Is Dark Brown Period Blood Normal After Stopping Birth Control Pills?
I just stopped my birth control pills and got my period. Its my 3rd day and my period blood is still very dark brown, the flow is light and i feel nausea and stomach pain. I cant be pregnant right?

Answered on 23rd May '24
One of the effects that can occur from ceasing to use birth control pills is a change in your menstrual cycle. Dark color of blood flow occurring during periods may be associated with old non-excreted blood. Stomach pain and nausea may not be connected to the menstrual cycle. Such symptoms should be referred to the gynecologist for evaluation and management.

I have took abortion tablet on 20 July period was till 6 days after that it again started in from 14 August and some time flow of period is less some time more still
Female | 29
It is fine that your menstruation period has developed some variations after using abortion pills. Sometimes, the flow can be either more or less than usual. This can be a result of the body’s hormonal level changes. Take it easy and give your body some time to adjust. Keep practicing good hydration and get plenty of rest. If you continue to have concerns, visit a gynecologist.

I want to know more about one depo shot is it possible to get pregnant
Female | 27
The Depo shot is a common birth control method that prevents pregnancy by releasing a hormone that stops the ovary from releasing an egg (ovulation). Without an egg, pregnancy can't happen. While the Depo shot is very effective, there’s a small chance of pregnancy if you miss a shot. If you're late for a shot or concerned about pregnancy symptoms, it's best to take a pregnancy test and consult your gynecologist for proper guidance. They can provide reassurance and the next steps if needed.

Hello I stop birth control before 2 mother but still am not pregnant what shall I do I feel pain breast nipples hurt
Female | 27
Stopping birth control may cause breast and nipple soreness. Once you stop birth control, your body will need time to readjust. Hormonal changes due to this may be the cause of these symptoms. Wait it out a little longer, but if the pain persists or worsens, consider speaking with a gynecologist to ensure everything is okay.

After sex Took pills Then get period After a month missed it
Female | 17
After having sex, taking certain capsules can sometimes alter your menstrual cycle. It's common to have a period after taking these tablets. Occasionally, the hormonal imbalance caused by these pills can lead to missed periods a month later. Symptoms may include irregular bleeding and the absence of a normal period. To manage this, avoid stress as it can affect your menstrual cycle. If the issue persists, seek advice from a gynecologist for proper guidance.

Dear doctor I found my pregnancy test positive 5 days ago ,but unfortunately today I feeling lightly bleeding
Female | 25
Light spotting during early pregnancy happens frequently. This implantation bleeding occurs when the egg attaches to the uterus. It usually isn't concerning and may come around when your period is due. However, rest and avoid strenuous activities to be cautious. Monitor the bleeding closely - contact a gynecologist immediately if it gets heavier or you have severe cramps.

I am 23yrs old. I last slept with my boyfriend on August 27th and got my period on September 15, ended on 18th and my period is 8 days late this month (October)
Female | 23
Occasionally, stress or changes in the daily schedule can cause the period to be delayed. Besides, being physically active or shifting in weight can also be why. If you have unprotected sex, it's good to check if you are pregnant. A home pregnancy test kit will be able to tell you.

I am sujita and I'm 28 years ,I have done my c section delivery 9 months ago recently I removed my copper T Recently 3 days ago But I am suffering lots of pain and feeling burn continuously 3 days Can you suggest me best treatment for me
Female | 28
I see you are enduring great discomfort out of the copper T removal you've recently had which together with pain and burning sensations are often symptoms of your uterus getting irritated or harmed. The most crucial moves are drinking plenty of water and getting relaxed. The inflammation might be relieved by a warm compress. Apart from OTC pain relief will certainly ease your discomfort. Nonetheless, If severe pain consult a gynecologist for proper treatment advice.

Female | Riya
Periods can sometimes be irregular due to various factors like stress, hormonal changes, or lifestyle adjustments. A negative pregnancy test usually indicates that you are not pregnant, but if your cycle is delayed, it's advisable to monitor for any additional symptoms such as cramping or mood changes. If your period does not start soon or you experience significant discomfort, please consider speaking with a gynecologist for tailored advice and potential evaluations. Remember, irregular cycles are common, and many women experience this at some point.

On the 39th day of your menstrual cycle, having 2005 HCG levels is normal during pregnancy. Some common signs at this stage may include feeling sick in the morning, tiredness throughout the day, and sensitivity or soreness in breasts. It shows everything is going well with your pregnancy. Did your period not arrive at 13? No worries, that's normal for some. However, bulimia can impact periods. This eating disorder involves purging after meals. Hello I get my period after 10 days of ipill and after my periods 2 weeks later I get bleeding again and now my periods are skip of this month so I am pregnant or I have not done any intercourse after period
Female | 18
Bleeding can occur after taking emergency contraception like ipill. It messes with your cycle a bit. Stress, hormonal issues, or other factors can also lead to irregular bleeding. If you haven't had unprotected sex since your last period, pregnancy is unlikely. Monitor your symptoms, and if things don't improve or you're worried, visiting a gynecologist is wise.

I have got periods at 15 December but due to my bad health issues my periods stopped at 16 December what the reason is. 13,14 December I am suffering form fever. Then 15 December I have suffered with more fever then I went to doctor and checked then doctor gives me some medicine I take that medicine and my periods stopped in 2 days what the reason is
Female | 24
It is quite ordinary for women to have their menstrual flow affected by illnesses and stress. Such things as high fever or some general health problems can for the time being throw the body's hormonal balance out of order, thus not letting you have your menstrual bleeding. The medication the doctor ordered may be another cause. Make sure you drink enough water and get enough sleep to recover completely. Keep checking on your symptoms, and suppose your periods do not return in a week, or if there are other issues, I suggest seeing a gynecologist for further examination.
