Is it safe to use hyperneb 3%for steam inhalation?
Female | 22
It is not preferred to use the Hyperneb 3% for taking steam while it has a hypertonic saline solution that is for nebulization therapy. The symptoms you mentioned, such as hoarseness, difficulty speaking, and ear pain, could be post-viral laryngitis. It is one of the possible post-viral complications following a viral infection like COVID. Make sure to rest your voice, drink plenty of fluids, and steer clear of irritants such as smoking. If the symptoms do not go away, it is a good idea to visit an ENT specialist for a more detailed examination and treatment.

Sir, my ESR is 64 or there is infection in the right region in the x-ray, do I have TB? And I am on antibiotics (IV Fluid) but the infection has still not gone down, so what should I do next?
Female | 23
You expressed worry about tuberculosis. TB affects blood test results like ESR, causing high readings. It creates infections visible on X-rays too. However, these signs are not exclusive to TB. Various infections or diseases produce similar effects. The antibiotics not clearing the infection is concerning. It suggests the need for different medication or further tests. I have a cold or flu or covid and my asthma is a lot worse than it has ever been. I am wheezing constantly and my reliever inhaler is not reducing the wheeze at all. I have a lot of mucus stuck in my chest and constantly coughing does not seem to be getting rid of the mucus and I think the mucus is causing me to wheeze constantly
Female | 34
Wheezing may be due to the mucus in your chest that is obstructing the air passage. The coughing may not be enough to dislodge the mucus. Adherence to your inhaler prescription is crucial. Sipping enough fluids and taking a humidifier can ease the mucus. Get medical help from a pulmonologist if the situation gets worse.

Please, can I find a suitable treatment for you, please?
Male | 31
Lung metastases from cancer can result in cough, dyspnea, and chest pain. The therapy you underwent has been difficult, but it is worrying that the tumor in your right lung has increased so much. In this context, further investigation and possibly intervention such as surgery, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy might be the next step. It is crucial to consult your doctor about your case to determine the optimal path.

Fever and cough since 2days
Male | 23
If you've got a fever and cough lasting 2 days, chances are it's due to a viral infection. Your body increases temperature to fight off the virus internally. Resting up, staying hydrated, and taking acetaminophen eases symptoms. However, worsening issues or breathing troubles require prompt medical attention.

I am having fever and cough for about 30 hours, I am taking paracetamol, I am feeling relief for 4-5 hours, then I am waking up like this, and I am also coughing.
Male | 24
It could be a respiratory infection that is giving you a fever and cough. Such infections can be due to viruses and bacteria. Paracetamol can reduce your fever usefully, while coughing is your airways' way of trying to clean themselves. Encourage your body to be healthy by drinking lots of fluids and getting enough sleep. If the last couple of days haven't been the best for you and you feel even worse than before, then it is time to consult a pulmonologist.

Hello this has been going on for 9 months already It started but heaviness and hardness in breathing and usually having to take deep breaths Also had heart pain I did ecg , ct scan , both came clear Also have recurring mouth ulcers , which happen very often , have a feeling of being sick most of the time , and of fatigue which is the worst of all symptoms , and affects my everyday life ! Can have slight throat aches too that happen from time to time but don’t stay for long or stay for a short period of time Been prescribed magnesium but never really helped Was prescribed antidepressants too but i doubt it would help Took a course of pills and stopped This thing is affecting my everyday life and i would really be thankful if someone helps me solve this thank you
Male | 23
What you have described, such as breathing difficulties, heart pain, mouth ulcers, feeling sick, fatigue, and throat aches might be a condition like anxiety, stress, or vitamin deficiencies. It's great that your ECG and CT scan showed no issues. Healthy lifestyle choices are great but they can also help to ease the symptoms of stress, maintain a balanced diet, stay hydrated, and sleep enough. If the symptoms persist, visit a pulmonologist.
