Allergic Reaction Treatment: Swelling, Itching, Redness

I’ve had an allergic reaction to something that I have eaten. That was three days ago. I went to the hospital because I started getting hives. They were itchy, so sore and red and hot to the touch. They said it was a surface allergy. And gave me a steroid, antihistamine, anti inflammatory. But after it wears off it gets hot to the touch my face burns and turns red and swells slightly and it starts to spread more til I take the next dose and then I start to feel a little better idk what’s going on

Perhaps your body is responding to something to which it is allergic. Sometimes, reactions are not instant, taking days to fully develop. The redness, swelling, hives, and warmth you feel are typical allergic signs. Avoid whatever caused this reaction. Continue taking prescribed medicine. However, if symptoms worsen or persist, consult a dermatologist promptly.

My daughter is 10 year old and she got allergic it's like water ball it's spreading on legs so what is the best treatment for that.

Female | 10

Your daughter may have red hives, itching, and raised bumps on the skin. Often hives are elevated because of allergens like the diverse range of food, insects, or specified materials. Antihistamine drugs such as Benadryl can be used to help relieve the symptoms of itching and swelling. Check again to ensure no food or other substances have caused the allergy, and if it spreads or worsens, seek medical attention.

Which treatment is best for vitiligo in children below 5 years, homeopathy, ayurveda, or allopathy? What treatment is given to kids for focal vitiligo above lips?

Male | 3

The best treatment for vitiligo in children below 5 years old would depend on the severity of the condition. Generally, topical corticosteroids are the most commonly used treatment for vitiligo in children, and they are used in combination with other treatments like phototherapy, topical calcineurin inhibitors, and systemic immunomodulators. For focal vitiligo above the lips, the treatment of choice is usually topical corticosteroids. Additionally, topical immunomodulators and phototherapy can be used in combination with topical corticosteroids to improve the effectiveness of the treatment. Homeopathy, ayurveda, and other alternative treatments can be used in conjunction with conventional treatments, but should be discussed with a doctor before starting.

I have chicken pox and little cold also .I need medicine with prescription.

Female | 25

You have chicken pox accompanied by a slight cold that can be uncomfortable. Chickenpox is the cause of red spots on your skin and itchiness, while a cold can lead to a cough or sneezing. To help with the itchiness, you can take oatmeal baths and use calamine lotion. For the cold drinking warm fluids and resting should be the first. Ensure that besides drinking water, you also get enough sleep in order to allow your body to naturally combat the viruses responsible for these symptoms.

Skin atrophy is the major issue and it is necessary to use gentle lotions and creams to keep your skin moisturized to solve it. Refrain from harsh chemicals and cover your skin from the sun. Eating a balanced meal full of vitamins and minerals can also help your skin. Always bear in mind that the major reason for taking good care of the skin is for the overall well-being of the body.
