Dry throat is a condition that can be caused by several factors such as dehydration, infections, or even side effects of medications. You should be glad to know that your proactive approach has already been able to help you. To alleviate your dry throat try drinking more water, using humidifiers, and sucking on lozenges. If still the dryness persists, think of going back to your doctor for further assessment.

Female | 29
Motion sickness can strike when traveling makes you unsteady. Feeling dizzy and sick might mean you're experiencing it mildly. On buses, those sensations disrupt your balance. Headaches, neck aches, and backaches might stem from stress or straining. To recover, lie down somewhere quiet and dark.

A sore throat, stuffy ears, cough, and frequent nose blowing suggest you have a common cold or viral infection. These result from your body battling the virus. To improve, rest well, stay hydrated, and use over-the-counter meds for relief. However, if symptoms persist or worsen, visit an ENT specialist.

It's been a month for me Sore throat and yellow and white bump's on the inner wall of the throat like pharyngitis What causes it It only hurts a little while swallowing and it feels like there is something on the inner wall of the throat I'll smoke little bit and I'm worrying about this is cancer can you please explain
Female | 25
You might have pharyngitis, which is inflammation and swelling in the back of your throat. The yellow and white bumps could be pus pockets, often caused by viral or bacterial infections. Smoking can irritate your throat and make things worse, so it's a good idea to stop for a while. To soothe your throat, drink plenty of fluids, gargle with warm salt water, and avoid smoking. If the problem doesn’t improve, it’s best to see an ENT specialist for further advice and treatment.

I was using airdopes from past one year .I m facing problem now . Sometime i found difficulty in talking my voice doesn't clear
Female | 19
Your vocal cords seem irritated, resulting in hoarseness. Prolonged airdope usage could be the culprit. To recover, rest your voice completely. Drink plenty of fluids. Avoid whispering or raising your voice. If it persists, take a break from airdopes, letting your vocal cords heal. Consult an ENT doctor if the issue continues.

Male | 54
Vocal nodules are injuries akin to calluses on the vocal cords that can be caused by either overusing your voice or speaking improperly. The result can be a hoarse or unclear voice. Fortunately, the result of the cancer test is negative. A voice therapist, avoiding vocal strain, and the rest of the voice can help you improve your voice.

My right side of tonsil is bigger than left side from last one year but since last year it was painless but from last one week it's pains while eating and swallowing and some white patch are also came there .
Male | 21
You might have tonsillitis, where your tonsils (the two lumps at the back of your throat) become swollen and inflamed. This can be caused by bacteria or viruses. The inflammation could be why you feel pain while eating and swallowing, and the white patches indicate an infection. It's important to see an ENT specilaist, as they may recommend antibiotics to treat the infection. Meanwhile, drink plenty of fluids and avoid very hot or spicy foods.

I am a 15 year old male and for the past 2 or 3 days I have had pain in my left semi-outwards upper ear. It feels sort-of like a bump and doesn't constantly hurt but hurts more if moved or touched (finger, airpod, etc.). It's not a sharp pain or anything, it has been more of a pressure-like pain at times. It's right below the surface and not in my inner ear. What might this be?
Male | 15
You may have an external ear infection, commonly known as “swimmer’s ear.” Signs and symptoms of it could be pain, which may worsen when touching the outside of the ear or tugging on the earlobe, as well as a sensation that your ear is full inside. Water trapped in the ear or skin irritation can cause this infection. You could help yourself feel better by trying to keep your ears dry and taking nonprescription pain relievers. However, if the pain doesn’t go away or becomes severe, you should see a ENT specialist.
