I'm 27 year old female,I got married in April 2023 , I got my periods in 28 days but from the 6 months I will get between 30 to 35 days , is it normal or should I consult doctor and I put on weight (93kg)
Female | 27
It’s normal for your periods to change a bit after marriage. Stress or weight gain due to different lifestyles can affect your cycle. Having irregular periods could be because of these. If you’ve gained some weight, it may be a factor. Doing exercises to lose some weight and eating healthier may help in regulating the period. However, if it persists, seek further advice from a gynecologist.

I am 20 years old girl. Will it be safe to use unwanted 72?? Will it still cause pregnancy?? Does use of unwanted 72 hamper my menstrual cycle?? Or any other side effects??
Female | 20
Unwanted 72 is a contraception pill that is taken after unprotected sexual intercourse to mitigate pregnancy risks. It is reliable, but it doesn't ensure total safety. It could interfere with cycles by leading to period irregularity. Adverse reactions such as nausea, headache, or fatigue are possible. Ask a gynecologist about your worries.

Can you please assist me I'm experiencing Hot flushes
Female | 45
Hot flushes might make you experience a sudden burst of warmth, even when not physically active. These feelings usually occur in women near menopausal age. Hormonal shifts cause hot flushes to transpire. To alleviate discomfort, try these tips: wear lightweight garments, utilize a fan, and abstain from spicy cuisine and caffeinated beverages. Remember, consulting with a gynecologist can provide additional guidance and support.

I am 18 years old l have used many medicines for irregular period but I haven't got any changes what should I do??
Female | 18
Stress and hormonal imbalances vary a lot. Also, diet or conditions like female polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) are among the culprits. Monitor your symptoms and then consult a gynecologist to get a proper diagnosis. They are the ones who can give the best treatment advice, which might involve using medications, changing our lifestyles, or doing both.

Female | 19
It's perfectly natural to be stressed about your overdue periods. They may be late due to stress, routine changes, or hormonal imbalances. There could be other causes such as too much exercise, sudden weight changes, or serious health problems. If your period doesn't show up in the next week or two, it would be wise to visit a gynecologist.

why one of my inner vagina lips is a little bit bigger than the other and kind of darker in color
Female | 17
This doesn't typically cause issues or discomfort. It occurs because bodies aren't perfectly symmetrical. However, if you experience pain or discomfort, it could indicate an infection or injury. If it concerns you, consulting a gynecologist can provide more details and reassurance.

I am currently on the Evra birth control patches. I put one on once a week for three weeks and on the 4th week I wear none and get my period. However I am on holidays and forgot to bring my patches. I currently have my week 1 patch on and the time has come to change it, what should i do ?
Female | 18
If you have missed more than 24 hours of the change time that was determined for you, then your protection against pregnancy might not be optimal. It is therefore advisable to use an alternative contraceptive method for the next one week and immediately seek medical attention from your obstetrician-gynecologist. They can also tell you what to do further and ensure that you are still safe from pregnancy.

2 month pregnant Backpain Vomiting Stomach pain White discharge
Female | Chippy
Back pain, vomiting, stomach pain, and white discharge can happen because of pregnancy changes. Back pain may be from the weight gain, while vomiting and stomach pain might be due to morning sickness. The white discharge is normal too. Make sure to rest, drink lots of water, and eat small, frequent meals. If you're worried, always reach out to your gynecologist.

If your menstrual periods are irregular or different from normal, adopting a healthy lifestyle can help. Stress, weight changes, hormonal imbalances, and conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) may be the cause. Start tracking your periods and make an appointment with your doctor for a health check-up. The doctor might suggest lifestyle changes, medications, or additional tests to diagnose the issue. It's important to seek medical advice from a gynecologist for your symptoms.

You may experience belly pain at the 5th month, every person does that. This might be caused by the growth of your baby and the expansion of your muscles apart from this too, your organs have to move so that the baby can get enough space. Try lying on your left side as well as taking some water or even better still have a warm bath. Should there be any increase in ache or appearance of additional symptoms then let your gynecologist know.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to discuss some concerning changes in my menstrual health that have been occurring over the past few months. Firstly, I have noticed that my periods have been absent for the last three months, which is unusual for me. Additionally, I have experienced variations in the color of my vaginal discharge, ranging from white to dark brown, sometimes accompanied by a foul odor. Initially, I believed these changes to be indicative of an impending period, but now I am uncertain
Female | 26
Missed periods, strange discharge – these could stem from many factors. Hormones out of whack, stress piling on, or some underlying health condition might be the culprit. It's crucial to keep tabs on these irregularities and get checked out by a gynecologist. They'll diagnose the issue and get you the right treatment.

Hii, My periods are delayed by 7 days now and I m worried as to why this is the case. Just to make it clear I have not indulged in any sexual intercourse. I usually get my periods by 27-28 th day. I got my last period on 5th April and my this month due was around 3rd of April , it's 10th today and I still have not got my periods. Also there has been a change in my routine from continuous travelling to just being at home for a while now. I just want to know if there is anything to be concerned about and should I consult a doc immediately? Or wait for a while ? And what are your takes on this. Height 5' 2" (157.48 cm) Weight117 lbs (53.07 kg)
Female | 20
It’s pretty normal for periods to be a little irregular, particularly if there have been changes to your routine such as decreased travel. Stress, variations in diet or exercise, and shifts in hormones can also impact your cycle. Since you haven’t had sex, it’s unlikely that you’re pregnant. Wait a bit longer but if it still doesn’t come, I reckon it would be best to see a gynecologist to be sure everything’s ok.

I had sex on 2/3/23 6 days before my period was going to start . The next day I started bleeding lightly some days and heavy some days. Im currently on birth control and take that everyday at 11am. I’m using the bathroom normally with no pain . When I wipe to use the restroom it’s blood. I don’t know what’s going on.
Female | 20
Bleeding after sexual intercourse can have various causes. And since you're currently on birth control and taking it consistently, the chances of pregnancy are generally low. To get a clearer understanding of what might be causing the bleeding, consult with a gynecologist to know why its happening ang get the right treatment.

I am an 18 year old female who had Unprotected sex on the 13th of October and took the morning after pill (Levonorgestrel) on on 14th of October. My last period was on the 17th of September until the 23rd of September I fear I might get pregnant.
Female | 18
The birth control pill is best if taken within three days of having unprotected sexual intercourse. The mechanism of action is to prevent the ovary from releasing an egg. Be mindful, though, the morning-after pill is not 100% effective. To be safe, you should look out for the signs like missed periods, nausea, or breast tenderness. If you get any of these symptoms, it's best to do a pregnancy test.
