You may have a skin infection on your penis cap, which can occur after shaving. The bumps which get transformed to open wounds and are spreading could be a sign of a bacterial or fungal infection. Even though it's not itching, it's still important to get it checked by a dermatologist. The medicine might be antibiotics or antifungal cream for it to be better. Make sure you keep the area of the body clean and dry to avoid the further spreading of the infection.

Male | 24
It seems like you have a case of redness on the head of your penis which neuroses. But on a bright note, your tests for HIV, HCV, VDRL, and RPR were all negative which is a good thing. The causes of redness may be irritation, fungal infection, or allergy. Seek an opinion from a dermatologist. Your symptoms can vary and they can recommend further tests or treatments for correct diagnosis and proper management.

I have hair loss due to ‘Alopecia’ so doctor told to apply panderm cream is that ok
Male | 28
Alopecia causes hair loss. Panderm cream is not recommended because it contains steroids and can have side effects on the skin, potentially making the condition worse. It's better to see a dermatologist for proper treatment options like topical medications or injections.

I've got like red blister to my penis shaft and pain ?
Male | 29
A red blister on the penis shaft with pain could mean genital herpes. This skin condition often has painful blisters. It's usually caused by a virus. To find out for sure, you should see a dermatologist. They can look at it and give treatment. Keeping clean, not having sex, and reducing stress may help.

Have a toe infection from biting my nail, tried soaking it in warm water for a few minutes and no soloution. It turned from darkish red to pink in about a week. What should u do to remove the infection
Male | 14
Infections can occur when germs enter the skin through a cut or bite. Symptoms that your toe is infected include redness, swelling, warmth, and pain. To treat it, try soaking your toe in warm soapy water for 15 minutes 3-4 times a day. This will help clean the area and reduce swelling. Keep your toe clean and dry, and don’t squeeze or pop it. If it doesn’t improve, see a dermatologist for further treatment.

I am 19 years old. I have a little external hemorrhoids with no symptoms should i consult it to a doctor or it will go itself
Male | 19
Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in the rectum or anus. Common causes include straining during bowel movements, sitting too long on the toilet, or being overweight. Small, painless hemorrhoids are usually not a concern and may go away with home remedies like warm baths, eating more fiber, or using creams. However, if you have pain, bleeding, or discomfort, it's best to see a gastroenterologist for advice on the right treatment.

I have genital warts and I am shy to visit a gynecologist. Please suggest the best treatment.
Female | 25
Genital warts are caused by a virus that is known as HPV. You may see very small wart lumps in the genital area. Treatment modalities can be in the form of topical creams, freezing the warts off, or other procedures. It is prudent to deal with them to stop them from being transmitted and to minimize your chances of developing certain types of cancers. Do not feel embarrassed, and consult a dermatologist for proper treatment.

Hello Doctor, Myself Anjali. I am 25.5 yrs old. I am having severe itching in my private part whenever i go outside in sun.
Female | Anjali
It seems you are facing a heat rash which is a common condition. Your skin gets too hot due to the sun and it can make your skin red, itchy, and throbbing. After a time, you should avoid wearing clothes that are too tight. Make sure to wear cool, loose-fitting clothes. Moreover, always keep below clean and dry when there is a chance of heat rash. Calamine lotion can also be a good option to use to relieve the burning skin. Drinking enough water is important.

I am 17 years old. I don't know if I have melanoma or not. I have quite a large mole(1-2cm). It have a lot pf brown spots on a light background, the border of which is irregular. I have had it for 5 to 6 years, without any change. Now I cannot remember what it looked like, and I feel like it changed a little. I don't know what to do.

Red flags for moles include changes in size, shape, or color, as well as itching or bleeding. If you notice any of these signs, it's important to see a dermatologist right away.

I have some patches in ny face then I have some melasma
Female | 29 year
Facial discoloration can be concerning, and patches may suggest various causes, including sun exposure, hormonal changes, or skin conditions. Melasma often appears as brown or tan patches, usually on the cheeks, forehead, or upper lip, frequently linked to hormonal shifts. To address this, consider using broad-spectrum sunscreen daily, which protects against further darkening. Topical treatments and chemical peels can also be effective; however, it's best to consult a dermatologist for a personalized plan. Their expertise can ensure you receive the safest and most effective care.

My penis have one type of pimple little blood is coming what is it ? How can I treat it..I'm 16 years old
Male | 16
This may occur as a result of the pores being clogged, which may then cause infections. Clean and dry the area properly to avoid further damage. Do not pick or pop the pimple as it may aggravate the situation. Consult a dermatologist for proper treatment.

Me and my girlfriend had sex yesterday and now she feels itching during urination. She has a very dry skin.
Female | 24
It seems that your partner has got a urinary tract infection. Sometimes this happens after having sex. It can give a feeling of itchiness and uneasiness when peeing. The problem can even be worse if the skin is dry. Ensure she takes a lot of water to flush out the bacteria. Wearing loose cotton underwear and using a warm pad can help reduce the discomfort. She should visit a urologist.

I had removed a mole in my face 20 years back because of cosmetic reasons. Now it started reappearing. I want to remove the black spot in my face
Male | 41
It's vital to keep an eye on the location for any changes in size, color, or texture. To get rid of these spots from the aesthetic aspect, you can choose from laser therapy and dermatological interventions that can efficiently address such spots. But I suggest talking to a dermatologist for sure, who will do the correct diagnosis and safe treatments specified to your needs.

Small Nodule on eyebrow
Male | 3 month
A tiny bump near your eyebrow is probably a cyst or a skin tag, which are common and not usually a concern. They can form from a clogged oil gland or a blocked hair follicle. If it’s not bothering you, it’s okay to leave it alone. However, if it grows bigger, changes color, or starts hurting, it’s best to have it checked out.

Namaste sir, I am Hariprasad getting rash on my body for nearly one month. I have taken treatment from a skin doctor. For time being it appears to cure. But the problem is the reddish rashes circulating in my body. The swelling appears sometimes at thies, sometimes on the back side, sometimes back side of the neck. sometimes ittiching in head also. At the beginning I thought this because of spider bite. Now whom to consult and what types of tests required. Please suggest me sir.

You seem to have a lingering rash that's swollen and itchy in some areas of your body. These signs might link to allergies, infections, or other skin issues. To pinpoint the cause and get proper care, visit an allergist or dermatologist. They may suggest allergy tests or skin biopsies to identify what's behind your rash. Diagnosing and treating it early on could help ease symptoms faster.

i have white patches all over body and between fingers my skin looks like old people like snake skin i apply oil to qll parts daily to hide patches how to rectify this
Male | 32
Epidermal psoriasis can make your skin look like a puzzle with indented edges. It is not always the case that you get white spots between your fingers. Covering flares with oil is not a good idea because it doesn't address the trigger. To address this problem, you should visit a dermatologist who can guide you on creams, ointments, or other prescribed medications for psoriasis. Washing your skin and reducing the number of patches can be helpful. Using milder soaps and applying moisturizers will also help.

Can hair loss at crown be treated effectively?
Male | 29
Hair loss in the crown area, often called a bald spot, is usually hereditary. Yes, it runs in the family! Other factors like stress, poor diet, and certain illnesses can also contribute. DHT blockers like Propecia (finasteride) and minoxidil (Rogaine) may slow hair loss in men. It's always best to consult a dermatologist for advice.
