You're having rashes under your thighs that won't disappear. The itchiness and rashes could result from skin irritation or fungal infection. Using rash cream didn't help, so you might require prescription cream from a dermatologist. Keep that area clean and dry; wear loose clothes. Don't scratch to avoid more irritation.

I am a 15 year old girl. I have a huge amount of red spots underneath my skin near the inner right thing and in my vaginal pubes. It has been spreading and ongoing for about three days now. And as of today it’s been feeling kinda itchy.
Female | 15
You could have a condition on your skin called folliculitis. This happens when bacteria infect hair follicles. The affected area may have red spots, itching, or tenderness. To relieve yourself from these signs, use warm compresses on the place and make sure it is clean. If this does not improve or if the fever develops then you need to see a dermatologist who will evaluate further and give treatment.

Hi, Im 23 years old, been taking treatments for hyperpigmentation from various doctors and recently a doctor suggested q switch laser of 4 sittings, I got the first N I personally feel tat my face n neck have gone one shade darker thsn before, now confused if I shd take the remaining sittings or not, Please clarify
Female | 23
The skin appears darker or more pigmented usually after the first session of Q-switch laser treatment for hyperpigmentation. The treatment causes a temporary inflammation in the skin, which increases melanin production and darkens of the skin.
Talk to your dermatalogist as they can adjust the treatment parameters or suggest alternative treatment options based on your skin type and concerns.

I have got foreskin infection. I tried various tropical creams, and it keeps coming back. Its been over a year now. The foreskin and veins are reddish and a burning sensation when i touch it.
Male | 26
The symptoms you are talking about, like redness, burning sensation, and recurring infection, might be caused by a disease called balanitis. Balanitis is the inflammation of the foreskin. The reasons may be poor hygiene, tight foreskin, or infections. To get better, keep the area clean, avoid using harsh soaps, and see a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

Hi my name is Neville I'm 26 yrs old male, I have skin problems and I went to the hospital and skin specialist said that I have chromic PV which is fungal infection and he suggested me to take clotrimazole lotion externally for 3 weeks and I'm here to ask you can I take glutathione? My face and neck turned black. It's contrast from the body.
Male | 26
A fungus has recently infected your skin, which may have caused your face and neck to turn black. Are these the results of the infection getting worse? The clotrimazole lotion given by your doctor is intended to clear the infection. Glutathione is not required at the moment. The lotion should be used as prescribed and do not forget to get a follow-up appointment with a dermatologist.

I am 30 years old. I had bumbs after shaving. Few weeks later it turned to sore and start spreading around my penis cap. Now I have open wounds and sore on my penis cap but it's not scratching or itching me. It's just there normal but spreading Please I need someone to tell me what to do????????
Male | 30
You may have a skin infection on your penis cap, which can occur after shaving. The bumps which get transformed to open wounds and are spreading could be a sign of a bacterial or fungal infection. Even though it's not itching, it's still important to get it checked by a dermatologist. The medicine might be antibiotics or antifungal cream for it to be better. Make sure you keep the area of the body clean and dry to avoid the further spreading of the infection.

Can stress cause bruising
Female | 23
Worry does not leave marks on your skin. However, it may cause restlessness. Restless people sometimes scratch or bump into objects. This can result in bruises forming. Feeling tense weakens your body's defenses. A weakened immune system makes bruising more likely. To prevent stress-related bruising, you should find ways to relax. Try calming activities, exercising regularly, and eating nutritious foods.

Hi, I am a girl of 19 years old. My boyfriend has given me a love bite on my breast and on back. I wanted to ask if this is normal? As I am feeling a bit sick and feverish. I want to know if this is okay to feel such way? For more information, earlier when i got a love bite, it was on neck and i faced neck infection. I had neck swelling. It got okay after medications though. But I want to know if there are chances for swelling this time too? Something like this? Or will it be okay with time and nothing will happen? Please clear. Thanks
Female | 19
A love bite can cause fever and sickness, it's normal. Your boyfriend's bite on the breast and back may have let bacteria enter broken skin. This causes infection - swelling and tenderness. Clean the area, use warm compress, take pain meds if needed. But if pus appears or symptoms worsen, get medical help right away.

