How to treat acne scars and dark spots at 26?

Patient's Query

I am 26 years old female and had acne scar on forehead and near by eye and had dark spots on both near by eyes.

Answered by Dr. Anju Methil

Acne scars on your forehead might be the case with you and dark spots around your eye region as well, it seems. The surface of the skin is said to be deteriorated by the scars, while dark spots may result from sun exposure or overly treated skin. If you want to repair your skin, you can choose products with firm yet mild ingredients such as retinol or Vitamin C. Sunblock will protect your skin and will be a part of your sun safety precaution.

LINEATOR & LYCOMIX Q10 BOTH MEDICINE IS SAME.

Male | 39

Lineator and Lycomix Q10 never will be the same. They are quite different. Lineator is a medicine for treating upset stomach and relieving acid reflux. Lycomix Q10, on the other hand, is a supplement that contains the active ingredient Coenzyme Q10. It is mostly taken for improving heart health and for boosting energy. Don't forget to consult your doctor to determine if new drugs and/or supplements are right for you.

Pigmentation is not treated quickly. It takes a while for treatments to work. But you can visit a dermatologist and discuss this. Based on your particular condition, he may suggest some alternative treatments that may work for you like chemical peels, laser treatments, topical creams etc. Hope this helps.

You should see a dermatologist. This may indicate a skin problem or an infection. Since a dermatologist will be able to diagnose the problem correctly and offer appropriate treatment.

Can I take omniclav 625 and oflox oz tablets in gap of one hour

Female | 30

Have in mind that Omniclav 625 and Oflox oz are antibiotics. The accurate methods to use it are necessarily by doctor's prescription. Waiting 1 hour before taking the other may not be the best idea. You should take care of following the directions to their specified methods of administration.

I am 20 years old and over 6 years the right side of where hair do grow in my private part do breath ones i breath, and it do swell up, with no pain.

Male | 20

You may have a hernia. This occurs when internals are pushed through a weak part in a muscle. Although there is no pain now, it should be examined by a doctor. They may advise treatment such as an operation to repair the damage and avoid further problems.

I am a 28 year old male and I had a bump to appear under my lip like a week ago. I’ve had cold sores before and the area were the bump appeared had a burning sensation before it appeared I point some cold sore ointment on it but then assumed it was just a pimple and attempted to bust it and clear fluid drained from it but it came back and it seems like it’s getting smaller but I want to make sure of what it really is ….I would like to send a picture and get your opinion

Male | 28

You may have a cold sore outbreak. Cold sores are the result of the herpes simplex virus which can cause burning, bumps, and fluid-filled blisters on or around the lips. Trying to pop a cold sore can make it worse. You can utilize antiviral creams or ointments to help it heal faster.

hi, i’m a 19 year old young woman. Starting in September 2024, I started noticing a pinkish tinge on my cheeks, primarily on my left. I stopped using blush at first, thinking it was an allergic reaction to my makeup. But then the redness became more pronounced and spread to both cheeks. For a long time, it was even on both cheeks, and it gradually became more noticeable, and the texture became a bit rough. I was very bothered by this appearance and couldn't understand why it was getting worse; it made me very nervous. I then went to many different doctors, but the doctors at the public hospital prescribed me ridiculous products that didn't suit my skin type. With each doctor's prescription, the skin got worse and more noticeable. My last visit was a month ago, and I was told I had rosacea. But with the facial cleansing foam and rosacea cream he prescribed, my skin is now much worse. Rosacea is extremely visible, turning red. My right cheek is more prominent again, and it's not just on my cheekbone; it now seems to be all over that cheek. I really don't know what to use or do.

Female | 19

From your description, it does sound like you may have rosacea. This condition can cause redness, flushing, and even changes in skin texture over time. Sometimes certain products or triggers can worsen it, as you've noticed. What I'd recommend is simplifying your skincare routine. Stick to gentle, fragrance-free products and avoid anything that could irritate your skin further. It might also help to identify and avoid triggers like spicy foods or extreme temperatures. If the current treatment isn't working. There are other options we can explore together. Let's work on finding a solution that suits your skin type and helps manage your rosacea effectively.

Male | 24

Sometimes, you could suffer from itchy skin after a bite. The animal has to do with its saliva. See if there is a change in the area of the bite and wash it regularly to avoid any possible severe infection.
