Pain in the belly, migraine, nausea, and soreness in the body are all the signals your body sends you that it's not feeling well. These symptoms might also be a result of unprotected sex you had before the period began. A medical provider can be your guide to help you through the diagnosis of the possible underlying infections and other issues.

I have a weird feeling in my vagina. I feel a burning sensation in the vagina, pain in the clitoris, and also constant tingling. I feel pain inside my legs, extending from the vagina to the buttocks, and my left leg specifically. This started when I was on my period and my pads used to get accidentally inside my vagina and I am afraid it might hurted the nerves. I took cafixime cause I thought it is bacterial vaginitis. I had this for like one week and then it went away for a week and came back again. After healing I rode a bicycle twice but for just few seconds. I also showered and some soup got into my vagina so I am afraid I damaged some nerves after it was healed. Finally, I had Two weird dreams. I dreamt that I am taking an exam and suddenly I felt Contractions in my vagina and woke up. It was very weird and uncomfortable and it happened twice. I am constantly not comfortable weather if I am sitting or lying in bed so it’s very distracting, and painful sometimes. I want to know what do I have?

My girlfriend had her last period started on 5 april , we had unprotected sex on 27 april , she was late on her periods so we took a pregnancy test on 9 may and it came negative , then we waited for a week and took 2 tests on 15 may and they both came negative , what should we do next

Female | 20

If multiple pregnancy tests have come back negative, you should wait a bit longer and take another test. If you still have concerns, consult a gynecologist for further evaluation. Stress and other factors can also cause irregular periods.

18 year old girl who have been staying with his boyfriend but I went to my periods on 25 of December but just after 5 days I started having cramps and it's been 6 days and the painkillers are not working at the same time we were having unprotected sex

Female | 18

It's not uncommon to experience cramps after your period, especially with hormonal changes, stress, or if you've had unprotected intercourse. Pain that lingers and is unresponsive to over-the-counter medications warrants further attention. I encourage you to keep a record of your symptoms, including their intensity and any additional concerns, like changes in your cycle. Consulting a healthcare professional is essential to rule out any underlying issues and to receive suitable pain management. Remember, it's always best to seek personalized advice from a doctor who can address your specific situation thoroughly. Your health and comfort are important.
