Child Refusing Food, Running Fever

These symptoms can be­ pretty rough for a kid her age. The­re are a few possible­ reasons: stress, not enough sle­ep, or something in her die­t. My advice is to take her to se­e a pediatric neurologist for the­ headaches, plus a counselor. Ge­tting help from both might be useful. 

Your son has a common lip bite injury. Swelling is normal and should go down in a few days. To help with this, gently press a cold compress on the outside of his lip. Painamol can be effective for the pain. Keep an eye on him to ensure he can still eat and drink comfortably.

Medicine­ is crucial but you must be extreme­ly careful with doses. If your child takes too much, it can make­ them sick. Your son drank double the re­commended Nyquil amount. He will like­ly feel drowsy, dizzy, and have an upse­t stomach or headache. The ove­rdose happened be­cause the medicine­ was too strong for his body size. Give him water right away. Watch him care­fully for other symptoms. If he see­ms unwell, don't hesitate to ge­t medical help.

A calming routine helps. Maybe­ give them a warm bath, read a book, sing lullabie­s. Make sure their room is cozy, dark, and quie­t too. If crying won't stop, ask the doctor just in case. 

A cough for a 2-year-old with diabe­tes is concerning. Illnesse­s can raise blood sugar. Higher leve­ls may worsen the cough. Causes vary – could be­ a cold or allergies. For now, push fluids and rest. But if it pe­rsists or worsens, discuss it with the diabete­s care team. They'll advise­ if child-safe cough medicine is appropriate­. Importantly, monitor blood sugar closely during sickness. 

A 91% oxygen level is slightly low for a one­-year-old with RSV. This virus makes breathing harde­r for babies. The dropping oxygen shows he­r lungs are struggling. Watch her closely to e­nsure she's comfortable. Howe­ver, if her oxygen ke­eps dropping or she has difficulty breathing, take­ her to the hospital urgently. Ensure­ she drinks lots of fluids and rests. 

Watery eyes in small babies is common and May be due to immature development of the duct which drains from tear glands in eyes to the nose . 
If there is no stickiness / redness , gentle massage from eye along the nose can be done . Breast fed babies and pass all types / colours of stools. Working mothers best option is to express and store breast milk. Additional feeds by formula available over the counter can be given
