Periods that go on for too long can happen because of hormone issues, stress, or medical problems. Be sure to drink plenty of water and get enough rest. In this situation, it's really important to talk to a gynecologist. They can figure out what's going on and help make a plan to treat it.

25 yo female. my period was very irregular as a teenager and non existent when i had an iud from 18-22. it's been almost around 3.5 years since it was removed and I've been actively trying to conceive with my husband since. periods have been regular since iud removal... between 21-30 day cycles and 2-5 days bleeding each time. Normally, almost everything that comes out is clots. lots of blood clots, very minimal unclotted fluid ever present. Never been concerned about it, that's been my normal for as long as I can remember. this time though its different. currently cycle day 2 and not a single clot in sight. at all. so I'm looking for some advice on if that's normal, or not, or if it changing is abnormal..?
Female | 25
It is common for menstrual cycles to vary in length, especially during the first few years after you stopt birth control pills. Though the absence of clots during this period can be concerning, it is not necessarily a cause for alarm. But if you experience any other unusual symptoms such as heavy bleeding, severe pain, or unusual discharge, it is advisable to visit a gynecologist.

Hi I'm sunaina. I'm 26 year old . 2 month is complete I missed my periods yesterday I did pregnancy test it's negative no pregnancy. Last year in August I did abortion also in India. After that my cycle is not on time . Before 2 month I had very heavy flow periods . After that last month little bleeding I use pad and after that there is nothing no bleeding at all. Today in this month also I got bleeding very light color pinkish I use pad after that pad is clear nothin just little bit bleeding I hope u understand my English
Female | 26
After an abortion, you may experience changes in hormone levels, which can cause this to happen. The heavy flow of light bleeding might indicate a hormonal imbalance. Stress, weight changes, and medical conditions may also influence your cycle. To get your periods in order, eat well, exercise regularly, and practice stress management to lead a healthy life. If the problem continues, it is advised to visit a gynecologist for further evaluation and guidance.

I am pregnant in 9 weeks. At my last scan, they said I have a possible hematoma with dimmensions 8/5 mm. They said it is small and nothing to worry about. Also I had no bleeding or brown discharge. So what should I do?
Female | 20
If your doctor has told you that the hematoma is small and not a cause for concern, then it is likely that they have assessed the situation carefully and do not see any immediate risks to your pregnancy.

I have done my ultrasound on 30 Oct and there are two white dots in my small gestational sac at 4 weeks 3 days pregnancy
Female | 24
These areas have caused concern in the form of blood clots or inner bleeding, which are quite common in the first trimester. However, it is important to consult a gynecologist for proper guidance and treatment.

Unwanted 72 pills ke saath 2 painkiller lene se kya hota ,aur painkiller 1year mein kitni le skte h
Female | 20
Taking 2 painkillers along with Unwanted 72 pills can increase the risk of side effects like stomach pain, nausea, or dizziness. It's important not to take too many painkillers in a year, as it can harm your liver and kidneys. Please consult a gynecologist for advice on emergency contraceptives and a general physician for painkiller usage.

I have been having a weird smell coming out of my vagina and an itchy feeling,,I have rashes around the vaginal area what could this be
Female | 19
A weird smell, itch, and rashes in that area might indicate a bacterial or yeast vaginal infection. Keeping the region clean and dry, wearing cotton underwear, avoiding scented products: these help fix it. Over-the-counter treatments work for fungal infections. For bacterial ones, see a gynecologist.

I'm 29year old..my periods date was on 20th may...it is skipped .UPT is postive but since 24th mrng der is spotting...brown discharge specially in the early morning..I have consulted doctor she gave me medication of folic acid and progesterone...may I know the reason for the spotting since 5days
Female | 29
It appears like you’re having implantation bleeding. This occurs when a fertilized egg attaches itself to the lining of the uterus which may cause some light spotting. The drug given supports the pregnancy. In case the spotting persists or becomes heavier, please inform your gynecologist.

I ovulate after 10 days of the period can I get pregnant the next day
Female | 23
I suggest that you visit a gynecologist in order to have a whole examination and management of your menstrual causes. You would ovulate 14 days before the next period, so you probably won't ovulate the next day after period. But, sometimes, sporadic cycles may indicate hormonal imbalances or some medical problems. The choice of gynecologist would be the right expert to consult for further advice.

If you are not getting your periods on time then do consult the gynecologist. This may be due to different reasons such as stress, hormonal imbalance or underlying medical conditions.

