Please explain my scan report what it means Left overy shows a follicle measuring 10x8 mm and a hypoechoic cyst measuring 1.0 x 0.7 cm-? With the scan you have, your left ovary was found to have a small follicle and a cyst. The cyst can happen when endometriosis occurs, a condition where the lining of the uterus secretes tissue similar to it grows in different spots. There is also a near your ovary cyst - perhaps a fluid-filled sac such as a hydrosalpinx or a para ovarian cyst.
