It sounds like your son might have an infection. Since he has had fever, cold, cough, and throat swelling for 5 days, I recommend you take him to a pediatrician immediately for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Male | 3

Catching a cold is likely if exposed to someone who's sick. Colds come from viruses - tiny germs. Symptoms may include coughing, sneezing, runny nose, fever sometimes. To help your son recover, ensure he rests well, drinks plenty of fluids, and takes over-the-counter medicine if required.

My son is 6 year old. He is unable eat full meals. He complains he is full after eating half of the food especially rice. He is OK eating small meals. He says no non veg foods which he used to eat. I am seeing this issue especially after Covid for past 1 year . Should I worry about this? Should I just give more time? His weight is not at all increasing. He is at 22 for the past 1 year. His height has increased but becoming very lean. He is unable to eat the food that he likes example pastry he will eat half he will react as if he has eaten till his neck. Which specialist should I consult?

Male | 6

Your son seems to have eating troubles after Covid. This issue needs attention. Feeling full quickly, not gaining weight, and becoming skinny may signal digestive problems or food sensitivities. See a pediatric gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment plan. You're wise noticing his changed eating habits and seeking help early. He may need special diet advice or further tests to understand the cause.

Hello is 80cm waist circumference healthy for a 11 year old boy who is 155cm tall and weighs 51kg

Male | 11

For an 11-year-old boy around 155cm tall, weighing 51kg, an 80cm waist size could be a bit large. A bigger waistline at a young age might cause future health concerns like diabetes or heart issues. To maintain good health, balanced meals are crucial. Additionally, engaging in enjoyable exercises and discussing waist size monitoring with an adult could be beneficial.

Hi! I just started wetting the bed two nights in a row. My friend gave me one of his kids Huggies 4t-5t Pull Ups to try. I tried one on and it fit perfect actually since I am small for my age. I woke up wet today. I also have tried out a pacifier that they gave me for better sleep for a few nights.

Male | 26

Bedwetting as an adult can be due to various reasons like stress, urinary tract infections, or other medical conditions. It's important to see a urologist to get a proper diagnosis and treatment. Using pull-ups or pacifiers may help in the short term, but consulting a specialist is the best step for a long-term solution.

So I have a 4 month old baby so he has bleeding the brain would it be possible that when my 3 daughters where jumping on my bed and my 4 month old baby got his head stuck between the wall and bed when they started bouncing that the bed and the wall would make his brain start bleeding ??

Male | 4 months

It is unlikely that the bed and wall incident alone caused your baby's brain to bleed, but it is important to seek medical advice immediately. Brain bleeding in infants can have serious causes. Please consult a pediatric neurologist to understand the situation and get proper care for your baby.

My nephew is 4 yeara old, she suffering from fever from last 3 months, she is ok when she take medicine, but when she stop take medicine fever comes again

Female | 4

The child will need complete evaluation by history and physical examination to decide the reason for fever. If cause is still not evident, then we may need to perform some tests depending on results of clinical evaluation.

These symptoms can be pretty rough for a kid her age. There are a few possible reasons: stress, not enough sleep, or something in her diet. My advice is to take her to see a pediatric neurologist for the headaches, plus a counselor. Getting help from both might be useful.
