It started with an itch and I constantly scratched it and it got red inflamed and possible signs of infection!
Female | 22
You might be struggling with a skin problem called dermatitis. What is common is to scratch the itch often. It will make the skin red and inflamed. In the case of an infection, the signs can be warmth and pus. Scratching should be stopped, and the area kept clean. A gentle moisturizer can work. If it doesn't get better, visit a dermatologist.

Hair problem and Skin problem
Male | 30
If you’re dealing with hair problems like losing hair or having it thin, one possible factor could be stress, poor diet, or it running in your family. Hormonal imbalances, allergies, and not washing your face enough could cause acne or eczema. Don’t scrub too hard when cleaning, and stop picking at blemishes. You can also visit a dermatologist for your issues.

I ave been suffering from staphylococcus aerus so for 7year now after treatment and medication it will reoccur I don’t know what else to do okay I want to lab last month it’s still there I can send you the if you want maa I ave taken injections now am taken augmenting quaclave as doctor prescribed to me my friends brother that is medical doctor in abroad said I should stop wasting money I should browse the internet google proved to me that vancomycin is the best injections for stubborn staph but am having double mind it won’t work maa plsss advice me on what to do thanks GOD bless
Male | 25
Staphylococcus aureus often leads to skin infections, boils, and even more serious problems such as bloodstream infections. It's caused by bacteria that may be hard to completely remove from the body. If the usual treatments like augmentin were ineffective in getting rid of the infection, vancomycin recommended by your friend is worth considering. Vancomycin is an antibiotic usually used as a last resort for persistent staph infections, especially those that do not respond to other antibiotics. When using vancomycin, it is important to follow your doctor's advice on dosage and treatment duration.

Hello, I have redness on my nose, I would like to get rid of it, as its not the same colour and it looks ugly. I kinda know why its red. I had erythema multiforme, after someone drank from my water bottle and i got herpes simplex, i had red dots on my hand, knees, elbows, and one on my nosebridge now its gone, but ever since i have a discolored nose. The top where it connects to the forehead is white and below its a red colour, what can I do to get back the original colour of my nose, is there any medication that can help?
Male | 21
That redness on your nose might be leftover swelling. Don't worry though, with some gentle TLC, it should fade. Be sure to moisturize and use mild products. Staying out of harsh sunlight (and SPF!) will also keep discoloration away. It may take time, but your skin will heal.

Female | 23
For whiteheads, you can use retinoid cream or gel. And for large pores, exfoliating scrub or a clay mask can be helpful as they help reduce the size of pores. Moisturizers and sunscreen( atleast 30 SPF) can also be useful to keep your skin healthy.

round like shaped rash and itchy butt cheek, what do i do?
Female | 22
Experiencing itchiness around your bottom? The culprit could be a fungal infection termed ringworm - presenting as a circular, irritating rash. Its emergence often stems from excessive perspiration or inadequate cleanliness of the area. Fortunately, treatment is straightforward: gently cleanse the affected region and apply an antifungal cream or powder. To accelerate healing, opt for loose, breathable undergarments, allowing proper ventilation.

This might be due to many factors such as infections or irritation. Common signs and symptoms consist of redness, pain, and at times discharge. It is important to keep the area clean and dry. Using mild soap and avoiding strong chemicals could be helpful. If it does not get better, consult with an urologist.

I am 18 yo male I'm facing balanitis for more than a week now and it is becoming sever day by day one day it reduces and the other day it increases it has become red now and a bit swollen i it's very irritating and giving a burning sensation while washed
Male | 18
This may result from using strong soaps or failure to clean properly below the foreskin; additionally, yeast infections are common causes for such symptoms. Therefore, make sure that you wash with water only tenderly without using any soap as well as keeping the area dry. If this does not help it get better within a couple of days then go see a dermatologist who will give medicine which can cure this problem quickly.

I have blade cut mark on face how should I remove I am feeling from it as a nervous
Male | 26
You have a cut on your face, and it may be making you uncomfortable. Cuts can happen due to accidents or contact with something sharp. However, there is no need to worry. To help it heal properly, keep the wound clean. Apply a thin layer of antibacterial ointment, and cover it with a bandage if necessary. If the cut is deep, appears red, or is oozing, see a dermatologist immediately.

Often, a cluster of boils on the buttock region can be attributed to bacteria or immune system dysfunction. A trip to see a dermatologist or infectious disease specialist is an important consideration when trying to figure out the root cause of your problem.

I am having allergy from sun. Whenever I expose to sun I feel itchy in my whole body. It happened from 2022. I get red bumbs. I can even wear skinny clothes or clothes which aren't cotton. So I wear 2XL or 3XL size cotton tshirt. I went to the Best doctor in my city. And I got to know it's Solar urticaria. He gave me medicine I used to take medicine. And it becomes normal. Now the symptom changed. I am getting red bumps like mosquito bites and I never leave my that part of the body which got the bumps. I always scratch that part. Like I got bumps in my leg closer to foot area and also in foot area 2 weeks ago. I can never concentrate other things. And yes The whole body also feel itchy but the red bump part is more itchy. I can't even go to college or coaching because I always scratch. My doctor is out of city he will return in March. he gave me 2 medicine and lotion but it's not working anymore.
Female | 21
It appears as if you have solar urticaria, which is a state of allergic conditions from the light. The symptoms you are suffering from are related to this condition and they can be so-called red bumps and itchiness. I suggest you look for a dermatologist who deals with the disease of solar urticaria.

Stress, poor nutrition, hormones, or genetics could be causing the problem so ensure that you eat well-balanced meals, find ways to relax, and use mild hair products. If the situation doesn’t improve within a few weeks then it would be best for you to see a dermatologist about it.

I have some bumps from the buttom of head Since 1+year . These are not recovering and not reducing.
Male | 16
These bumps could be a result of a skin condition called folliculitis which occurs when hair follicles are inflamed. To help reduce them, apply warm compresses on the affected area and avoid wearing tight clothing around your head. If they persist, it is important to go see a dermatologist for further assessment and treatment.

Ringworm ho rkha hai 1 yr se thik nhi ho raha tablet bhi bahut kha chuka hu itracenzole or fluconazole or cream bhi laga liya fark hota pr fir se ho jata h please tell me best treatment for my disease
Male | 25
A stubborn fungal infection seems troublesome. Ringworm triggers red, itchy, scaly skin patches. Defeating it proves difficult sometimes. One way: antifungal meds like Terbinafine or Clotrimazole, used consistently over weeks. Keep affected areas clean and dry. Don't share personal items. With persisting infection, dermatologists can suggest other treatments.
