My wife is 39 years old and having high BP ranging between 130-165. She recently got the few testings done along with ultrasound. Her creatinine came as 1.97. In ultrasound reports, her rights kidney was shrinken by 3 cm approx and left kidney by 1 cm approx. She has no symptoms of any pain. Please suggest as what should be the treatment to be followed.

Consult with a nephrologist or internal medicine specialist for your wife's personalized treatment. High bp may require lifestyle changes and medication. The elevated creatinine level and kidney changes seen in the ultrasound need careful evaluation to determine the underlying cause and manage it.

So I had sepsis back in August of 2023 I have fully recovered since then and was wondering is it safe to get a piercing
Female | 19
It is recommended to wait at least a year after recovering from sepsis before getting a piercing. This is to ensure that your immune system has fully recovered and can handle any potential infections. It is also advised to consult with an immunologist or infectious disease specialist before getting a piercing to ensure that it is safe for you.

I had a sex contact and took Hive test on 25th Jan. Non-reactive (Feb-2) Next test (Feb-28) and LIST test (May-02) Non-reactive - now should I test?
Male | 32
A "non-reactive" result indicates that the test did not detect HIV antibodies or antigens in your blood at the time of testing. And you have consistently received non-reactive results over a span of a few months. However, for definitive advice regarding testing intervals and your specific situation, it's essential to consult a professional who specializes in sexual health or infectious disease

Morning urine can it contains protein urine test and I see protein and rest day it is negativt why is that mean urine is more concentrated
Male | 24
This could probably occur because of the high concentration of the urine. In the morning, urine concentrate contains a higher concentration of proteins as compared to diluted samples that have been taken intermittently. The best thing to do is to see a nephrologist for proper assessment and management.

Will bupemorphine show up in blood work for my new employer and there insurance, or does it have to be a specific blood test for that
Male | 28
Yes, buprenorphine can be found in blood tests. But it depends on the type of test your employer will be conducting with you. You have to inform your employer about the medications you may be taking. When it comes to questions concerning the nature of the test, it is advisable to reach out to a medical practitioner for clarifications, a psychiatrist or an addiction specialist being the best.

I ate some raw chicken approx 42 hours ago. Yesterday (12 hours ago) I had nausea and diarrhea for an hour then felt mostly back to normal for the rest of the day. This morning I woke up and felt sluggish and a bit dizzy along with some diarrhea (for an hour again), but no vomiting. Will my symptoms subside or will I start to throw up? Or will I just have stomach problems for the next day or two?
