I'm a 41 year old male, i have a white patch on my inner cheek with rashes, that cause a bit of a burning sensation. I smoke quite regularly. My dental health is not that great either.
Male | 41
You appear to be dealing with a disease called oral leukoplakia. The condition can come as a result of smoking and not having good dental hygiene. The main signs are the appearance of the white patch and rashes together with a burning sensation. It is important to throw away tobacco and take care of the mouth more effectively. In addition, take a dentist's appointment to make sure you get the proper treatment.

The back of my neck has swollen a lot and I am not feeling any pain at all, so what should I do for it? My name is Hema Maurya and I am 18 years old.
Female | 18
It seems your neck is a bit swollen but you are not feeling any pain. This could be caused by an infection or a swollen gland. Sometimes, it can occur without any serious reasons as well. However, the priority is to have a doctor take a look at it to be on the safe side. They may have to conduct some tests to be able to tell what is going on.

Is there any treatment to treat dark patch on my face
Female | 23
It is advisable to take the help of a dermatologist who deals with skin conditions and works to provide an accurate diagnosis and the right treatment. Do not use over-the-counter drugs, or self-medicate. They may worsen the condition.

Fee would depend on the kind of treatment you opt for, and which in turn will depend on the nature of your pigmentation (whether it is hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation), and the extent to which this disorder is prevalent (that is how light or dark your skin is), other skin issues can come at play too. I AM 29 YEAR MALE MY NOSE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE MOLE WHAT SHOULD I DO
Male | 29
Moles on your nose seem ordinary and usually don't cause harm. Their appearance could stem from genes or being exposed to sunlight. If these moles maintain their size, shape, and color, there's typically no reason for concern. Still, monitoring them closely and using sunscreen to shield your skin remains advisable. If any changes occur, consult a dermatologist.

You might be suffering from eczema. Eczema is an inflammatory skin disease that can make you itchy and cause red bumps on the skin, which even bleeds if you scratch them hard. Different agents such as stress, allergies, or skin irritants can be the cause of it. You can also use skin gentle products and avoid triggers to achieve affability along with skin moisturization to help you. If the symptoms persist, consider discussing with a dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment options.

"Hi, I’ve noticed a darker patch on my wrist that seems slightly raised. It hasn’t changed in size or color, and there’s no itching or bleeding, but I’m worried about it. Can you help me understand what it might be?"
Female | 16
Moles typically appear as dark spots on the skin. While some moles may be slightly raised, if they remain stable and don't change in appearance over time, it's generally a good sign. you can always consult a dermatologist for a better opinion.

Hi, i am 29 year old. i have started getting pigmentation around my right eye and left cheek. which treatment do you recommend? and please suggest some good serum , i have tried a few but none working on my skin. Thank you!
Female | 29
Pigmentation around the eyes may be due to excess melanin in the skin, shadowing effect due to deep set eyes or due to thin skin around the eyes. Pigmentation around the eyes may be due to excess eye muscle strain, inadequate sleep, iron or vitamin B12 deficiencies, thyroid hormonal imbalance or constitutional. Dark circles may extend on to the cheeks leading to pigmentary demarcation lines. However if it is only on one side any trauma or underlying ophthalmologic cause should be ruled out with an Ophthalmologist’s opinion apart from a Dermatologist’s consultation. Topical cream/serum containing vitamin C, retinol, haloxyl, kojic acid , glycolic acid, etc in lower concentrations are recommended. Sunscreens, using sun glasses, anti glare screens on desktop/laptop etc may prevent further worsening of the condition. Laser toning with Q-switched yag laser, mild chemical peels may help. If the cause of dark circles is due to hollowness under the eye, hyaluronic acid fillers may help. For more help please visit dermatologist near you

It seems like you have a case of redness on the head of your penis which neuroses. But on a bright note, your tests for HIV, HCV, VDRL, and RPR were all negative which is a good thing. The causes of redness may be irritation, fungal infection, or allergy. Seek an opinion from a dermatologist. Your symptoms can vary and they can recommend further tests or treatments for correct diagnosis and proper management.

some allergy suddenly arised from my body it caused my finger and arm swallow
Female | 17
When certain allergies occur, body parts tend to swell. This might have been caused by contact with something like a plant or chemical that does not agree with you. Ensure the affected area is washed properly. To reduce the swelling, you can use an antihistamine. Seek immediate medical attention if things get worse or if you find it hard to breathe.

My boyfriend has an infected wound in his calf which started of as a small itchy spot that later became a red spot and later an infected wound that's made his the surrounding area swollen right down to his ankles. The glands in his groin are now painful too. Please advise what type of antibiotic would be suitable for this?
Male | 41
Your boyfriend may have a severe skin infection that’s spreading. The redness, swelling, and pain—coupled with swollen glands in the groin—indicate that it might be a bacterial infection. To cure this, he may require a course of antibiotics such as penicillin or cephalosporin which can help to fight off the infection. It is important to seek medical attention as soon as possible to avoid further complications.

I have pimples what is the best treatment for pimples and also acne and how to remove tan
Female | 15
Pimples, acne, and tan are usual skin problems. Red bumps are the assets of the pimple, while a bunch of pimples adds up to a pimple. They are the result of both oily skin and dirt on it. The face can be washed twice a day to achieve this. Implements such as benzoyl peroxide can be used to cure them. Tan is dark skin which is the result of the sun. Using sunscreen can prevent this. Getting rid of the tan takes time, use the skin-lightening creams or laser treatments instead.

I am a 17 year old boy. I am uncircumcised. I got to know that by 17, I should be able to pull back my foreskin completely. I tried doing it and after a few painful attempts of pulling my foreskin, I did it. But the head of the penis was red and I got very uncomfortable and painful upon touching the head of the penis. I am worried about it as I have always been conscious and anxious about it. Please help me out. Thank you!
Male | 17
What you are experiencing is a common issue called Balanitis. It's prevalent in boys who were not circumcised. Symptoms consist of redness and pain when the penis head is touched. This can occur due to bad hygiene or an allergy. The best way out is to keep the place clean and dry, avoid harsh soaps, and gently hold the skin back while showering. If it doesn't work, you need to visit a dermatologist to give you further advice.

Factors that may contribute to cystic acne recurrence include hormonal fluctuations, genetic predisposition, and skincare habits. You need to consult with a dermatologist who can evaluate your current condition.

I have Fungal dermatitis on my face, neck & back and it won’t go away. I’m not sure the cause (cessation of birth control, overuse of other products, diet, etc) but when I treat it with anti-fungal products it sometimes diminishes, but keeps returning. This has gone on for 6 months. Can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction?
Female | 32
You may have a persistent form of fungal dermatitis. There are symptoms such as red itchy patches on the back, neck, and face. The fungus does well on the skin in warm places with lots of moisture. The causes can be triggered by changes in hormones, using too much products, or eating habits. Keep the areas clean and dry should be done to solve this problem. It would worsen the condition if heavy oils or creams are applied because of this reason. Also, make sure anti-fungal medications are used as directed only. Do not share personal items like clothes and towels with others if you don’t want them to get infected. If the condition does not go away, please visit a dermatologist.

The hives move around your body and come and go. To feel better with hives, stay away from things that bother you. You can take medicine to stop the itching.
