My CT Scan report. Area of ground glass opacification is seen in the right lower lobe. A tiny subpleural nodule is seen in the right lung on image #4-46. What meant by it in easy and understandable words

Based on the CT scan report, here are a couple of findings:
Ground glass opacification in the right lower lobe: This refers to an area in the lung that appears hazy or cloudy on the CT scan. It can indicate various conditions, such as inflammation, infection, or early stages of lung disease.
Subpleural nodule in the right lung: This refers to a small abnormality or growth detected in the right lung, near the outer lining of the lung. The exact nature of the nodule would need further evaluation to determine if it is benign (non-cancerous) or potentially malignant (cancerous).

Female | 21
Seems like you have caught a common cold which is caused by a virus. The symptoms of cough, headache, fever, mucus in the throat and feeling weak can be seen. To feel better try taking more liquid, rest and maybe over the counter drugs for colds. Seek medical advice if you do not improve after one week or if they become severe.

Having wet cough with yellow green sputum since 2 days along with cough and nose block no sore throat, no other symptoms, have taken montek LC at night for 3 days
Female | 25
You have a wet cough with yellow-green mucus and a stuffy nose, but no sore throat, correct? This could be a respiratory infection like a cold. The mucus color shows your body is fighting an infection. Drink lots of fluids. Get plenty of rest. Keep taking Montek LC. If symptoms persist or worsen, see a pulmonologist.

I have played national matches in boxing and wrestling. I had severe chest pain in May. If I show in the hospital, in the x-ray, it will show water in the chest, after fluid tapping, Tb will be found in that water, I was under a lot of mental stress. Because I have to take care of my house. I have been taking the medicine given by the doctor since one month, I have started boxing and wrestling training, I am feeling a little better but I am not feeling any strength in my body, can I take creatine to get strength? Please help me a little
Male | 26
Pneumothorax (TB) might be the water inside your chest. This is due to the fact that the immune system, when it is weak, can bring on the symptoms such as chest pain and tiredness. While taking medications as prescribed should be your priority, do not take creatine without your doctor’s approval because it may worsen your condition. However, for now, make sure you are resting enough, eating properly, and gradually getting back into your regular training routine.

Had a chest xray for a cough/chest congestion that has lingered for a week. Do I have to take a zpak if no bronchitis or pneumonia was seen on xray?
Female | 47
A chest x-ray may rule out pneumonia or bronchitis but whether the prescription is appropriate remains questionable. In case you have a persistent cough and chest congestion, it is recommended that a pulmonologist should be consulted for further examination and treatment.

I have RSV how bad is it for an adult like me I'm 37 and I started getting sick on Monday and how long does it take for it to go away and could it kill me and how long does the coughing go for and will the coughing stop in how long before this RSV will get out of my system
Female | 37
RSV causes breathing trouble for grown-ups. With a cough, runny nose, fever and hard breathing, it can be rough. But most feel better in 1-2 weeks without treatment. It rarely kills healthy adults yet can be severe for some. The annoying cough may continue for weeks after the other symptoms fade. Resting up, drinking fluids, and symptom relief medications help most recover.

What you have described, such as breathing difficulties, heart pain, mouth ulcers, feeling sick, fatigue, and throat aches might be a condition like anxiety, stress, or vitamin deficiencies. It's great that your ECG and CT scan showed no issues. Healthy lifestyle choices are great but they can also help to ease the symptoms of stress, maintain a balanced diet, stay hydrated, and sleep enough. If the symptoms persist, visit a pulmonologist.

Hello I am 20 years old i have cough, flowing nose and chest pain while coughing since from last 2 days what should I do now I didn't get any relief from that which medicine should I prefer
Male | 20
It seems you may be experiencing symptoms of a respiratory infection, which can cause cough, nasal congestion, and chest discomfort. To find relief, consider staying hydrated, using over-the-counter medications like cough suppressants or decongestants, and resting as much as possible. Warm teas or steam inhalation can also soothe your throat and help with congestion. However, if the symptoms persist beyond a few days, worsen, or if you experience fever, it's crucial to seek medical advice. A pulmonologist can provide a proper diagnosis and recommend effective treatment tailored to your needs.

Fever and cough since 2days
Male | 23
If you've got a fever and cough lasting 2 days, chances are it's due to a viral infection. Your body increases temperature to fight off the virus internally. Resting up, staying hydrated, and taking acetaminophen eases symptoms. However, worsening issues or breathing troubles require prompt medical attention.

I have problem in breathing
Male | 22
Breathing difficulties can occur for various reasons. Some common signs include shortness of breath, wheezing, and a tight feeling in the chest. Causes can range from asthma and allergies to anxiety. If you're experiencing breathing difficulties, try sitting upright, breathing slowly, and staying calm. If the problem persists, seek a pulmonologist's advice to identify the cause and receive appropriate treatment.

A reading of 620 close to your personal best of 630, is within the normal range for you. Fluctuations can be normal due to various factors. Consult a pulmonology doctor if you have further concerns.

My 7-month-old daughter has coughed for almost 20 days. Some times it feels like a dry cough, and some time it feels like mucus. mostly she feels good but suddenly cough starts and feels like choking or unable to breathe, and this happens in phase 2 or 3 times in 24 hours.
Female | 7 months
A dry cough changing to mucus coughing may signal throat irritation or a cold. Difficulty breathing during coughing fits could mean mucus temporarily blocks her airways. Keep her hydrated. Use a humidifier in her room to loosen mucus. If coughing persists or worsens, seek medical attention from her pediatrician. This rules out other issues needing treatment.

I am 20 years male and have cough for more than 1 months I have taken some pills and home ingredients and still I am coughing and I had headache while coughing
Male | 20
If you have been coughing for over a month, it could mean something more serious happening. Sometimes people get headaches when they cough because of the pressure in their head. The most common reasons why a cough lasts a long time are infections such as bronchitis or even asthma. You should see a pulmonologist so that they can find out what is wrong and give you the right treatment.

I have been diagnosed with bronchitis and on a week course of antibiotics but my chronic cough has not improved and I have been vomiting and shortness of breath when walking and feeling very tired and body aches and headaches
Female | 26
Something seems wrong—your symptoms like vomiting, breathing trouble, exhaustion, aches, and headaches suggest the bronchitis worsened. The infection possibly spread. That's serious, you really should see a doctor urgently. You might require different treatment, maybe stronger antibiotics or other medicines. Delaying medical attention would be unwise.

My mother has sarcoidosis fibrotic ILD patient.last night her oxygen saturation 87 to 90. But physically she is normal .plz suggest what should i do.
Female | 66
The scarred and stiff lung tissue in sarcoidosis fibrotic ILD makes it hard for air to get in. If her oxygen level drops below normal, she does not have enough oxygen in her body. It can be really bad. Even if she seems fine, low oxygen can hurt her. Assure that her doctor’s instructions for using oxygen are strictly followed. In case there is no improvement, call for emergency medical services immediately.
