Is low beta hCG 14 days post missed period normal?
I am 28 year female .i have some pregnancy related issues today doctor said beta hcg is very low after 14 days of confirmation and last period missed

Answered on 30th May '24
If your beta hCG levels are low after 14 days of confirming you’re pregnant or after missing your period, this could be a problem. Some signs might be spotting, cramping, or not feeling as pregnant (sore breasts). An ectopic pregnancy or early miscarriage could cause the level of hCG to drop too much. Make sure to see your doctor again so they can check and tell you what next steps need to be taken.

I got my period on aug 6th after four days I have taken unwanted 72 pill... Later after 10 days I got light spotting.. usual as per cycle I should get my next period in sep 1st week it's almost sep 20 still no periods just for doubt I did pregnency test it shows negative..what to do now .. is it common or I need to consult a doctor
Female | 26
After taking a morning-after pill like Unwanted 72, one can expect to see changes in one's menstrual cycle. The pill, for example, may cause light bleeding or a delay in the period. Stress, hormonal imbalances, and other health conditions may also contribute. If you're concerned, wait a little longer and see what happens. If your period still doesn't come, see a gynecologist for advice.

I am 28 years female pregnant 10 weeks i think . My last period started at march 8 . The first few weeks i had back pain period like pains and breast pains . Now i only have breast pain. Is it normal?
Female | 28
Having symptoms like back pain, period-like pains or breast pain is completely normal but should not get you worried in the first weeks. While some indicators might slowly decrease or change, not necessarily the same are experienced on the other hand. Breast pain occurring alone is fine. Your body might be adjusting to the changes because of the hormonal fluctuations. Give yourself time to relax, stay hydrated, and have a balanced diet. If you have any doubts, you should always refer to a gynecologist for proper advice.

Taking a pregnancy test is the first thing you should do if you think you missed your period after unprotected sex. If your test gives a positive result, make an appointment with an OB/GYN right away. However, if the test is negative, and you still have not had your period after seven days, you should also visit a gynecologist to figure out what could be causing the delay.

How long does Misoprostol and Mifepristone stay in your blood? For how long is it detectable and in which test is it detectable?
Female | 17
Misoprostol and Mifepristone remain detectable via bloodwork for days after use. The test could show traces up to seven days post-medication. Expect nausea, cramping, bleeding – typical effects. Severe symptom onset demands medical attention promptly. Closely adhere to gynecologist's guidance. Attend all follow-up appointments as scheduled without fail.

I am a 14 year old female who has Poly Cystic Ovary syndrome & my period has not came yet.
Female | 14
PCOS means that your hormones are a little off balance which causes small cysts to grow on your ovaries. As a result, this may make your periods irregular or you could miss them altogether. Therefore, you must talk to a gynecologist about it. They’ll be able to help with managing symptoms and coming up with a plan that suits only you.

Naturally, a woman may have varied menstrual patterns. But if you are having difficulty conceiving and have doubts about long unexplained periods, you should not neglect this and seek advice from a gynecologist. With any fertility concerns, a fertility specialist should be seen for more specific assessment and counseling.
