My son 10 year old boy had very small black spot in his nose tip before one month for 2 weeks... but now it looks like pimple.. can we apply any ointment for this..
Male | 10
Your son has a pimple on the tip of his nose. These can be in children because of oily and dirty particles trapped in the pores. It is important to avoid pressing on it because that can cause an infection. You can clean the affected area gently with soap and water that is mild and warm for the skin. You may want to apply an anti-acne cream with benzoyl peroxide if it is not too harsh, but first of all, start with small portions of it to be sure the skin can tolerate it. If it doesn't heal, visit a dermatologist.

Hair fall Delivery ke bad bahut ho rha hai hair fall
Female | 28
Women usually have hair loss after childbirth. It is the result of hormonal changes in our bodies. Do not worry; it is a normal and passing situation. In addition to hair loss, you may also experience fatigue and stress. It is better to eat good food, get enough sleep and manage your stress. Mild hair care and avoiding chemicals also work out the problem.

Your skin’s red dots are psoriasis symptoms but you must seek a dermatologist for an appropriate diagnosis. Psoriasis is an autoimmune, chronic skin disease affecting the joints. A dermatologist may assess your symptoms and recommend suitable treatment measures.

some allergy suddenly arised from my body it caused my finger and arm swallow
Female | 17
When certain allergies occur, body parts tend to swell. This might have been caused by contact with something like a plant or chemical that does not agree with you. Ensure the affected area is washed properly. To reduce the swelling, you can use an antihistamine. Seek immediate medical attention if things get worse or if you find it hard to breathe.

Kya koi medicine of pimples ko swallow ki bejaye agr chewing kr kay khya jye toh benefit comp miltay?
Female | 22
When treating pimples, it's better to avoid chewing medicines that are meant to be swallowed. Chewing them may reduce their effectiveness, as the medicine works best when taken as directed. Topical treatments prescribed by a doctor may work better. Keep your face clean, avoid touching or picking at pimples, and follow a healthy skincare routine for the best results.

Hi. I've a question regarding my niece's skin problem. She is a 7-years old. She has developed red patches of skin on her cheek, chin and around nose. The affected area of her cheek is very dry. I brought her to a doctor who prescribed two creams, mezoderm(betamethasone) and gentamicin-akos which made things far worse. Then at the pharmacy I was advised to use ftorokart(also a cream with triamcinolone) for my niece's face. After a few uses of the cream, I've seen some noticeable improvement in her skin condition since she started to use it. It took the redness out of her nose. But she still has rash and blisters on her face. I took photos of her face in case it might be helpful for you to identify the reason for her skin condition. Here are the photos of hers: https://ibb.co/q9t8bSL https://ibb.co/Q8rqcr1 https://ibb.co/JppswZw https://ibb.co/Hd9LPkZ Would you mind helping us to identify what caused this skin condition?
Female | 7
According to the symptoms and signs described, it appears to be a case of atopic dermatitis which is common among children of the mentioned age. It is a condition where the skin barrier is disturbed and is extremely sensitive to external environmental triggers like cold and dry weather, dust etc. It presents as red dry itchy patches on cheeks, hands and legs sometimes whole body. The above mentioned creams contain topical corticosteroids which are to be used with a great caution under the supervision of Dermatologist. Good barrier repairing creams including emollients with squalene, ceramides etc can help reviving the skin barrier. Steroid sparing drugs can be prescribed to manage the rash. Please consult a qualified Dermatologist and do not use topical corticosteroids without doctor’s advice as it may cause many adverse effects.

I am facing acne issues in face and they are leaving marks as well on face.
Female | 28
Many people deal with acne. These are small red pimples that appear on the face. Sometimes these pimples go away but leave behind ugly marks. They happen when oil mixes with dead skin cells and blocks the tiny holes in your skin. To avoid this, cleanse your face every day using mild soap, and don’t squeeze the spots. Additionally, you may want to seek help from a skin specialist who can offer more guidance.

