Did emergency contraception work? Nipple discharge and pregnancy risk?

My partner and I had protected intercourse for the first time on August 10, 2024. It wasn’t a complete intercourse, but to be extra cautious, I took an emergency contraceptive pill within 20 hours. My period or withdrawal bleeding occurred on my usual date, August 19. However, on September 8, I noticed a small, watery, slightly cloudy discharge from my nipples. There's no pain or tenderness, but it's been happening for the last few weeks, though only a tiny amount when pressed (like a dot). I'm not sure if this is normal or something I should be concerned about. Could you please advise? And this month also I got my period with cramps ....there any chance of getting pregnant?? Is it possible? Or should I go for a home pregnancy test!? I'm too confused plss help

You are experiencing the concern of a nipple discharge and if there is a possibility of you being pregnant. The watery discharge might be the result of hormonal changes which may not always indicate a serious condition. Having your period is an indication that you are most likely not pregnant. To get a definitive answer, use a home pregnancy test which is the most accurate method if you have any doubts. if you are not sure, always seek the advice of a gynecologist.

I hady intercourse on April 25 had two months normal periods these month the date was yesterday but missed can it be pregnant

Women may start to think that they are pregnant if they miss a period after a regular cycle of two months. Additional common symptoms that a woman might have are morning sickness, painful breasts, and being overly drained. Under the circumstances of no protection used during the sexual act, pregnancy will be a possible risk. If you are the one who is pregnant, you will find that out with a home pregnancy test.

Hello doctor. Me and my partner didn’t had sex but on 4th July 2024, I gave him oral and then kissed him on the lips with his precum on my lips. And then he went down on me. Is there a chance of pregnancy? I took unwanted 72 under 48 hours. My periods due date is near. I saw very light bleeding in my vagina in the morning thinking it’s periods but I don’t get very light periods and my periods are irregular. So I took the pill and after 6 hours of taking the pill , I can still see some light red blood spots on the toilet paper. Is it normal or is it ovulation bleeding? Is it because I took the pill on the day of my period? And will i have withdrawal blood if the sperm didn’t went inside my vagina? I’m feeling very dry vagina with minimum discharge. Should I take a pregnancy test? And why am I facing these blood spots?

The probability of pregnancy from the situation you described was quite low because you took the necessary measures after the unprotected encounter. Although light bleeding might have been caused by the pill's side effects, like irregular bleeding, this is not a sign of pregnancy. This idolizes the truth that hormonal changes can cause such and such. It is common and does not mean you are pregnant. If you're worried, taking a pregnancy test can provide reassurance.

Is My Partner Protected from Pregnancy After Having Unprotected Sex at the End of Her Period, Taking an Emergency Contraceptive Pill, and Experiencing Side Effects?

Female | 20

Taking emergency contraception i pill within the given timeframe reduces the risk of pregnancy, but it's not 100% effective. Withdrawal bleeding after taking the pill is a positive sign, but side effects like nausea and headache can occur. If the symptoms worsen she should see a doctor.

My age is 20. I am a female. My weight is 32 kg and height is 5'2''.i was tested positive for pregnancy. I tried to do medical abortion. I took 1 mifepristone by swallowing. After 24 hours- 800mcg misoprostol vaginally. And 3 hours after that 400mcg misoprostol vaginally and more 400mcg misoprostol with 3 hours interval. Took total 5 doses of misoprostol like this including the first dose of 800mcg. After that my gestational sac came out in the morning while i was sitting on toilet. But i did not bleed at all. My pregnancy tissues and placenta did not pass too as i did not bleed before or after passing the sac. The embryo was inside the fluid like white colored sac. I was 12 weeks pregnant. Its now 36 hours and i did not bleed still. Should i wait for my bleeding to start? I took more misoprostol doses after my sac passed to start my bleeding but did not work. Will all the pregnancy tissues will come out naturally? Will my bleeding start naturally after some days? Will my pregnancy tissues and placenta pass if i wait? a doctor told me to use 2tab Co-Amoxiclav 625mg PO bid for 1week, 2tab metronidazole 400mg PO tid for 1week. this medicines are for infection. Also, do i have risks of having retained placenta issues such as hemorrhage? Or i don’t have the risk as i didn’t bleed at all yet? Will the placenta come out when bleeding will happen naturally after waiting ? i am confused and also very worried.
