There are many treatment options available to help address your concerns. You can choose from a basic skincare routine to more involved treatments such as laser treatments, chemical peels, light therapy, micro-needling, and laser treatments for acne scarring. These will work by stimulating new collagen in your skin, which can help reduce the appearance of scars. You can look into chemical peels, laser treatments, and light therapies for hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. These treatments can help to break down pigmented cells and stimulate new cell growth, which in turn can help reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation. For dullness, you can look into facial treatments such as microdermabrasion, which can help to exfoliate your skin and reduce dullness. Cost of these treatments can vary widely, depending on the type of treatment you choose. It is best to consult with a dermatologist to get better treatment options.

Hello dear doctor, I had an accident like 10 days ago, my leg got burnt because it touched the silencer, the burnt area turned completely white, and day after day, it released blood, yellow liquid, and its fresh everyday, its not even healing, im applying ointment called Quench, but it just dries over it and nothing is helping, I can't even walk, I really need help on what to do, should I apply any other ointment? Leave it open? Or what?
Male | 16
It seems that the burn is rather extensive and does not heal well. I would suggest early consultation with a dermatologist or burn specialist. Do not use any more cream and let the wound dry. It is essential to keep the wound well cleaned, dressed and treated. Seek medical help at the earliest.

I am 22 year old woman l was using skin lite cream for past few months and now my face got burned and my face has two colours how to get rid of this problem
Female | 22
Skin irritation and pigmentation changes could be causing the two different colors. To solve this, stop using the cream right away and use a mild moisturizer instead. Also, always apply sunscreen before going out into the sun each morning or afternoon. If it doesn’t help, see a dermatologist for more advice.

I am an 18 year old female who just moved to college. A few days ago one of my breasts got a red rash around the nipple area and a lump after. Now ot does not hurt and there is no rash but the lump is still there. Now this is happening to my other. What’s the chance this will go away by itself
Female | 18
The problem you might have is a type of eczema, which leads to red rashes and bumps on the nipples. Eczema can be brought on by skin irritation or allergic reactions to things. The good news is that asthma often gets better without treatment by avoiding things like soaps or perfumes that are too strong. Another way is to keep your skin hydrated. If it doesn't improve, it's best to have it looked at by a dermatologist.

I have a fungal infection on my skin such as butt and neck. I thought to change my soap, some doctors suggested me to go with Medimix ayurvedic soap. But the problem is neem don't suit my skin, it starts appearing duller than usual. additionally, I do not want much costly soap name but in a normal range. Will you suggest me some soaps?
Female | 22
You could get relieved by itching, red spots, and peeling sometimes. Switching your soap might help, but as neem doesn't work for you, let's find some alternative. Seek for soaps endowed with the elements such as tea tree or coconut oil. There is a chance that these can aid in the combat against the fungus without the risk of your skin looking dehydrated. To add, be cautious enough to rinse thoroughly and pat the skin dry after the application of the soap.

Can stress cause bruising
Female | 23
Worry does not leave marks on your skin. However, it may cause restlessness. Restless people sometimes scratch or bump into objects. This can result in bruises forming. Feeling tense weakens your body's defenses. A weakened immune system makes bruising more likely. To prevent stress-related bruising, you should find ways to relax. Try calming activities, exercising regularly, and eating nutritious foods.

You are troubled about the possibility of your hair getting thin and breaking away. These can be due to several factors like stress, improper nutrition, or the use of bad hair products. In this way, you would like to eat a balanced diet, deal with stress, and use harmless products for hair treatment. I am 27 year old living in ranchi kanke road , having serious problem of dandruff hairfall and my hair color is changing into white even some part of beard as well. Kindly help me with the treatment.
Male | 27
Dandruff in the scalp is due to excess sebum (natural oil) production along with increased activity of a fungus called Malassezia in the scalp. Antifungal shampoos containing Ketoconazole, Ciclopirox, selenium sulphide can help treat the dandruff. If it is severe, oral antifungals are also prescribed for a short duration. Salicylic acid, coal tar shampoos are also prescribed in case of excess flakiness of scalp. Hair fall may be due to dandruff, nutritional deficiencies, stress or due to genetic factors. It is recommended to visit a dermatologist who can diagnose the cause of hairfall and may suggest treatment accordingly. Trichoscopy of the scalp may help in understanding the nature of the scalp and condition. Nutritional supplements, Capixyl containing serum, Minoxidil solution, oral supplements containing vitamin and minerals are prescribed by the dermatologist to treat the hair loss. Change in hair colour in beard and scalp may be due to nutritional deficiencies or strong hair colours or genetic causes. Dermatologist’s help may be needed to treat the same. Calcium pantothenate containing supplements may help slow down the greying and sometimes restore the colour of hair.

