Answered on 15th Oct '24
Itchy skin with boils in the vaginal area can happen for a few reasons. Sometimes, an infection called folliculitis causes it. Or, a skin issue like eczema may lead to this problem. Keeping the area clean and dry is key. Cotton clothes help. Also, avoid wearing tight clothing. If the itching and boils bother you, see a gynecologist. They can give the right treatment.

What does it mean when I have a dark brown discharge 2 days before my period
Female | 23
A dark brown discharge can happen sometimes before your period. It usually happens when old blood mixes with vaginal discharge. This may be caused by hormones changing or leftover blood from your last period. If you're worried, write down your symptoms and talk to a gynecologist. Always keeping track of your period can help.

I m suffering from yeast infection which is troubling me with itching, soreness and white discharge. Please help
Female | 31
Yeast infection is quite common and can cause itching, soreness, and white discharge in your private parts which can make you feel uncomfortable. It usually occurs due to an imbalance of the yeast in the body. This may be because of things like antibiotics, a weak immune system, or wearing tight clothes. To feel better, try over-the-counter antifungal creams or pessaries. You should also keep the area clean and dry, wear cotton underwear, and avoid perfumed products. If your symptoms don’t improve after this, visit a gynecologist for more advice.

I'm sher from Pakistan. We have been 4 years being married but my wife couldn't conceive, according to doctors, the eggs problem.. !
Female | 28
I recommend you to see a gynecologist or a reproductive endocrinologist for consultation. They will be able to find out the reason for your wife being infertile and will offer different possible solutions. If it comes to egg concerns, then the fertility doctor can recommend some assisted reproductive techniques such as egg donation or IVF.

I want to remove copper t, can you tell me the changes of the removal copper t
Female | 32
Copper IUD removal might result in the introduction of abnormalities into your menstrual cycle, including heavier periods or cramping, as your body is trying to adjust itself. These side effects are typically short-lived and disappear within a few weeks. The main reason for removal is the discomfort or individual decision about contraception. Therefore, it is necessary to examine one's period, for defects, and report unusual signs. Severe pain or prolonged changes sometimes are an issue you should a gynecologist about it.

A variety of things can cause irregular periods, including hormonal imbalances, stress, significant weight changes, or conditions such as PCOS. Cycles are usually a little unequal – if this persists though, it might be worth talking about with your gynecologist. They’ll be able to work out why and what to do next.

I have no periods from 5 month.dr.had given tablet for getting periods.I am eating papaya since 3 days along with tablet.no period yet.so when will I get periods
Female | 35
Forgetting periods for 5 months is worrying. Consuming papaya won't fix the reason behind it. Possibly stress, hormones out of balance, or a health issue. The doctor prescribed medication might take time. Watch closely for other warning signs and check back with the gynecologist.

I want get pregnant but at the end month periods starts
Female | 28
Experiencing menstruation towards the end of a cycle can indicate that ovulation might not be occurring regularly, which is crucial for conception. Factors such as stress, hormonal imbalances, or underlying health conditions could be contributing to this pattern. To enhance your chances of pregnancy, consider tracking your ovulation, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and managing stress. Furthermore, seeking advice from a gynecologist can provide you with first-hand information and a path specific to your body.

I am a 26 year old female. I discovered fibroadenomas in my breast when I was 18. I have 8-9 lesions in each breast, not big ones. I get them checked every year. Is this something I need to be worried about?
Female | 26
It is good that you check your breast lumps every year. Fibroadenomas are growths in the breast that are not cancer. You may feel a lump or see changes in breast shape. These lumps happen when gland and tissue cells grow too much. Most times, no treatment is needed if the lump does not grow or hurt. Keep seeing your doctor each year, and you will be okay.

Will ipill work after 8 days of unprotected sex?
Female | 21
The I-pill sounds like it could be used as emergency contraception, but you really should take a pregnancy test. This is the deal: It works best within 72 hours and becomes less effective over time. Eight days later, its capability is minimal. Preventive medicine is always better than a cure - if you are anxious about pregnancy results then consult with a gynecologist for more help!

Ma'am, My Average Menstrual cycle 30 days hai, Main protection use korta hu, lekin 15 no. din mai jab sex kor rahatha pertner ka protection fat Gaya and semen undar chala gaya. Uske 2 ghonte ke undar unwanted 72 liya. Pregent hone ka chance hai.
Female | 20
If taken immediately after unprotected sex, unwanted 72 prevents pregnancy. It is still possible to get pregnant but chances are good that taking Unwanted 72 will make you not get pregnant. Watch out for any unusual signs and and consider consulting a gynecologist for advice.

I am a nineteen year old female, my periods are regular but recently have taken a turn for the worst. It's become way heavier this year and the symptoms are probably painfully unbearable
Female | 19
When someone has menorrhagia, their periods are heavier than normal. Young women commonly have this condition. Some symptoms are cramping bad, feeling tired because you are losing too much blood, and having to change pads or tampons every hour for 2-3 hours in a row. The hormonal imbalance might cause it; so could uterine fibroids or something like endometriosis among other things. Proper assessment by a gynecologist should be done who will recommend treatment options.

I have a miscarriage and have been passing out the blood what can I take
Female | 33
It’s scary to pass out so much blood, but it’s normal after a miscarriage. This happens when the body gets rid of everything from the womb. If you feel dizzy or weak, lie down and lift your legs. Drink plenty of fluids and have a lot of sleep. In case you lose too much blood or start feeling very sick, consult a gynecologist right away.

Am 5 weeks pregnant yesterday I did scan but I saw no fetal pole plus I have a PID,can u get treated without getting to know the kind of pic cause taking a pelvic exam will for sure waste more time,am really worried why will I be pregnant and no baby is growing inside of me and the gestational sac is okay
Female | 24
It’s quite common not to see a fetal pole at five weeks. Pregnancy can be affected by PID. Symptoms might include pain in your pelvis, unusual discharge from your vagina, and burning when passing urine. The causes are probably infections. Taking antibiotics should treat it but you may need more tests done. You are normal to be worried so make sure you keep talking to your gynecologist.

I had laporatomy surgery for ileum herniation in 2014. I had vertical midline incision in this surgery now is it safe to become pregnant
Female | 25
The operation that you had for ileum herniation with a vertical midline incision in 2014, therefore, is so vital to be taken into account. Be sure to get the consent of your gynecologist before trying to conceive. They will offer you suggestions for your specific needs. Perhaps they want to know if your injuries are healed and if it's safe for you and your child.

I am 26 years female and I'm having prolactation for 1 year now, I'm not pregnant nor breastfeeding a child and I experience pain during sex
Female | 26
You might have hyperprolactinemia. What happens is this condition leads to the body producing too much of a hormone called prolactin, causing lactation and pain during sex. There are several possible causes, including some medicines you could be on; thyroid problems, or even a little tumor in your brain somewhere. I would advise that you see a doctor as soon as possible.

Pragncy releted question
Female | 27
If you are expecting a possibility of pregnancy, then inspect for a few of these symptoms to make sure. A few of these symptoms may include missing your period, feeling nauseous or vomiting, being tired all the time, and having tender breasts. If you think you are pregnant, you can just use a home pregnancy test to confirm it. If you do the test and it comes out positive, don't forget to see a gynecologist for proper care and guidance.
