Should I Seek Help if My 8yr Old Overdosed Nyquil?
My son drink 30ml of Nyquil instead of 15ml. He is 8yr old. weight 44lb and 4ft height.

Medicine is crucial but you must be extremely careful with doses. If your child takes too much, it can make them sick. Your son drank double the recommended Nyquil amount. He will likely feel drowsy, dizzy, and have an upset stomach or headache. The overdose happened because the medicine was too strong for his body size. Give him water right away. Watch him carefully for other symptoms. If he seems unwell, don't hesitate to get medical help.

Kids feel lousy when sick. Your child's fever and lack of eating/drinking could mean an infection like a cold or flu. Sometimes, kids don't want food when unwell. Offer lots of liquids - water, juice mixed with water, sips often. Give small meals that digest easily. If the fever is high or your child seems ill, see a pediatrician.

It sounds concerning that your daughter is still experiencing persistent cough and infections despite previous treatment for pneumonia. It's important to consult a pediatric pulmonologist. They can assess her symptoms thoroughly, consider other possible causes, and recommend appropriate treatment to manage her condition effectively. My 10 month old baby got fever after every month from last 3 to 4 months ,, temperature varies from 100 to 102 c I have a blood test report I want to discuss about the report
Male | 0
In children, any fever above 100 degrees Fahrenheit should be investigated. It might mean there’s an infection present. It’s important to go through the blood test report for any indications of an infection. The most likely causes are respiratory or urinary tract infections. After you get the results, make sure you book another appointment with a pediatrician so that they can recommend the right treatment.

Snoring in toddlers is often caused by partially blocked airways, which may result from enlarged tonsils or adenoids. It's important to consult an ear, nose, and throat specialist for evaluation and treatment. Additionally, ensure your child sleeps in a comfortable position with the right pillows. Don't ignore this issue—talk to a pediatrician to help your child sleep better.

Gave my son a pedialax suppository to help him poop and he’s had diarrhea for about 3days now and has a pretty bad rash from it what can I do?is it normal?
Male | 5
The Pedialax suppository seems to have caused those side effects. Diarrhea happens when the tummy gets irritated. Rashes come from skin irritation. Give your son lots of water to stay hydrated. Put a gentle cream on the rash. If it doesn't improve soon, talk to a doctor. These issues should go away, but get help if needed. Reach out to a pediatrician for advice if concerns persist.

My baby cries a lot to sleep for every nap o try to put him to sleep
Male | 0
It's hard when babies cry a lot during sleep time. They might be super tired or have trouble settling down. Sometimes gas pains or sore gums from teething can also cause fussiness. A calming routine helps. Maybe give them a warm bath, read a book, sing lullabies. Make sure their room is cozy, dark, and quiet too. If crying won't stop, ask the doctor just in case.

It's common for viral infections to cause dysentery with mucous in children. Antibiotics are not effective against viruses and may not be needed. Follow your doctor's advice closely. Can a little boy can eat egg if he is suffering from urine infection or release blood after unine
Male | 6
Young boys with urinary tract infections or hematuria should avoid eggs. Egg consumption aggravates bladder irritation, and worsening symptoms. The signs include pain during urination, frequent bathroom trips, and pinkish-reddish urine. Hydration and fruits/veggies aid recovery, helping the body combat the infection. Symptoms like painful urination, increased urinary frequency, and discolored urine indicate the condition. .

Calamine lotion is usually harmless if consumed in small quantities. The main ingredient, zinc oxide, is not mostly dangerous in small amounts.
