Acne occurs when the pores get clogged with oil and bacteria. Having a bunch of medications and no benefits can be a terrible thing. It is crucial to keep in mind that everyone's skin is unique. Often an easy skincare program using mild products is the right route. Eliminate harsh chemicals and see a dermatologist to provide you with individualized recommendations.

I have rash which is spreading from the week. I want to know what’s the solution.
Male | 69
The rash may occur because of various causes, such as allergies, infectious agents, and skin disorders. Reporting may cover redness, itching, or bumps. To aid it, wash with mild soaps, avoid irritants, and keep the area free of moisture and dirt. If it doesn't disappear or you have any other symptoms, you are advised to go to a dermatologist.

It looks like you are suffering from a stubborn fungal infection, which can result from the following: dampness, rubbing, or alterations in the skin microbiota. Aching, redness, and discomfort are the common manifestations of it. A good way to manage this is by keeping the affected area dry and well-aerated, applying the antifungal drugs as was instructed, and thus, stopping the treatment prematurely is not a good idea. In case of persistent symptoms, consult a dermatologist who can provide targeted treatment options and conduct some additional examinations for a possible diagnosis.

I am 18 yo male I'm facing balanitis for more than a week now and it is becoming sever day by day one day it reduces and the other day it increases it has become red now and a bit swollen i it's very irritating and giving a burning sensation while washed
Male | 18
This may result from using strong soaps or failure to clean properly below the foreskin; additionally, yeast infections are common causes for such symptoms. Therefore, make sure that you wash with water only tenderly without using any soap as well as keeping the area dry. If this does not help it get better within a couple of days then go see a dermatologist who will give medicine which can cure this problem quickly.

I have Rashes on my under thighs it's been more then month have used rash cream but it's still itching and rashes are visible
Male | 54
You're having rashes under your thighs that won't disappear. The itchiness and rashes could result from skin irritation or fungal infection. Using rash cream didn't help, so you might require prescription cream from a dermatologist. Keep that area clean and dry; wear loose clothes. Don't scratch to avoid more irritation.

How to reduce age spots on face?
Age spots are seen in people above 40 years, are larger brown/ black /grey flat patches on face and hands on exposed areas. No treatment is required, if they are multiple and patient doesn't mind them. Sunscreens prescribed by the dermatologist have to be used on face and exposed areas.

I have Fungal dermatitis on my face, neck & back and it won’t go away. I’m not sure the cause (cessation of birth control, overuse of other products, diet, etc) but when I treat it with anti-fungal products it sometimes diminishes, but keeps returning. This has gone on for 6 months. Can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction?
Female | 32
You may have a persistent form of fungal dermatitis. There are symptoms such as red itchy patches on the back, neck, and face. The fungus does well on the skin in warm places with lots of moisture. The causes can be triggered by changes in hormones, using too much products, or eating habits. Keep the areas clean and dry should be done to solve this problem. It would worsen the condition if heavy oils or creams are applied because of this reason. Also, make sure anti-fungal medications are used as directed only. Do not share personal items like clothes and towels with others if you don’t want them to get infected. If the condition does not go away, please visit a dermatologist.

Your child may have a skin condition called eczema, which affects only a limited number of children. Eczema can sometimes be accompanied by irritation, redness, and itching of the skin. It's quite common in infants. Changing the soap that is used could be a solution, but that is not always the case. Use a mild moisturizer that is not perfumed and avoid harsh soaps from your baby's routine. However, the problem continues, it is wiser to see a dermatologist for guidance.

I am going through severe hair-loss how to cure it
Female | 21
Symptoms usually are marked by losing a heavier amount of hair or thinning patches. One way you can try is to take vitamin-rich food such as biotin and minerals such as zinc, through a balanced diet. Gentle hair care practices, as well as abstaining from strong chemicals, can also make a difference. Nevertheless, seeking medical advice cannot be avoided to determine what exactly requires the intervention and to be offered the right care (therapy).

My son has woken up from a nap with a read mark in a line. It is thick and red. I’m really worried.
Male | 0
Your son may have a skin issue called "dermatographia," meaning, "skin writing." When pressure touches the skin, red lines appear. It's not severe and commonly disappears by itself. Perhaps he laid on something leaving a mark. If it disturbs him, or worsens, consulting a dermatologist would be wise.
