Lichen planopilaris is a skin disease that causes the hair follicles on the scalp to be damaged, leading to hair loss and patches on the scalp. Topical steroids are not always effective. You may need other treatments like oral medications or injections to help the existing condition. I recommend you to a dermatologist for a thorough evaluation and personalized treatment plan.

Good day sir , my wife is feeling pain since one week now where they injected her , the spot is hot and little strong, and it's paining her serious ,I have use ice block and close up , but the spot is still hot and little stronger

Female | 20

Your wife is likely to have an infection at the injection site. The symptoms such as heat, pain, and redness are caused when the bacteria get in. The area needs to be cleaned gently and the healthcare provider must be consulted. Antibiotics may be recommended to eliminate the infection. Do not use ice or cover it up without advice as it may aggravate the problem.

Hy good evening sir... My name is Rahif and I am currently working in saudi arabia... I am facing mouth irritation like small bumps under right side of my tounge ,they come and go away but not permanently from last some months also from last some days I am facing oral thrush, can you guide me please..

Male | 27

The little bumps under your tongue that appear and disappear might be swollen taste buds, which don’t pose any danger. Conversely, oral thrush is a result of yeast infection. This is quite widespread and can be cured with antifungal drugs that should be prescribed by a physician. Do not forget to brush your teeth regularly and to follow a balanced diet.

My mother aged 90years suffering from Bullous pemphigoid since 8months.she is getting treatment from Medanta and medicated with Mycoimmune, Bettnasol1mg, Fucibet creame and allegra 180. After discontinuing Betnesol she is getting repeatedly blisters. Kindly can you suggest for her relief. Thanks for your early reply

I suggest you to talk to your doctor about your mother's condition. Based on your mother's condition, he may suggest some different medicine or treatment. And for blisters, making certain lifestyle changes like eating healthy food, taking rest and avoiding certain triggers can prove helpful.

Can my skin color still return after not taking iron supplements for a year

Female | 19

Yes, definitely! Starting iron supplementation can help improve your skin color. Symptoms of low iron, like pallor and fatigue, can show up in your body. Most iron deficiency is due to not getting enough iron in your diet. A balanced diet should include iron-rich foods like spinach and meat. Seek advice from a healthcare professional for suitable recommendations.
