You've had some trouble with that insect bite near your eye. The acidity of the insect's fluid might have caused the skin to scar. The skin can be either whitish or blackish. You can use aloe vera or vitamin E cream to treat it without leaving any scars. They are also useful in minimizing the visibility of the scars over time. Don't forget to rinse the area with water often and never itch it.

Hi I am taking esomeprazole, lipitor, lisinopril, citalopram and ropinerole. I want to know if it it safe to take anti sweat tablets. Thank you

Female | 59

Sweating is your body's natural way to cool down. Certain medications can increase sweat production as a side effect or be symptoms of underlying medical conditions. Anti-sweat tablets reduce sweat secretion but may interact with your current medications. It's crucial to consult your doctor for a safe solution. They can adjust your medications or suggest alternative treatments to address the root cause of your sweating. Always communicate openly with your doctor about any concerns or changes in your medication regimen to ensure your health is prioritized.

I just want to ask can i go to solarium today if i have a magnetic resonance in 2 days? i mean because of radiation, is it related or not allowed

Female | 21

It is not recommended to go to a solarium before your MRI scan, which is a tanning bed that is more powerful than a normal one. The rays from the solarium can affect how clear the scan will be sometimes. It’s like taking a picture with a dirty lens – things might not turn out sharp. If you are worried about anything, you should avoid the solarium and speak to your doctor about any further concerns.

I ave been suffering from staphylococcus aerus so for 7year now after treatment and medication it will reoccur I don’t know what else to do okay I want to lab last month it’s still there I can send you the if you want maa I ave taken injections now am taken augmenting quaclave as doctor prescribed to me my friends brother that is medical doctor in abroad said I should stop wasting money I should browse the internet google proved to me that vancomycin is the best injections for stubborn staph but am having double mind it won’t work maa plsss advice me on what to do thanks GOD bless

Male | 25

Staphylococcus aureus often leads to skin infections, boils, and even more serious problems such as bloodstream infections. It's caused by bacteria that may be hard to completely remove from the body. If the usual treatments like augmentin were ineffective in getting rid of the infection, vancomycin recommended by your friend is worth considering. Vancomycin is an antibiotic usually used as a last resort for persistent staph infections, especially those that do not respond to other antibiotics. When using vancomycin, it is important to follow your doctor's advice on dosage and treatment duration.

I have chicken pox and little cold also .I need medicine with prescription.

Female | 25

You have chicken pox accompanied by a slight cold that can be uncomfortable. Chickenpox is the cause of red spots on your skin and itchiness, while a cold can lead to a cough or sneezing. To help with the itchiness, you can take oatmeal baths and use calamine lotion. For the cold drinking warm fluids and resting should be the first. Ensure that besides drinking water, you also get enough sleep in order to allow your body to naturally combat the viruses responsible for these symptoms.

According to what you mentioned, you may have developed cheek pain without any redness or feeling cold. This can a condition known as trigeminal neuralgia which causes sudden and severe facial pains. Make sure you rest, use warm moist clothes on your face then take over-the-counter painkillers. However, if it does not improve or gets worse then you need to see a doctor for further advice.

I had acne breakout in my forehead and chin

Female | 28

The forehead and chin acne breakout is a skin disorder resulting from blocked pores caused by excessive oil production. I recommend that you see a dermatologist to receive proper diagnosis and treatment. Based on the level of your acne, they might suggest topical adjuvants or oral medications.

I has a problem in my skin. It is soft and week how to solve it.

Male | 18

Soft and weak skin can signal the presence of multiple diseases such as Vitamin deficiencies and connective tissue disorders. I suggest you pay a visit to a good dermatologist who will examine your skin and conduct tests to come up with a diagnosis of the underlying cause. From the diagnosis, the dermatologist can propose suitable treatment to increase the health of your skin.
