PID is an infection of the female reproductive organs, usually caused by STIs like chlamydia or gonorrhea. However, PID can also be caused by non sexually transmitted infection, like bacterial infections, medical procedures, or bacterial imbalances. Regardless of sexual activity, PID requires medical attention for proper diagnosis and treatment.

It will be your OB-GYN who will figure out the exact date when conception took place. She will provide further guidance during your pregnancy. It is of crucial importance to see a competent specialist, if there is any question of a problem related to pregnancy.

Period is 9 days late, I'm tired, bloated, gassy, headaches

Female | 25

LATE PERIOD could indicate PREGNANCY or HORMONAL CHANGES.... FATIGUE and BLOATING are common PMS symptoms.... GASSINESS is also typical in PMS or DIGESTIVE ISSUES.... HEADACHES could be due to HORMONAL CHANGES or STRESS... Take a PREGNANCY TEST to rule out pregnancy... Manage symptoms with REST, EXERCISE, and a BALANCED DIET... Consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen...

I am an 18 year old female and a couple months ago I broke my virginity and we didn't use a condom, the second time I had sex with this person we used a condom but after the outside of my vergina starts to itch. It would itch every now and then but it wasn't bad. The third time I did it with this person we didn't use any condom and we did it in a spontaneous spot and after that the itching got worse. I don't know what to do could you please give me some advice on how to stop this. (please keep in mind that all 3 times was with the same person. Oh and by the way what I mean by the outside is the clit area)

Female | 18

Yeast infection might be why your clitoris itches. When the pH balance of your vagina changes—usually after having unprotected sex—this can occur. To relieve the itching, try using over-the-counter antifungal creams or ask for a prescription from a doctor. To avoid getting infections, always use condoms during sex.

Hi I have taken pregnancy tests and they’ve come back negative.. I have irregular periods but within the last week I’ve noticed my boobs have gotten harder, my lower tummy is tender and hard, I’ve had awful mood swings and I’m very emotional, and I’m always hungry

Female | 25

Symptoms you may be experiencing can be due to hormonal changes, which may not be indicative of pregnancy. An irregular period can cause the hormone levels to fluctuate, leading to tender breasts, bloating, and mood swings. Stress, diet, and lack of exercise can also be the reasons why your body is affected this way. Try managing stress, eating healthy, and gentle exercise to help balance your hormones.

I had unprotected sex a day after my ovulation and I took contraceptive pills. Will I still get pregnant?

Female | 28

It is possible to prevent pregnancy by taking emergency contraception pills after having unprotected sex. These pills stop or delay the release of an egg from the ovary. However, they do not work all the time. This means that you can still get pregnant. if you have any symptoms such as unusual bleeding or missed period, it is advisable to take a pregnancy test just to be sure.