I had an unprotected sex with my partner and my period date is coming near on 1 June.....is there any chances of pregnancy
Female | 27
There is a chance of getting pregnant if you have unprotected sex around the time when your period is supposed to start. Some common early signs of pregnancy are missing a period, feeling tired, being sick to your stomach, or having tender breasts. The best thing for you to do next would be to wait until after your period is due and then take a test if it has not started yet.

I had unprotected sex 17 days ago and yesterday i had my periods what its mean am i pregnant or not?
Female | 17
There is always a small chance of pregnancy, especially if your menstrual cycle is irregular or shorter than average, the occurrence of your period is generally a good indication that you are not pregnant.

My periods came after 12 days and its been more than 6 days with heavy bleeding and no pain what should i do?
Female | 17
For 6 or more days you may have irregular and heavy periods as a symptom of some other underlying health conditions including hormonal disbalance, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), or fibroids. It is imperative to consult a gynecologist for a full diagnosis and management plan.

It has been 24 days passed for sexual intercourse and even I got my periods after that is it possible to get pregnant after getting periods as there is stomach pain
Female | 21
Stomach pain after intercourse and getting your period can have different causes. Stomach pain sometimes occurs even after your period if you have an infection or there are problems with your reproductive organs. If you were involved in intercourse without protection, although the chances are not so high, you might still be pregnant despite your period. Other causes of pain include both diagnosed problems and undiagnosed physical conditions. For that matter, taking a pregnancy test or seeing your gynecologist is another option.

I want to ask about my wifes late period problem this month
Female | 24
Periods can be delayed at times. Stress, changes in weight, or hormonal imbalances can be the reasons for it. Unanticipated pregnancy, thyroid conditions, or polycystic ovary syndrome are also likely causes of it. It is advisable to get along with a gynecologist to determine the specific cause if your wife undergoes other symptoms such as pain, nausea, or unusual bleeding.

I had my last period on 16 Jan and I had a intercourse on 8 Feb so is it possible to get pregnant
Female | 20
Yes, you can get pregnant after your last menstrual period on 16 Jan if you had an intercourse on 8 Feb, the chances of which largely depend on the timing of the ovulation and menstrual cycle regularity. If you have any worries about pregnancy or reproductive health, then please see the gynecologist for an examination and tips.

Meri wife ka 5 month pahle open surgery se uterus remove hua tha . Last 10 days se abdomen k tanke ke niche right side gola ubhar aaya hai . Usme swelling aur dard ho rha hai. Aur koi dikkat nhi hai .

An organ pushing through a muscle's weakened area is a hernia. This can happen after surgeries, likely your wife's case. Swelling and discomfort are usual signs. It's best she sees a gynecologist soon for proper checks and treatment.

I did at home IUI on Friday and didn’t realise there was air in the syringe and blew some in my vagina and now I’m worried about an air embolism
Female | 25
Air embolism is the condition when air bubbles get into your blood vessels and can be quite dangerous. But, don't worry too much. In your case, that is highly unlikely. Symptoms would include chest pain, trouble breathing, and dizziness. You look okay for now, but if any symptoms appear, do not wait to get help.

I took unwanted 72 pill twice a month(we also used condoms) (one on 28 Feb and another on 11th march) of my cycle. My period due date was 20th March and it's one day late. What can be the reason behind it and what can be done? Can I still be pregnant?
Female | 25
Sometimes, using emergency contraception like Unwanted 72 can impact your menstrual cycle's timing. Stress, illness, routine changes - these factors can also delay your period's arrival. With the dates you provided and the condom usage, pregnancy seems unlikely. However, waiting a bit longer may yield your expected period. If concerns persist, a pregnancy test could offer reassurance.

Periods problem last week my periods very low flow but this week heavier
Female | 30
It’s normal for your period to be a little different from week to week. If you had a lighter flow last time and now it’s heavier than usual, this is no big deal. The change can be caused by hormonal changes, stress, diet, or even just doing something different with your day. Make sure that you are taking care of yourself by eating right, staying active, and managing any anxiety or worry that comes along with it. If it keeps happening or you’re concerned, talk with your gynecologist so they can tell you everything’s fine.

Ma'am my last periods will come on 20 August and end on 25 th August....so ma'am I have done a sexually thing on 8th of September should pregnancy will occur or not???
Female | 19
According to the dates you've given, it is improbable that pregnancy would result from the action on September 8th. As it was after your period, the probability of you becoming pregnant is not very high. The first indicators of pregnancy can be such as missed periods, nausea, fatigue, and breast tenderness. If you notice any of these symptoms, it is a good idea to take a pregnancy test to be sure.
