal infection or dermatitis. These areas are prone to such skin issues. While clotrimazole provides temporary relief, the condition keeps recurring. For an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment, consulting a dermatologist is advisable. Meanwhile, maintain hygiene in the affected regions. Avoid scratching to prevent further irritation. Wear loose, breathable clothing to minimize discomfort.

Fungal infections can make nails discolored, thick, and brittle. Causes could be moisture, poor airflow, contact with infected people. Treatment options include antifungal polish and creams. Nail hygiene and keeping them dry can help too. If persistent, consult a dermatologist.

I’m a 25 year old male who just noticed a purple like bruise on the foreskin of my penis shaft is this just a bruise or should I get it checked
Male | 25
The purple bruise on your penis could have been caused by many things. Sometimes it happens after an injury or from too much pressure. It could also be a burst blood vessel or a condition that affects blood vessels. Keep an eye on it. If it doesn’t go away or if there is any pain associated with it or any other symptoms occur, then you should see a dermatologist just to be safe.

Acne is red bumps on the skin from oil and bacteria. Moles are dark spots present from birth. Many people have both. For acne, use special creams or medicines. Moles are usually harmless but it's best to see a dermatologist if worried.

I have small spots developing on the sole of my foot
Male | 21
Plantar warts are harmless bumps. They're caused by a virus going into your skin through tiny cuts. The growths may be raised and have black dots in the middle. Try over-the-counter medicines to treat them. But if the warts don't go away, see a dermatologist for more treatment.

I am a student and suffering from severe hair fall. I'm 22 yrs old. I am facing this problem since last year. I want treatment for hairfall. Could you suggest useful treatment of it.
Male | 22
The reason for hair fall could be vitamin deficiency, hormonal, dandruff or stress. Once we determine, oral multivitamins for hair fall can be given for 4 months along with local hair serum with proteins and multimineral. Go low on parlor activities as coloring, blow dry. Treat dandruff with Exizol shampoo. For detailed treatment please visit dermatologist near you.

I am 19 years old male and have had red bumps on my body for the last week after having intercourse, and I know that my partner does not have an Std or anything that could have been transmitted.
Male | 17
You’ve got a pretty common condition- the name of which is folliculitis. That’s what happens when the hair follicles get infected and cause reddish bumps to show up on the skin. It can happen after engaging in activities like shaving or when there’s friction during intercourse. For this, keep the area clean, avoid tight clothing, and use warm compresses. If it does not get better, see a dermatologist for further advice.

What to do to get rid of blackheads on the face. And to brighten the face
Male | 25
Blackheads are minuscule black spots on your skin. They are a result of oil and dead skin blocking the pores on the skin. To clarify them, gently wash the pores once daily, never neglect the exfoliation part, and the third thing is to apply a non-come-genic moisturizer. Besides you can try using salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide products. Don't forget to wash your face thoroughly and moisturize it.

I got a cut and there were swiming and after ten days I reopen my wound then the blood clotting is black so tell me some treatment or instructions
Female | 23
The black color usually suggests either dead tissue or infection. Wound management involves e.g. cleaning it with mild soap and applying an antibiotic ointment. Change the bandage daily and pay attention to the wound for any signs of increased pain, redness, or pus. If these develop, you should see a dermatologist who can perform further evaluation and treatment.

I use podophyllin on my penis and testicles its peel my skin hardly burning I used petroleum jelly but not cure
Male | 31
It seems there's irritation from your podophyllin treatment on your private parts. The burning and peeling skin could indicate a reaction. Stop using it right away. Gently wash the area with cool water and mild soap. Put calming aloe vera cream to soothe irritation.

I am having dull and dehydrated skin and dark spots.. Since 3 years I have pimple on nose later I poped it and it turned out to be a dark spot on my nose ???? ..
Female | 14
It seems like your skin is dry and lacks brightness; besides the pimple scars on your nose. Skin becomes dull due to lack of water in it. Spots get darker as a result of spots. Drink water and wash your face regularly using mild soap then apply lotion too. In addition, you can wear sunscreen to prevent the darkening of these patches further.

Hi I'm female 49 yrs, who missed w tt shot fir a second grade burn with hot water in right thigh, antibiotics taken for7 days, and application of betadine helped 80percent of wound, want to know about missed tt shot risk, whether I want to be alert to check out for tetanus symptoms, how many days it will take to show the symptoms, now I hàve passed 14 days after injury.please reply
Female | 49
Since you missed tetanus vaccination after second-degree burns, you are at risk for tetanus infection. The symptoms may be visible within 3 to 21 days, usually at 7 to 10 days. Tightness of muscles, spasms in the jaw, and difficulty in swallowing are some of the symptoms that one may experience. If you notice these signs, you should seek medical attention at once. The tetanus vaccine can, however, be administered after an injury to avoid infection.

Nasty boil down below. Female. Bathed for 3 weeks. Burst but now not leaking but swelling. Have antibiotics. BUT WILL IT BURST ALONE?
Female | 55
Aching and red bumps filled with pus are caused by microbes that enter the skin through cuts or hair follicles. It's good that the bump has burst, but the swelling is still a concern. Being on antibiotics should help fight the infection. The boil will usually drain on its own, and taking a bath and applying warm compresses can help it heal faster. If you develop a fever or the swelling worsens, see a dermatologist.

Hi Doctor, I am suffering from skin itching and rashes in my groin and other private areas from a very long time. Especially in summer the itching intensifies and it's unbearable. Is there a permenante solution or treatment for this in ayurveda. Please help. I can consult with you in video conferencing.
Male | 46
Itchy, rashy skin down there is no fun, especially in the heat. This could be jock itch - a fungal thing. Nature's remedies like neem, turmeric, and aloe may help. Stay away from tight clothes. Keep the area dry and airy. Eat healthy foods.

My toe nail is split in half but not fully ot has been like it for a long time about 1 year but I thought it would grow out and the area has became yellow
Male | 14
Your toenail is split and has become yellow? This could be a fungal infection. Fungi grow in warm, moist areas like your feet. To eliminate the fungus, make sure you keep your feet clean and dry. Alternatively, you can try an anti-fungal cream that you can get over the counter. If it doesn't improve after that, see a dermatologist.
