I have a spot on the earlobe.Was dark,now is pink.Has a black Punct in the middle.I dont feel pain.What it is?

My sons finger got caught in the door after 1 week under his cuticle it was oozing with puss, 3 weeks later the nail is looking scaly and the cuticle are is swollen. Doctors have seen it and said it’s not infected. He uses his affected finger and isn’t in pain. However the nail looks painful. What can I do to reduces the swelling and redness?
