I am 22 years old and my period is delayed three days and white discharge ki coming I tried all the home remedies to get periods instantly but nothing worked so how can I get period now

Answered on 23rd May '24
It's natural for women to have a monthly period but sometimes the period may not appear as per the due date. You might have a late period with an increase in white discharge due to stress, changes in routine, or hormonal imbalance, or you may be pregnant. Sometimes a period may be postponed for a week but consult a gynecologist they can provide appropriate advice and treatment if needed.

I have not gotten my periods since last two months so i took pregnancy test but it also came negative now I'm not understanding what to do
Female | 21
Your periods stopped coming, you're worried. There could be various causes: stress, weight changes, and hormone imbalance. Taking a pregnancy test is wise. Still, sometimes it gives a "not pregnant" result even when you are expecting. If you miss more periods, it's better to see a gynecologist. They'll examine you to identify the underlying issue. Then, they can recommend a suitable solution tailored to your circumstances.

I have sex on the last day of my period dat is on sixth of this month isn’t possible that am pregnant
Female | 29
On the last day of your period, sex does not guarantee the absence of pregnancy. Sperms are viable to survive for 5 days in the female reproductive tract. Therefore, you better use contraception if you do not wish to conceive. Please refer to a gynecologist, to discuss with him/her, the best birth control option for you.

It is advisable to take a pregnancy test in 1 week after missed periods. If the test turns out negative and you still have not got your periods, it is advisable to consult a gynecologist to exclude other medical reasons.

A short period flow can occur when trying to conceive. Hormonal shifts, stress, or imbalances could cause this. You should track cycles and any strange symptoms. Eating well, exercising, and reducing stress help regulate periods. If concerned, talk to a gynecologist.

I am 19 years old Christina I am a lesbian had rough sex and rn I feel discomfort in my virgina now I’m seeing a yellow spot like flesh inside my virgina which itches and like bumps around the lip of the virgina ! What can I do
Female | 19
I presume that you have a vaginal disease. The discomfort, itching, and the existence of the vulva bubbling and bumps could be due to a yeast infection or a sexually transmitted infection. It's not an option - you should not have sex before a gynecologist's examination. They will examine you and give you the drugs you need to cure the illness.

if i got a tetanus vaccine two months back and i got a metal cut now from shaving razors should i get a vaccine, to be more precise, I got the cut on my right hand's thumb
Male | 14
You should be okay if your tetanus shot was recent. The tetanus bacteria enters through cuts like shaving nicks. Be alert for muscle stiffness or trouble swallowing. Those could signal tetanus, so see a doctor immediately. But if you don't have issues, keep the wound clean and watch for infection signs. There's no need to panic with a current tetanus vaccination.
