Is my circumcision correct? What type did I have?
Hey, my name is Sam, and I am 16 years old. I had my circumcision two months ago, but I am not sure if it was done correctly. How can I be sure? Also, I want to know what type of circumcision I have and whether I still have my frenulum or not.

After two months, signs of healing should include reduced swelling, no discharge, and minimal discomfort. A properly done circumcision can vary in appearance, with some preserving the frenulum while others do not. If you’re noticing unusual symptoms like excessive pain, bleeding, or signs of infection, it’s best to consult a dermatologist. They can give you a thorough examination and clarify any concerns about your procedure.

Only based on the given information it is quite impossible to determine whether your daughter is suffering from a skin disorder or not. It is therefore wise to visit a dermatologist for the proper diagnosis and therapy.

I have melasma on my face, i use triple combination cream which doctor prescribed me, but no result
Female | 43
It is best to consult with a dermatologist to get an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan for your melasma. Depending on the severity of your melasma, they may recommend a combination of topical and laser treatments, chemical peels, lightning creams. Recommended limiting sun exposure and wearing sunscreen with a high SPF rating, to reduce your risk of further melasma flare-ups.

Hi , I had a blind comedones under my face skin , and it is for 2 years now and its not inflammed it's just like a black head but without head and the doctor tried more than 2 times to remove them by extraction but with no result (they were deep) so we had to do them by laser to open up a hole and extract them but the inside were solid so after the session there were holes and one of them is big. My question is are they leaving scars ? I will leave a picture after 3 weeks from the procedure …. My doctor is saying that it will take time to heal ? I’m afraid they will leave a permanent scars
Female | 27
It’s usual to have scars after a surgical process but differing factors play a role in the level of damage and recovery period. As far as laser treatment is concerned, scarring may occur, but it’s usually minimal and will go away with time. I suggest you visit the dermatologist instead as they can give you better advice on post-treatment care and ensure that you heal properly.

Hi doc..i have this sour and white taste toungue for few months.scrap it off the next day it comes back..is it due to smoking and alcohol user..i dont have this problem before..ols help
Male | 52
You have a white sour taste in your mouth that won't go away even after scraping it off. According to my experience, this might be caused by smoking or alcohol which irritates the mouth hence this recurring problem. To solve this problem, reduce smoking and taking alcohol. Ensure that your teeth are always clean and don’t forget to scrape your tongue. If this doesn't work out for you then I would advise you to visit a dentist who will further guide you on what to do.

Hello dear doctor, I had an accident like 10 days ago, my leg got burnt because it touched the silencer, the burnt area turned completely white, and day after day, it released blood, yellow liquid, and its fresh everyday, its not even healing, im applying ointment called Quench, but it just dries over it and nothing is helping, I can't even walk, I really need help on what to do, should I apply any other ointment? Leave it open? Or what?
Male | 16
It seems that the burn is rather extensive and does not heal well. I would suggest early consultation with a dermatologist or burn specialist. Do not use any more cream and let the wound dry. It is essential to keep the wound well cleaned, dressed and treated. Seek medical help at the earliest.

My penis head and foreskin are changing colour it started at the head and has been spreading over time, the sexual health clinic didn’t know what it was
Male | 41
Color changes in the head and foreskin can result from various factors like infections, dermatitis, or skin conditions. Sometimes, irritation or friction can also contribute to these changes. It is reassuring that you've already sought advice from a clinic. However, I encourage you to consult a dermatologist again for further investigation. A dermatologist or urologist can provide a more accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment options.

I am a 25 year old female, a new tiny black beauty spot appeared on my back,it's absolutely tiny like a pencil dot,is it normal to still get beauty spots at the age of 25,its not itchy or painful and it's flat.
Female | 25
It's completely normal to get new beauty spots at the age 25. If the spot is small, clean, and not causing any discomfort, it's likely harmless. These spots might appear due to sun exposure or your genes. It's important to keep an eye on any changes in the size, shape, or color of the spot. If you notice unusual things like bleeding or rapid growth, visit a dermatologist to be safe.

Female | 20
This condition is triggered by areas such as body creases/groin, and public regions that are warm and moist, not being kept dry. It is characterized by severe itching, burning, and redness. Meanwhile, clean the area with a wet sponge and dry it, wear thin clothes, and apply an antifungal cream which you can get from the pharmacy. If it does not get better consult a dermatologist.

I face chicken pox disease from last 3 days and now I feel hot after taking fever medicine
Female | 17
After taking fever medicine, it usually happens that a person feels to be hot. Chickenpox is a virus that causes the manifestation of itchiness all around the body with red spots that turn into blisters. Fever, headache, and tiredness are the most common symptoms. Always remember to drink plenty of fluids to keep your body hydrated. Calamine lotion is useful in alleviating itching. Plenty of rest is essential.

I have been bit by a person in my hand a few says ago. The area is red now. What should I do about it?
Female | 24
The redness you see might be a cause of infection. It can be managed by washing the area properly with soap and water. Next, put an over-the-counter antibiotic ointment and cover it with a bandage. If the redness starts to expand, you get a fever, or if there is pus, seek medical help immediately.

My face is turning black, I have used the sun screen.
Male | 37
You might be experiencing hyperpigmentation, where skin appears darker due to various factors like sun exposure, hormonal changes, or inflammation. Even with sunscreen, some individuals may still notice darkening. It's important to assess your skincare routine and consider factors such as the type of sunscreen and its application. Ensure you're applying it liberally and reapplying regularly, especially during prolonged outdoor activities. For persistent or concerning changes, I recommend consulting a dermatologist. They can provide personalized advice and treatment options to help your skin recover and restore its natural tone.