I have acne on my face its not going i tried everything i use cetaphil and all the products on the market but its getting worse day by day
Female | 24
The cause of acne is the hair follicles clogged with oil and dead skin cells. This can lead to red and swollen bumps on the skin. Sometimes, all you need to do is quit using some products that contain irritating ingredients. I suggest using gentle, non-comedogenic products and avoiding touching your face too much. Talk to a dermatologist for proper treatment.

Underarms infection Erythrasma

Erythrasma is an underarm infection. Red or brown patches appear on the skin. The skin might feel itchy or uncomfortable. A certain bacteria causes the infection. It thrives in warm, moist areas like the armpits. To treat Erythrasma, keep the affected area dry. Use antibiotic creams as directed. Practice good hygiene by bathing regularly. These steps can help clear up the infection quickly and effectively.

my skin is clear and normal.yet now I didn't use any serums, moisture, sunscreen . Pls suggest me Which one is best for anti-aging, maintain healthy skin for beginners. I have dark under eye . Pls suggest me best
Female | 43
To combat aging, and embrace healthy skin, consider a gentle serum containing Vitamin C. Complement this with a moisturizer infused with hyaluronic acid, and during daytime, apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Dark under-eye circles? Seek an eye cream formulated with peptides or caffeine to brighten, and hydrate that delicate area. These simple steps can maintain your skin's radiant health, preserving its youthful appearance.

Iam getting pimples on my face iam using BETAMETHASONE VALERATE AND NEOMUCIN SKIN CREAM. BETNOVATE-N
Male | 14
You should think twice about using BETAMETHASONE VALERATE AND NEOMUCIN SKIN CREAM (BETNOVATE-N) for this. Although these ointments contain corticosteroids, which are known for reducing inflammation, they can exacerbate your acne in the long run because of steroid-induced rosacea or any other reason. Pores get blocked with oil, bacteria, and dead skin cells, forming pimples. To bring your skin back to normal, it would be wise to use a mild cleanser and an oil-free moisturizer. More importantly, avoid touching them at all costs.

I have itchy buttons all over my body . It started over a month ago but they were unnoticeable and now it’s getting worse it’s all over my back and belly and arms
Female | 20
Eczema might be the condition causing those itchy bumps. This skin issue can worsen over time due to things like dry skin or allergies. To ease the itchiness, apply a gentle moisturizer and resist scratching the bumps. However, if they spread or don't improve, consulting a dermatologist for evaluation and treatment would be wise.

For a very dry and sensitive skin, start a niacinamide based gel to calm the skin .change the face wash to a gentle one, rather than a glow providing one. Post that apply the niacinamide. then use acne moisturizer and then sunscreen for acne prone skin. If this doesn't help you you can consult a dermatologist for skin lightening treatment.

My baby approx 2 yr old, suffered from intense itching since 3 month and rashes, what can I do?
Female | 2
The rashes in the baby who is 2 yrs old which are intensely itchy may be due to atopic dermatitis i.e. dry irritated red skin over multiple areas of the body like face, over the folds of the elbow, knees ,the back of the elbows or knees and even on the abdomen. This is common and recurrent and more prominent in winters than in summers. The mainstay treatment for atopic dermatitis are moisturizers or topical steroids. For proper evaluation dermatologist is the right person to contact.

White spotting on the scalp may suggest the disease called alopecia araeta which causes the hair to fall off in patches. I am facing hair loss problem since 5 years 6 months ago I consulted a dermatologist after tests I have low iron and d3 levels I used tablets 2 months and I used minoxidil bit I faced un wanted ahir so i stopped that topical minoxidil my hair was so long but now it almost damaged
Female | 19
The hair loss you are going through is because you have low ferritin and low vitamin D levels in your body. This will also lead to your hair becoming fragile and eventually falling out. Whenever you try stopping treatments suddenly, you will face more hair loss. Be patient and at the same time try to take your iron and D3 supplements regularly. Talk to the dermatologist again for his contribution. It takes time for the hair to grow, so try to remain calm and give your hair a chance.
