Answered on 21st Aug '24
Throwing up a lot can cause upper back pain when swallowing. Even if your endoscopy looked normal, other issues like muscle strain or acid reflux might be causing this discomfort. Try eating smaller portions, avoiding spicy foods, and staying upright after meals. This might help. If you’re still having trouble, see your doctor again. There might be other causes or treatments to consider.

Was having mild stinginess in my throat in january and was prescribed rabeloc for 1 month followed by esomeprazole for another month. After the completion of my dose my throat was fine and the medication stopped. But in 1 week I was having a severe stabbing chest pain stomach pain . Is it because I stopped the medication or something else. As before starting the medication I never had this issue.
Female | 25
Abruptly discontinuing the medication could trigger your symptoms return. Stomach discomfort and chest pain are potential side effects when stopping acid-reducing medicines too quickly. Gradually tapering off these drugs is crucial to avoid such complications. Consult a gastroenterologist to discuss the symptoms you're experiencing and receive proper guidance on managing them effectively.

Male | 46
You have been under the weather for a long time. The symptoms you mentioned (such as constipation, loose motions, stomach pain, and passing stool with mucus) are typical of irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease. These can be caused by a combination of diet, stress, and gut health. The first step is visiting a gastroenterologist who will determine if you have any of these diseases as well as a proper course of action for you. At the same time, making lifestyle choices, coping with stress, and consuming a balanced diet can also reduce the severity of your symptoms.

Considering you father's medical history of diabetes and past gastritis, its important to seek medical attention from a gastroenterologist for a thorough evaluation. The doctor may recommend tests to determine the underlying cause, such as GERD or gastritis.

I haven't been able to freshen up properly for a few days...and I have stomach pain on my left side.
Male | 33
Gas buildup or constipation could create this unpleasant feeling. Not expelling waste regularly causes issues too. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Fiber-rich foods aid waste removal from the body. Mild exercise like walking helps food move along smoothly. However, if pains persist despite self-care measures, it's wise to consult a gastroenterologist promptly.
