You may have an allergy to the lungs which makes you cough, wheeze, and feel shortness of breath. Dust, pollen, or pet dander are some of the things that set off these allergies. The symptoms usually persist and disappear, even with the treatment. Take your prescribed medications regularly, avoid the triggers, and see a pulmonologist regularly for better management.

Hello dr I am Suraj Gond from Azamgarh Up .I am suffering from cough and cold near about 5 days now time I feel some coughblood near about 3 days.tell me some ideas.
Male | 24
The problem you've got could be a respiratory infection. Coughing up blood or hemoptysis is when your blood vessels in the airways are irritated thus, the blood is released. Rest. Drink. Fluids. A hard no for smoking and polluted air. You can also use a humidifier, it will moisturize your throat and alleviate your cough. Nevertheless, in case the symptoms persist, or get worse, you are to consult a doctor for a proper evaluation and treatment.

My boyfriend (age 27) has had this all day every day hacking/throat clearing cough with mucus since January... I've been begging him since to get it checked. He waited 4 months until April & finally went. Well, the chest x-ray came back clear. But then why is he still coughing?? I'm exhausted of this, not knowing what it is, but hearing it all day every day, anxious beyond belief while he claims he's "fine" when it's not normal.
Male | 27
Even though his chest Xray came back clear, ruling out obvious lung abnormalities or infections. STill other causes like allergies, postnasal drip, GERD, asthma, or chronic bronchitis could still be responsible. Encourage him to follow up with a medical professional for further evaluation and testing to identify the underlying cause of his symptoms. Taking his cough seriously and seeking medical attention is important for appropriate treatment and relief.

Fever cold and cough from 3 days.
Male | 28
You might have a common cold. A cold is generally referred to as a runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, cough, and other symptoms. It is caused by a virus that spreads from one person to the other with minimal contact or any. To make you feel better, be sure to drink plenty of water and get lots of rest, you may also use OTC medicines that help with symptoms like a sore throat and dizziness. However, if it does not improve in a few days, visit a pulmonologist.

Anxiety may also bring about a rare situation where one finds it hard to breathe. Female | 28
This may be either a cold virus or a respiratory infection. The mucus you are coughing up is your body's mechanism of clearing out microbes. The liquids, humidifiers, cough medicine without a prescription, and the physician's instructions might assist you in handling the symptoms. You can drink fluids, use a humidifier, or take over-the-counter cough medicine to reduce the symptoms.

I'm having cough especially while sleeping it gets more it never leaves to sleep
Female | 30
Night-time coughing can disturb your sleep. It might be caused by irritants in the air or conditions like post-nasal drip or acid reflux. Either way, it’s frustrating! You can try propping your head up while you sleep, and a humidifier might help, too. Staying hydrated is also a good idea. However, if the coughing doesn’t go away, talk to a pulmonologist about it.

To ease severe attacks: inhale from a rescue inhaler, sit upright, stay calm. If symptoms don't improve quickly, seek emergency care immediately.