I have been taking Cefoclox XL twice a day for the last 7 days for a boil on my back. The boil has almost disappeared, but not completely. Should I continue taking Cefoclox?
Male | 73
It's good to hear that the boil has almost disappeared, but since it's not completely gone, it's important to consult a doctor before continuing the medication. Visit a dermatologist, as they can assess your condition and advise whether you need to continue Cefoclox or consider other treatments.

I am 22 years old and I am facing with eczema on my finger it's kind of a dry itchy and small swellings on that finger and that spreading on other fingers of my hand too I have tried many creams but it helps temporarily and again the condition continues.. what should I do?
Female | 22
When ignored, eczema can cause dry, itchy skin with small bumps that may spread to other fingers. This condition is usually not contagious but uncomfortable. Eczema may be brought about by allergens or irritants present in the environment or stressors at home or the workplace. To manage this kind of problem, always keep the skin moisturized all the time; avoid anything that triggered the outbreak such as harsh detergent soaps among others–instead use mild ones which are readily available over-the-counter (OTC) drugs like hydrocortisone creams can also work effectively if prescribed by doctors specializing in treating diseases related with epidermis.

"Hey, I just noticed that today my blood vessels are a purple color, and when I try to touch them, it doesn't cause any pain only a little bit of sore otherwise im fine. It started today, and I don't feel any symptoms at all. im not on any medication.
Male | 20
Purple blood vessels on the skin can look unusual, but they're usually not a big deal. Increased pressure might make them more noticeable. If there's no pain or other symptoms, it's probably nothing to worry about. Try elevating your legs and avoiding standing for too long. However, if you're concerned, see a dermatologist for treatment.

I am 27 years old and yesterday I just did fat burner on my double chin and nose thread. Today my face swelling so bad. I couldn’t even open my mouth properly. My beautician gave me 2 types of medication. She ask me to take this medication to reduce swelling : 3 tablets of beazyme and 2 capsules of amoxicillin (0.5g) consume at once. Is this okay to take this dose at the same time?
Female | 27
Swelling after such procedures can be explained by the human body's natural reaction to the treatment. The doses your beautician recommended are likely to be too high to take at once. It is very important to schedule the doses of the medicine at the proper time and take only what is prescribed by a doctor to lower the chances of any complications. If the swelling stays the same or worsens, go to a dermatologist.

Kya koi medicine of pimples ko swallow ki bejaye agr chewing kr kay khya jye toh benefit comp miltay?
Female | 22
When treating pimples, it's better to avoid chewing medicines that are meant to be swallowed. Chewing them may reduce their effectiveness, as the medicine works best when taken as directed. Topical treatments prescribed by a doctor may work better. Keep your face clean, avoid touching or picking at pimples, and follow a healthy skincare routine for the best results.

Male | 18
High levels of white blood cells usually indicate your body is fighting an infection. This could be the reason why your heels are cracking. The usual culprits are fungal infections and conditions such as eczema. Your dermatologist may help by prescribing antifungal creams or may suggest moisturizing regularly to alleviate your heels.

I'm suffering from Rashes and itching
Male | 26
Your skin has red, rough patches that itch badly. These rashes look bumpy or scaly. Itchy skin makes you want to scratch constantly. Many things cause this issue: allergies, eczema, insect bites. Fragrance-free moisturizer soothes inflamed areas. See a dermatologist if rashes worsen or don't improve.

- Resistant acne and severe acne not responding to conventional treatments needs the consultation of a qualified dermatologist. Most of the times resistant acne has underlying hormonal imbalance which has to be diagnosed and addressed. Certain conditions like PCOS, insulin resistance, steroid abuse, certain drugs may be cause of severe acne. A dermatogist may advise certain blood investigations, to understand the cause behind acne and may prescribe drugs like Oral contraceptive pills, oral retinoids or antibiotics along with procedural treatment to treat the acne and long term resolution
- Genetic tone of skin cannot be changed. However tan or any other acquired skin pigmentation can be improved by topical creams, sunscreens etc. chemical peels, laser toning and other procedures can help in stubborn pigmentation
