I am 19 and I had surgery 8 days ago and had to go on oxy. i’ve stopped taking it about 4 days ago. For the past 8 days i haven’t been able to poop. I have to go very bad but every time i do it’s too painful to pass and i have to suck it back up. i took 4 stool softeners yesterday and 1 the day before. I have to go really bad but i’m not sure what to do and i’m scared to because it hurts so bad
Female | 19
You’ve been struggling with constipation since your surgery and taking painkillers. Pain medication can slow things down in your body which causes constipation. I’m glad you took stool softeners but also try drinking more water, eating lots of fibre such as fruit and vegetables, or doing a little bit more exercise. If it doesn’t help, visit a gastroenterologist.

These irritation types may be the result of gastritis and acid reflux. It's a blessing that your tests came back normal and that you maintain a healthy diet. Since you're still experiencing the same, discuss with your gastroenterologist the possibility of modifying your medication or seeking other treatment options to help manage your symptoms.

Female | 25
I understand you’re feeling sick after taking Unwanted 72. The pain in your stomach and diarrhea can be due to the side effects of the drug. This happens because it contains hormones that affect your body. Drink lots of water so that you don’t get dehydrated. Eat light meals such as bananas, rice, and bread. Take a rest and do not eat spicy or greasy foods. If the symptoms persist then please visit a gastroenterologist.

Chest lower side pain from inside
Male | 30
If your pain is located at the base of your chest from inside, it may be due to different causes. A common reason is the presence of gas in your digestive system, creating an uncomfortable sensation in the stomach. Another possible condition is heartburn, which originates in the event of sports injury. Get pain relief by adopting a smart approach: Remove from your menu the following foods that are gas-inducing, chew on antacids available over the counter for heartburn, and use a heating pad to help your muscles loosen. Hydrate yourself daily and avoid activities hardening your chest muscles. If you have the same symptoms, visit a gastroenterologist for the right evaluation and treatment.

Male | 22
Because you have blood in your stool, anal discomfort, itching, burning, and a low platelet count, you might have hemorrhoids or an anal fissure. These conditions can cause bright red blood, gas, changes in your stool, and issues with your platelet count. To feel better, try increasing your fiber intake, staying hydrated, and taking sitz baths. It's important to see a gastroenterologist for proper evaluation and treatment.

It seems like your H. pylori infection, past small gut surgery, and high blood pressure may be behind it all. The hurt could mean swelling, ulcers, or other problems down there. Make sure to tell your doctor about the latest hospital trips and how bad the ache is. They might want to run some more tests or change up your meds to help ease the pain.

I am Mrs Gomes 55 years old lady suffering from upper abdomen pain from last few months and special after the meal and feeling floating
Female | 55
Indigestion occurs when the stomach struggles to break down food. This can cause discomfort, making it feel like air or gas is trapped in the belly. To help alleviate this, try eating smaller meals, avoid spicy and fatty foods, and stay upright after eating. Drinking ginger tea or taking over-the-counter antacids may also provide relief. If the pain persists, consult a gastroenterologist for further examination.

I m suffering from gallbladder stone whenever I try to do exercise I feel some pain near stomach
Female | 26
You may have gallstones. These are lumps of solid material that form in your gallbladder. When you do exercise, it could push against them and cause pain in the upper right part of your abdomen. Other symptoms might include nausea or vomiting and persistent tenderness over where the stone is located. You should try eating less fatty foods too if this is an ongoing issue for you. But if nothing changes, please visit a gastroenterologist.

If you have been diagnosed with jaundice, you may be advised to follow a healthy and balanced diet. Refrain from fatty, oily, and spicy foods. Individualized diet recommendations are best to be obtained from a gastroenterologist. In general, it is recommended to eat warm/hot foods, but drinking carbonated beverages like Coke or 7UP should be avoided if possible. Oil-free and non-spicy soup can be eaten when warm.
