Can I remove cyst from ovary while preserving it?
I have a cyst in my ovary .and l would like to remove it .is it possible that I could remove only the cyst and remain the ovary
Gynecologist
Answered on 22nd Aug '24
The surgeon can remove the cyst, and you will feel better afterward. These cysts are like fluid-filled balloons on your ovary. They can cause pain, bloating, and changes in your periods. Doctors can remove the cyst without taking out the ovary. The surgery is usually effective and helps relieve the symptoms.

You should go to a gynecologist for careful evaluation and proper advice on the contraceptive method that will suit you. The improper use of any medication may cause your health to deteriorate and suffer.

I had taken I-pill (Emergency Contraception) after having Protected Sex. Will I be getting any withdrawal Bleeding? Within how many days will I get my Periods post Withdrawal bleeding? My last period was 16-20 Feb I had the pill on 26th Feb My cycle is usually 28-29 days
Female | 22
You consumed an emergency contraception pill following protected intercourse. This action could induce withdrawal bleeding around one week later. Post this bleeding, your menstrual period may occur within roughly one month from your prior cycle. With typical cycles lasting 28-29 days, anticipate your period near late March. If any concerning or irregular symptoms manifest, visit a gynecologist.

I am 21 year old female. I had been experiencing late periods since two months. This month I finally had them. But even after 8 days there is heavy flow with heavy discharge. What should I do?
Female | 21
Heavy flow with lots of discharge after a late period can sometimes happen. Probably, it is due to hormonal shifts or disorders such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Be sure to monitor your symptoms and consult a gynecologist if it persists or if you're feeling unwell.

From past 2 months iam getting brown blood in my periods
Female | 21
Seeing brownish blood in the menstrual flow for the past 2 months can make you feel worried. This can be the case when the darker old blood takes time to leave the body than usual. Besides, some other signs to look for during the menstrual cycle are painful menstruations or period changes. It could be related to hormonal imbalances, stress, or a more serious health condition. Discussing the situation with a gynecologist is the best approach.

Am 21 years old female un able to control my urine since my last intercourse 3 days ago
Female | 21
You may be dealing with a urinary tract infection (UTI). After sex, bacteria can sometimes get into the urethra which causes pain or difficulty controlling urine. Signs may include feeling an urgent need to pee, burning while peeing, and cloudy or bad-smelling urine. UTIs are treatable using antibiotics prescribed by your doctor. It is vital to drink a lot of water to flush out the bacteria. Also, make certain not to hold your pee and empty your bladder whenever you go. If these symptoms sound familiar then it’s time for proper evaluation and treatment from a urologist.

I had sex after the 6th day of my cycle and then took an I-pill after 72 hr of sex but now I am 7 days late. Am I pregnant??
Female | 24
Getting late periods does not always signal pregnancy, so don't worry. The emergency contraceptive pill can disrupt your menstrual cycle, causing delays. Stress, illness, weight fluctuations - these factors impact periods too. If still concerned, take a pregnancy test at home for reassurance.

I have a problem of endometrial thickness
Female | 45
The endometrium stands for the lining of the inside of the uterus. If the thickness is way over the average limit, it can be the consequence of hormonal imbalance. This, in turn, may result in abundant menstrual flow or, even worse, the miss of the period. A gynecologist can prescribe such medications as hormonal therapy or procedures such as dilation and curettage to assist in the treatment of this problem.

I'm 27 years married women. Intercourse time to much watery discharge from my vagina...every time.. because of this our most of attempts was failed...plz tell me any salutations...
Female | 27
Vaginal discharge during sex is a common concern and sometimes it is due to changes in hormone levels, which are part of the body's natural processes. A lack of vaginal protection means discharges can also result in fertility concerns. If you still want solutions, closely monitor your cycle and confer any symptoms with your gynecologist. They may need to check out you through a series of evaluations and prescribe the right course of action after the diagnosis of the cause of the issue.

Why is my period late 2 3 months?
Female | 18
It's normal for periods to be late sometimes. Stress, weight changes, diet, and exercise can all affect your menstrual cycle. Hormonal imbalances like PCOS or thyroid issues can also cause delays. If you experience pain, bleeding issues, or acne, see a doctor. Eating well, reducing stress, and exercising regularly may help regulate your cycle. Periods don’t always follow a strict schedule, as many factors influence their timing. Be aware of what's normal for you, but seek medical attention from a gynecologist if you notice concerning symptoms.

kafi time ho gya period nahi aye weight bhi 84 hai
Female | 31
Irregular periods can sometimes be due to a variety of factors such as stress, weight changes, hormonal imbalances, or the presence of an underlying health condition. Moreover, having a balanced diet and working out regularly is one of the essential ways to keep menorrhoea at bay. Apart from that, you should be able to monitor your stress levels and ensure you’re getting enough sleep. If your menstrual cycle is still absent, or if you have any other strange symptoms, then I would strongly advise you to visit a gynecologist.

I suffer from periods issue ,,when i started weight gaining foods start gaining some weight ,,,blood amount increases in body . I start to suffer from heavy menustral flow
Female | 25
Weight gain could be the reason for your heavy periods. It can lead to hormonal changes, increasing blood volume and resulting in heavier periods. This happens because fat cells produce estrogen, which affects the menstrual cycle. To help regulate your periods, try maintaining a healthy weight by incorporating a balanced diet and regular exercise into your routine.

Hi there My name is Afiyat Nuha and I am 18 years old, recently I have missed my period bt I can't find a reason for that to happen. What should I do?
Female | 18
Not getting a period is something that can happen for a lot of different reasons and it’s okay if this has happened to you once or twice before. If you are worried about not having a period, some things to think about would be stress levels, weight changes (up or down), diet changes, how much you’ve been exercising lately, and even hormone levels.
During the teenage years it’s common for girls to have irregular periods so don’t worry too much if this is the only time it’s ever happened to you. However, if your periods have always been like clockwork and you happen to be sexually active, then yes—there’s always a chance that you could be pregnant.
