Answered on 23rd May '24
Irregular and delayed periods can be caused by various factors, including hormonal imbalances, stress, lifestyle factors, medical conditions, and more. If you're experiencing irregular or delayed periods and it's a recurring issue, some lifestyle changes like maintaining a healthy weight and managing stress can help, as can tracking your cycle. Get a proper diagnosis done by a gynecologist if it's been delayed for too long.

Hello . I had sex with my husband on 11th day of cycle. Initial he has not used condom at the time of ejaculation he used condom so is there any possibility of during precum entry into vagina and getting pregnant
Female | 32
Pregnancy is possible with precum, even without ejaculation inside. This is because precum may contain sperm. Missed periods and nausea are signs of pregnancy. For prevention, consider emergency contraception or discuss options with a gynecologist.

Am Emily 38 of age I have been having some itching in my virginal area and I took some fluconazole tabs then I begun spotting
Female | 38
The fluconazole tabs are causing this vaginitis itch and spotting of menstruation to you. The itching could be a sign of the yeast infection which is treated by fluconazole. Occasionally, the use of fluconazole may cause spotting as a side effect. Your body needs time to recover, and gentle washing of the area is necessary. If they don't go away, you should contact your gynecologist for more instructions.

I am 20 yrs old . On the 28th of august, I had sex. We had unprotected sex. Little did I know, I would be ovulating today. Though he did not release it in me , I have fear that I might get pregnant. What are the chances of pregnancy and would taking a Plan B pill still be considered effective as it is already the 30th
Female | 20
The possibility of pregnancy is slightly higher because he withdrew instead of ejaculating inside you. However, there is always some risk associated with sex without a condom, especially around the time of ovulation. Taking Plan B within 72 hours after unprotected sex can reduce the chances of pregnancy. It is intended for emergencies, not regular birth control. Symptoms of pregnancy may include missed periods, nausea, breast tenderness, and fatigue. Consider Plan B if you're concerned; it will help ease your worries.

You might be going through the early symptoms of pregnancy. A pregnancy test showing a faint line indicates you might be pregnant, but bleeding and vomiting might be the signs of another health problem. Visit a gynecologist and get the answer you need.

I had my last period on the 3rd of last month. I have a 25-day cycle with 4 days of bleeding. I had sex on the 13th and I had a pill within one hour and then on the 15th of that month, I took a pill within one hour, just as a precaution. I started a light bleed on the 20th of that month until the 25th. The expected period date was 30 of the month. But, I still have not got it.
Female | 26
Based on the information you have provided, the pills you took on the 13th and 15th of last month may have affected your menstrual cycle. Contraceptive pills contain high levels of hormones that can disrupt your menstrual cycle and cause irregular bleeding. If you are concerned about a possible pregnancy, you can take a home pregnancy test to confirm. But wait at least a week after a missed period to take the test for accurate results or visit a gynecologist.

Hello I'm 18 years old . A month ago I started taking hormones pills like endsist and krimson 35 prescribed by my doctor. This month instead of having periods I'm having just spotting. Is it serious. I have missed the doses twice or thrice
Female | 18
It's quite common to experience some changes during the initial stage of consuming hormones such as endsist and Krimson 35. Here the spotting you would encounter can be underscored in several different ways. The usual case is that your body is responding well to these hormones. Skipping a few doses could also have an impact on your menstrual cycle. If the spotting is prolonged or occurs along with other symptoms like pain, directly speak to your gynecologist. They will provide the best way to handle it.

I had sex in March. Then there were signs of pregnancy. I cheked with hcg strip. It is negative. I get my period once every 6 months. I have about 3 weeks of my period. I bled in may. It was only 5 days. I started having menstrual cramps after that. At the same time, i had drops of pink blood for about two days. My lower stomach also started to hurt. My stomach is always getting bigger. I have no problem this month. In the second month, i did not feel much discomfort. If i work hard, my stomach hurts. Can i be pregnant? What should i do now?
Female | 21
A negative result implies most likely no pregnancy. Besides the irregular periods, other problems could also give rise to the symptoms you describe. Given your past irregular periods, it may be wise to see a gynecologist to be sure that there aren't any hormonal imbalances or other issues that might be causing the problem.

Girlfriend had sperm on her hand and accidentally touched her vagina on the surface right after washing her hands with tap water. She said her hand was still sticky like.. is there chance of pregnancy. she was on her safe days too.
Female | 19
I would like to tell you not to worry that you will get pregnant under these circumstances. Sperm is vitally short-lived in the wild and the probability of it getting into the vagina and fertilizing the egg is negligible. Although in most cases this should pose no alarm, if you have any atypical symptoms or worries, you should consult a gynecologist for a professional checkup and advice.

I have recently noticed small skin color bumps around my vaginal opening, there is no pain and very little itchy to no itchy at all. I wanted to know if it was serious or normal
Female | 19
Small bumps near your vagina might be Fordyce spots, a common occurrence. They're harmless and typically cause no discomfort or itching. These spots form when glands produce excess oil. To alleviate any itchiness, you could use gentle, unscented soap and wear cotton underwear. However, if you're concerned, consulting a gynecologist for reassurance is advisable.

Heya I am 36 + 4 weeks pregnant i am currently going to be getting my 3rd c section can I ask for to be done before 39 weeks pregnant
Female | 32
You must comprehend the dangers of a cesarean section before 39 weeks gestation. Infants born before this time may experience difficulty breathing and require special attention. I advise discussing with your physician about waiting until after 39 weeks for a safer delivery instead.

When is best to have intercourse to conceive with a 26days cycle my last period was September 26 to 28
Female | 23
Your ovulation model shows a 26-day cycle. The period between 26 and 28 of September is the best time for you to conceive around October 10-11. This is when you are most likely ovulating which means an egg is ready to meet sperm. Observing signs like increased vaginal discharge or gentle discomfort in your lower abdomen which is also called ovulation pain will help you in conceiving. Get the cycle record improved to track faulty periods, thus increasing the odds of successful fertilization.

10 weeks pregnant light bleeding given cyclogest how long will it take to work
Female | 27
Seeing slight blood discharges at the onset of conception can cause anxiety. Cyclogest is a drug commonly prescribed for pregnancy enhancement. It contains the hormone progesterone. This is the hormone that is usually responsible for keeping the pregnancy. For Cyclogest to start working correctly, sometimes one may take a few days. It’s important to follow your doctor’s advice and keep attending scheduled check ups as well. Contact your gynecologist immediately once the bleeding becomes heavy or you start experiencing intense pain.

Hello I have problem I get my period twice in month I could like to know what couse that and what medicine can help me
Female | 27
The body may have imbalanced hormones, which cause this. There could also be problems with the reproductive system. You might experience heavy bleeding or painful cramps. To fix it, you could take pills for regulating periods like birth control or other drugs that will help regulate menstrual cycles. Talk with a gynecologist about what would work best for you.

Misscarraige naturally problem
Female | 19
A natural miscarriage happens when the pregnancy stops without any help. You may bleed heavily, have bad cramps, and pass tissue. Things like gene problems or hormone issues can cause it. Your body will finish the process on its own. This is hard emotionally, so rest and getting support are important.
