Many people think about their health, like taking a multivitamin. Having it before sleep is usually ok. But, you can't take too much. A 16-year-old boy weighing 49kg should follow the dosage instructions carefully. Overdoing certain vitamins may cause issues. For example, an upset stomach or headaches. If you notice anything unusual after taking the multivitamin, like stomach pain or rashes, stop right away. Talk to a doctor.

I am 47 year old woman, I have diabetes since last 6,7 years, sugar level is mostly more than 200. And vitamin B12 and vitamin D is very less. Please suggest medicines.
Female | 47
It's better to visit a specialist in person, as for diagnosis it will be essential to go through the latest blood reports and logbook readings, and additionally your details regarding current prescription is required as well. But I will advise you to take Multivitamin B12 like Nervmax and Uprise D3 for few months. I am 28 years old and I am taking steroids tablet..can it have side effects???
Female | 28
Steroids can impact your body negatively. Common side effects include weight gain, acne breakouts, mood fluctuations, and sleeping difficulties. This happens because steroids interfere with natural functions within your system. Weight gain and acne result from hormonal changes caused by steroids. Mood swings and insomnia occur when steroids disrupt chemical balances regulating emotions and sleep cycles. If experiencing these issues, consult your doctor immediately.

I've been gaining weight suddenly , I have had PCOS for 4 years now but suddenly last year I started gaining weight , i changed from 58kg to 68 kg in just a year or so . I've not changed by diet much but still I am gaining weight, and when I try to exercise I am getting really short of breath , I can't even exercise the most simple things
Female | 22
The weight gain could be due to your PCOS which can produce imbalances in hormones and influence metabolism. The shortness of breath accompanying exercise could indicate poor fitness or be a symptom of an underlying health problem. A gynecologist's visit is needed for a full assessment and advice on how to handle your PCOS and weight issues. In the meantime, try gentle exercises like walking and focus on a balanced diet to help improve your health.

Keva Ayurveda uses herbs and lifestyle changes to help balance hormones and bodily functions. Their therapies might ease your hypothyroidism symptoms through methods like herbal remedies. But don't try anything new without talking to your regular doctor first.

Elevated estrogen and prolactin sometimes cause brain fog symptoms. Reasons like stress, medicines, or conditions can make these hormones imbalanced. Managing may involve lifestyle changes, diet adjustments, or medications helping balance hormones without causing impotence, your doctor may suggest. Hello , I am 27 years old and i have testosterone value 2.89 ng/mL . And i make exercises fitness 3/4 days in week My question is : Can i take some testosterone ?
Male | 27
At your age, having a level of testosterone at 2.89ng/mL is right where it should be. There are several symptoms associated with lowT which include high fatigue levels, decreased libido, and even mood swings. It might be stress or some medical problems causing it; see a doctor before taking testosterone because if not done properly this could harm your body. If you sustain your exercise routine, eat well-balanced meals daily, and have adequate sleep every night -these activities will help maintain normal levels of this hormone.

Female | 28
For IUI your fallopians tubes must be open.
To check Fallopian tubes we need a diagnostic hysterolaparoscopy, wherein a telescope is put into your abdomen from your belly button, so as to check the exterior of your uterus as well as the external opening of the Fallopian tubes.
Additionally, we have to do a hysteroscopy as well, that is putting a telescope into your vaginal opening and then having a look at the inner lining and the internal opening of your tube.
If your tubes are normal then you have unexplained case of infertility, and same has been observed in few instances in past. Sometimes there are no reasons for infertility as such, but this can be concluded only if your reports and that of your husband's turn out to be normal.
If you are overweight then you should also follow a healthy diet & exercise routine.
After doing all of this you can go ahead with IUI, if at all you have unexplained infertility. It can be done for 4-5 cycles.
You can approach any doctor from this page - Ivf doctors in India, or you can come to me as well, whichever you feel is convenient.

FSH (Follicle-stimulating hormone) and LH (Luteinizing hormone) regulate your reproductive system. Increased LH and decreased FSH levels may be the reason for diseases like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or early menopause. Symptoms could be a delay in periods, acquisition of acne, or trouble in pregnancy.

Over the last one year I have noticed many changes like I have lost a lot of weight, skin has become very dry, eye problems, most of the time my body feel too much week that i can not describe.
Male | 19
Your symptoms suggest you have hyperthyroidism - a thyroid gland producing excessive hormone. Unintended weight loss, dry skin, eye troubles, and fatigue are signs. Your overactive thyroid makes too much hormone. With medical help, pills or therapies treat this condition. Consult an endocrinologist for proper diagnosis and care.

Increased risk for diabetes (prediabetes): 5.7-6.4% Diabetes: > or =6.5% When using Hemoglobin A1c to diagnose diabetes, an elevated Hemoglobin A1c should be confirmed with a repeat measurement, fasting glucose, or other test for diagnosing diabetes. All hemoglobin A1c methods are affected by conditions that increase or decrease red blood cell survival. Falsely high results may be seen with iron deficiency or splenectomy. Falsely normal or low results may be seen with hemolytic anemias, unstable hemoglobins, end-stage renal disease, recent or chronic blood loss, or following transfusions. If you have a Hemoglobin A1c level of 5.7-6.4%, you are at risk for diabetes. If your level is 6.5% or higher, it means that you have diabetes. Signs of this condition include thirstiness, frequent urination, weariness, or unclear eyesight at times. Overeating, genetics combined with little or no physical activity could be the cause behind it all or some of these symptoms coming up. Controlling your blood sugar requires eating well-balanced meals regularly and exercising often if not daily; medication may also be necessary depending on other factors such as age, sex, race, etc.

Your prolonged periods may stem from hypothyroidism, an issue with your neck's thyroid gland producing insufficient hormones. This thyroid condition sometimes disrupts menstrual cycles. Treatment options like adjusting thyroid medication can properly manage this symptom. Consulting your doctor allows addressing the underlying cause.
