His height has increased but becoming very lean. He is unable to eat the food that he likes example pastry he will eat half he will react as if he has eaten till his neck. My daughter is almost 4 years old. She had club foot by birth on left foot and left eye is also squint eye. Club foot was treated by 4 plasters early after birth. Later on, she started walking but still her left foot fingers get curved or turned when I notice. Squint eye treatment is still in progress. She is using glasses since she was one year old. Eyesight number goes varies time to time but not recovered fully. Suggestions please, I am really worried about her.

Female | 4

Your daughter likely has a clubfoot and a squint that can't be straightened. The fact that her clubfoot was treated at an early stage is a good thing, but the curved fingers may still be present. Regarding Ames squint-eye, the treatment is still in progress. The use of glasses is widespread and it is crucial to have her sight checked frequently.

Children with cerebral palsy (CP) often experience delays in motor skills development, such as walking. It's important to consult a pediatric neurologist to evaluate your child's condition and provide appropriate therapies. My baby boy is 31 months old and he didn't talking still... That's express his needs with signs only ...what is the the problem?

Male | 31 months

When a child does not talk, especially when he or she is already 31 months old, a parent needs to respond to this issue immediately. It may be an early sign of a speech delay. Sometimes, hearing trouble or a delay in development could be the cause. The most effective way is through speech therapist intervention which may mean providing strategies to improve your child's language skills.

My son had a bath about 3 hours ago and he’s been coughing and was gagging, almost choking. I want to know what i should do

Male | 1

Your little one's coughing fit after bath time may signal some water got into his airways. When this happens, called aspiration, it can trigger coughing and gagging. Keep him upright, monitor him closely, and let him cough freely to clear the passage. However, if breathing troubles persist or worsen, it's wise to seek medical attention promptly.

My baby boy is 1.1 year old. He swallowed a small wooden piece. Please kindly suggest me what to do.

Male | 1

If your little boy swallowed a small piece of wood and is not showing any symptoms such as difficulty in breathing, coughing, or choking, it can be assumed that he will pass it through his stool without any problems. Just make sure to check his poop to see that the piece comes out. Nonetheless, if he exhibits any signs of distress or if the piece does not pass within a few days, it is advisable to seek medical advice as early as possible.

My baby is 48 days old but his umbilical cord is not cure yet ,there is yellow sticky fluid is formed

Male | 48days

The umbilical cord falling off entirely can take time, and this is normal. It's vital to keep it dry and clean. Normally, the yellow sticky liquid you see is a sign that the wound is healing. Use some warm water and a cotton ball to gently clean the area. If it looks red and swollen or has a bad smell, you should consult a doctor. Yet, you should take the necessary precautions and keep the area clean and dry.