Male | 30
Hair loss can be due to several factors such as stress, unhealthy diet, or hormone variations. It's normal for humans to shed up to 100 strands of hair daily. But if it's a lot more than usual, you might notice bald spots or thinner hair. Eating well, calming your mind, and using hair products that are not too harsh may help to prevent hair loss.

The numerous factors that lead to skin allergies on the backside and legs include irritants, allergenic agents, infection or autoimmune disorders. It is necessary to consult a dermatologist that will conduct sufficiently comprehensive evaluation and suggest adequate options for treatment. Self-diagnosis and self treatment can make the situation only worse complicating it.

I feel itching all over my body and the rashes disappear suddenly after few minutes and again appears after few hours
Female | 17
You may have a medical condition known as hives. They usually cause an itchy rash that comes and goes within a couple of minutes. They are sometimes caused by allergies, stress, or infections. Over-the-counter antihistamines and triggering agent avoidance, like certain foods or products, can help with the itching. If hives are still there or getting worse, a visit to dermatologist would be good.

nodular prurigo from past 1.5 year
Female | 47
Nodular prurigo is a long-lasting skin condition that causes very itchy bumps. These bumps stay for years because scratching or rubbing makes them worse. Creams can help reduce the itching, and it’s important to avoid scratching and keep the skin moisturized. Sometimes, prescription medications are needed, so it's a good idea to see a dermatologist. This condition can cause a lot of discomfort over time, as the urge to scratch makes the bumps worse. A good skincare routine and medical treatment can provide relief.

Hello doctor. I am rohit bisht. I am 18 years old. Please suggest me how to recover and stop hair whitening
Male | 18
Hair going white with age or being genetic is a usual thing. Skin problems and tension also cause this. Do something for yourself if under stress; take deep breaths maybe start doing yoga. Have a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals as they play a crucial role in preventing premature greying. If possible use plant-based dyes because they don’t contain harmful chemicals however; don’t forget to handle your hair gently while dying it so that you may not end up damaging it further.

A rash on your legs seems quite concerning. It might be ringworm, showing circular reddish patches. Ringworm often causes itchiness and burning sensations. Keep affected areas dry and clean. Try antifungal creams from stores, they may help clear it. However, if symptoms persist or worsen, see a dermatologist. Many skin issues are treatable when properly addressed, so there's no need to panic unduly. With proper care, the condition should improve.

It’s been over a week almost 2 weeks the rash I have under my armpits still itch and seems to be not getting better I don’t see my doctor until march 14 and I dont consider this an emergency for me to go to the ER I’ve tried putting on antibodics cream and Benadryl cream and burn relief gel with lidocaine and it seems to not be helping I haven’t shaved or put any deodorant on what else do you recommend I can put on to help with the itching ? Or what else could it be since it’s not getting better
Female | 33
Under your armpits, you seem to have a persistent rash. Your description suggests intertrigo, a fungal infection. When skin rubs together and moisture gets trapped, fungi can thrive. To ease itching, try an over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream. Keep the area clean and dry. Avoid tight clothes. Use a gentle, unscented soap. If the rash persists, your dermatologist may prescribe an antifungal cream.

Lump on the back of neck, has grown in size over 2 years
Female | 22
This could be a cyst or a lipoma (a harmless fatty growth), among other things. If you feel pain, notice changes in skin color around it, or find that it grows rapidly please see a dermatologist immediately for necessary investigations. You may have to undergo biopsy or surgery for removal depending on the doctor's recommendations to secure your health.

These symptoms can sometimes be caused by conditions like dehydration, oral thrush, or even a skin condition. It's nice that you took the anti-fungal medicine, however, if it did not work, there might be another problem. Schedule an appointment with a dermatologist so they can evaluate your symptoms and give you the most appropriate advice and treatment. Also, this thing can be relieved by water intake which is very important in this.

I have a small black spot on the top of my right wrist. I don't know how to say it. It has a structure like tiny dots around it. But it doesn't hurt. It's normal as always. It's been coming for two months now Also on my left hand, I had a small cut about a month ago. It has healed but there are small dots around it like on the right arm.I did not take any medicine for this. I used a powder for sweat rashes on my neck. It seems to me that this has something to do with it.
Male | 22
The black spot with the tiny dots around it you are describing may be a mole or a freckle. The dots that are near the cut that is healed might be either scars or pigmentation changes. The powder that you use for your sweat rashes on your neck may not be the main cause of these spots. However, it is still important to keep the area clean and moisturized. It is better to see a dermatologist if the problem worsens or you are noticing more changes.
