Why is my excessive hair loss and delayed periods?
I am 18 years old . I am having excessive hair loss for past 2 months . I was stressful due to exams in the 2 months and my periods have also been delayed. I am not under any medications . I have dandruff for more than 2 years by now

Hi. I am a 6 month old breastfeeding Mom, my skin have become extremely black, very dark undereyes and hyperpigmentation is a lot. Apart from that i am facing milia like insect bitten kind of pimples of my face and hands and thighs which appear and disappear for shorter periods of time. My dermat has suggested me the following skincare products : Revetime facewash, Kozilite H serum and acne uv sunscreen gel spf 30 and along with that following antibiotics Tab cyra d, tab medivast m, tab klocet 10mg. If you have strawberry legs after hair removal technique or shaving your hair and specially when you don't want to go for laser hair removal then cleaning your hairs/legs with betadine or savlon before shaving and after shaving apply after-shave, betadine or savlon and then applying anti-inflammatory cream containing mild steroids and antibiotic might help to reduce the chances of strawberry legs. Hi. I've a question regarding my niece's skin problem. She is a 7-years old. She has developed red patches of skin on her cheek, chin and around nose. The affected area of her cheek is very dry. I brought her to a doctor who prescribed two creams, mezoderm(betamethasone) and gentamicin-akos which made things far worse. Then at the pharmacy I was advised to use ftorokart(also a cream with triamcinolone) for my niece's face. After a few uses of the cream, I've seen some noticeable improvement in her skin condition since she started to use it. It took the redness out of her nose. But she still has rash and blisters on her face. I took photos of her face in case it might be helpful for you to identify the reason for her skin condition. According to the symptoms and signs described, it appears to be a case of atopic dermatitis which is common among children of the mentioned age. It is a condition where the skin barrier is disturbed and is extremely sensitive to external environmental triggers like cold and dry weather, dust etc. It presents as red dry itchy patches on cheeks, hands and legs sometimes whole body. The above mentioned creams contain topical corticosteroids which are to be used with a great caution under the supervision of Dermatologist. Good barrier repairing creams including emollients with squalene, ceramides etc can help reviving the skin barrier. Steroid sparing drugs can be prescribed to manage the rash. Please consult a qualified Dermatologist and do not use topical corticosteroids without doctor’s advice as it may cause many adverse effects.
